Wife needed a new vacuum cleaner .... so I got her the top model Kenwood Elite model, on sale from $600 for $410, plus $35 off $300 coupon, plus 5.5% discounted Giftcards .... plus $85 back in points thanks to a few promos that applied. Which meant I got to buy myself a 70618 Destiny's Bounty for $55 after using those points, a $15 off $70 coupon, another 5.3% off GC and a bit of points I saved up over the last few days ..... 66% off. For personal build (but that means I now have 2 70618's for resale from the $79 WM clearance ...)5 points

Someone just submitted an offer, while also mentioning that they are a single parent - Apparently, there must be some single parent discount that I didn't know about.2 points

10259 Winter Village Station x24. 20% off / $64 each Walmart.com deal from the other day. Train stations and the Winter Village theme have always done well for me. Combine the two and this set is a safe bet to do well once retired. 20% isn't a great discount, but the winter sets rarely get discounted unless you have a Lego store nearby and they are trying to move them after the season is over. Even then it's usually only 30%. I just tried to place another order of 12 but it looks like they finally sold out after a few days. Bummer.1 point

Haha, she thinks I scored her a great deal (and frankly, it is) on the Hoover, and knows nothing about the kickback I received from Sears. Hush!1 point

It's too quiet in here this week. For those of you that like to stay organized, this is the lowest price I've seen on these drawer units. I have about 180 drawers of these and they works great. Select case of 3 (total of 9 drawers) and the price is $24.22 shipped: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-Wide-3-Drawer-Unit-White-Available-in-Case-of-3-or-Single-Unit/447858191 point

It was a great experience for me, I priced accordingly and sold a bunch. Also would just ask for discounts and people accommodated. My thought was I wouldn't make anymore here than eBay. But at least I would not be enriching those jerks, and, maybe save the buyer some money. I appreciated it.1 point

First (and most likely last) delivery of my orders from LEGO Shop at Home sale last Thursday: (8) 42043 Mercedes-Benz Arocs - € 99.99 (6) 75105 Millennium Falcon - € 74.99 (5) 21121 The Desert Outpost - € 34.99 (2) 76057 Spider-Man Bridge Battle - € 49.99 (2) 70596 Samurai X Cave Chaos - € 59.99 (8) 21027 Architecture Berlin - € 14.99 (8) 41125 Horse Vet Trailer - € 19.99 Arocs, Minecraft and Friends arrived minty fresh in factory cartons. 1 of the Berlin sets, 2 Falcons and both Ninjago sets had some creases. Rest were mint and certainly didn't look like returns. Mostly end of 2017 seals.1 point

Well, in your area dinosaurs are probably not extinct yet. They won´t want to dilute interest in the new film.1 point

JUST A QUICK UPDATE: A total of 213 Dimensions sets have shipped out, and brickpickers have so far donated a combined $235 to the St. Paul Fundraiser in connection with their purchase. Thanks to those of you who donated more than a $1 per set, or added the difference in shipping cost to your donation. WHAT NOW? As of Tuesday, 99 cent stores in my area were wiped out, but I'll keep checking and post what I find. So continue to PM me if more of you are interested. It's helpful if you list sets and quantities, rather than saying "let me know what you have" cause then I can estimate and decide whether to arm sweep what I find. P.S.1 I currently have 19 unikitties remaining, so if anyone is interested in these let me know. P.S.2 For those of you whose orders are en route, please let me know when you receive your orders, thanks!1 point

Why would what it's currently selling for on Ebay make any difference to your decision? You don't buy these sets to sell now, unless you find really crazy discounts. A better reason not to buy it would have been, it's ****.1 point

I’m working on a moc of the cantina scene using parts from 2 of 75052 and 1 of the recently released 75205. Still gotta add some more tables and then populate with aliens and whatnot. Im no expert moc man. I borrowed the design from someone off Facebook. Still toying around. Suggestions are welcome!1 point
