  1. The best part of owning this on digital is that the movie is only about 20 minutes long now that I can skip past all the crap.

  2. "Is Lego Super Heroes A Good Investment?" No. Is any LEGO set a good investment? No. Real investors would laugh at such a question. Can one make minimum wage selling LEGO items? Maybe.

  5. This is a first after all these years. Target shipping decided I wanted my entire EBay order shoved in one box, so they unboxed the last set and just folded the Lego box down before taping it up to ship. ?‍♂️

  10. UCS Cloud City RPP in Poland will be for 1900PLN which is about price of the Death Star -20%. My mate who works for LEGO Poland send me text with price confirmation but no set number yet. the more interesting is the fact that there will be set named "HOGWARTS(?)" which will be significantly bigger and more expensive than Disney Castle same RPP as UCS Cloud City in Poland. price overses may vary. both D2C. Well, things are getting interesting.

  16. I only wish I had the spare time to go into my TRU store and gloat at the manager and a few of her minions. They always treated me with indifference or spite shutting me down at every promotion and once even canceling a purchase AFTER it was rang up and paid for using TRUTH and gift cards. I made the decision 2 years ago never to purchase from that store again until she no longer is an employee there. I may still get my chance to gloat in 6 month's time after her unemployment checks run out and she is ringing up my purchases at Walmart clearance event.

  22. 21143 - Minecraft The Nether Portal - UPC 673419281553 - 470 pcs., 5 "minifigs" and "mobs" Contains 4 sealed, numbered bags (1,2,3,4) + two manuals (loose, not in bags) Bag 1 contains all figs and mobs the Ghast, which is in Bag 2. Weight of 4 bags only (no box, no manual) = 412 gr = 14.5 oz.

  23. No is the short answer but there may be one or 2 good sets per year. I would look at the data for superheros if I was you remember that most of the sets get their value from the figs.

  25. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Take for example LEGO Star Wars 75140 Resistance Troop Transporter. It retired December 2016 (USA), early 2017 (Europe). The LEGO RRP (recommended retail price) was $69.99 (USA), €69.99 (Germany), €79.99 (Netherlands). Until now this set is still available on Bricklink for about 50% off RRP, one year after it retired! Okay, granted, that's one of the worst examples I could give. But price/value rise of a set after it retires is not a given. It really depends on the set, on the prolonged demand for it after it officially retires, on the amount produced of the set while it was in production, on the amount of rare / unique minifigs or printed LEGO elements included in the set. Just so you know: there are plenty of Brickpicker members here who have been in this 'game' for years, who still struggle to only pick the right sets that will increase in value after retirement, and to avoid the bad sets that completely fail to increase in value (so called turds on this site ). It's not an exact science but based on sentiments and unpredictable effects.

  26. My wife and I enjoyed the first Fantastic Beasts movie, as a 'Harry Potter expanded world' tie-in. And the implication of further delving into the Dumbledore vs Grindelwald wizarding war that was briefly talked about in the Harry Potter books/movies make this new movie-series all the more tantalising! I say: bring it on!!!

  30. That was one of my biggest issues with his storyline. "WAAHHHHHHHH i am not going anywhere", "I don't care that the galaxy is about to be run by an evil empire", "I am going to sit here and drink my green goo", "Boo Hoo feel sorry for me" Yoda should have beaten his ass. He didn't learn anything.
