The undercutting on this is insane. I just matched the low price and dropped to seventh on the list in 5 minutes. Think I'll hang back for now.5 points

Just an FYI for future orders from BN if you check "Make this a gift" then no stickers.5 points

I bought them after Christmas for $30-40 and sold them on Amazon for $120-130 in less than a year. Seems like a winner to me4 points

Grand Emporium for £127.50. Stage 1 is of unknown completeness, and missing its instruction booklet, but stages 2 and 3 are still fully in sealed bags. I've checked and they are all there (and the instructions, but they're out of shot). I'll go through stage 1, find out what pieces are missing, bricklink them, then build the whole thing for myself.3 points

We're going away for Xmas so my parents gave the kids some money for presents ... we went to the LEGO store today to get the train station for our xmas village and we of course walked out with a bunch of stuff. Receipt 1 - Train Station - Ninjago Movie display case - A couple new keychains - Road plate pack with the curve.. was short one! - Free Advent Calendar Receipt 2 - Minecraft Ice Spikes & Ocean Monument - Speed Champs Bugatti, Mclaren, Camaro Drag Race and 2016 Ford GT & 1966 Ford GT40. - Free Store VIP Polybag ^ Would have probably got the Corvette and Audi but weren't on the shelves. When I asked the cashier for 2 receipts so we could separate what the kids owed us from their money, my partner glares at me and says "what's the point, just put it all on one we can figure it out." Knowing how stingy our store can be with promo sets, I knew making two separate purchases this large would be good enough.... but wasn't going to say that at the register. She eventually did figure it out and apologized outside after. Rookie! (Edit - if anyone's looking to unload a set of Ninjago Movie Minifgures let me know :)).2 points

Walmart must be making a push to improve their customer satisfaction with in-store order pick-up. Maybe because last year holiday time, Site-to-store was such a disaster. I remember going in for pick-up after Black Friday and having to wait in line for an hour... watching countless people in front of me with their orders "lost", or "can't find right now... come back tomorrow..." etc. Anyway... I went in last week to pick up an item, was served quickly, and was handed this small tote bag... they said it was a free gift for using walmart.com... and "please take the survey online to tell us about your satisfaction today..." A few days later I made another pick up, and got the same tote bag... this time it contained a jar of organic pasta sauce, a bottle of Slimfast, a full-sized Dove stick deodorant, and a few pieces of candy. Not all my favorite brands... but I like "free" ! Went to a different store today for pick-up, and this is what I got: A scented rear-view mirror Xmas tree, and and “personal” note from Sam Walton. Pppfff… I think I like the first store better.2 points

Let's keep this thread only for retired product updates (set number, name, S@H region). We have tons of other threads devoted to analizing past/future performance of sets / themes.2 points

I do this all the time! If i know my item is well priced, and it has a bunch of watchers but no bites... i'll raise the price by $5 and it will sell pretty quick haha.2 points

For anyone who is a Costco member... Lego Creator Park Street Townhouse 31065 - $29.991 point

Ebay even worse...but the algorithm does help you sell for more and keep you at the top or near the top of the 1st page. I'm assuming a combination of top rated seller status shipping and return policy have something to do with it.... I sold out of the 12 I had listed. Will wait later to list again.1 point

The monitor articulates and is mounted in the clear pass through hole of the desk (which is centered) there was just now way to keep the monitor arm symmetric1 point

My experience with store pickup has been a mixed bag. The worst was when I waited at the counter for 15 minutes with no one in line and no one to assist me. I checked in with the Walmart app when I arrived to the store and used the electronic notification at the counter at least 4 times. No less than 10 associates walked past me without offering to help. One associate said he would go find someone and never returned. Another customer showed up shortly after me and I wished him good luck and went on my way. I've also had them fulfill and immediately process a refund for store pickup orders. I assume this is because they could not find the items and didn't want to take a hit on their metrics. The first e-mail said my items were ready for pickup and the next one right after that said I had requested a refund.1 point

407 Fire Brigades, 270 Town Halls, 1346 Palace Cinemas, 90 Green Grocers and 38 Café Corners are the other quantities. Pity the fools who went in hard on PCs at full RRP.1 point

I spent $40 on a bundle of used Lego on Facebook Marketplace. It included a pretty much complete with instructions 75051, 75101, 60067, 42036 (missing some stickers I believe) and what I think to be a partial set of Lego Friends 3061 (no instructions) but I found some of the printed parts match up, but not the minidoll. In the process of re-building and making sure the pieces are there. Don't think I am missing too much but I think I might turn out okay for my first mini-flip.1 point

It’s more about smyths and higher priced sets, than one set in particular. Smyths haven’t moved anywhere near the amount of high priced sets this year compared to the last few. Their 20% off all toys in prior years accounted for most of the sales and the general 20% of every £50 this year, people just stayed away. I don’t know if it’s resellers staying away, Lego slight fall out of fashion (off the 2015 high), People moving to other toys/games, People just spending less overall. But sentiment on high priced sets has fallen of. Mid priced are doing just fine at the 20%+ discount level.1 point

Barnes just likes stickers just like LL. Whenever it was I ordered 250 tots year or 2 back they all came that way and they never hit the shelves1 point

I leave the security things on there. But for the love of Pete, remove the price sticker or "I was ripped off!!!!!!" negative feedback will be a real possibility. Seems obvious but many sellers forget or can't be bothered.1 point

Barnes is so whack. Sending a full case (4) and then sending a seperate package with 1 inside1 point

Very true. I have to admit, I didn't realize just how small the snowspeeder is in comparison to the x-wing (5 m vs 12.5 m length). And yet the LEGO UCS snowspeeder is larger than the LEGO UCS X-wing (either of them). I guess I would prefer to be able to place an A-wing next to my X-wing for a display. The snowspeeder is good by itself. Shame we can't realistically build an UCS AT-AT at the same scale as the UCS Snowspeeder. It would end up being HUGE: 5m length (39cm LEGO) vs 20 m length and 22.5 m height (would end up being 156 cm (5 ft) long and 176 cm (5.64 ft) tall in LEGO). lol, I'd have to remove a couch from my house to display the AT-AT.1 point

Damn, that's harsh. Bricklink has been very smooth so far but I do think I have my first NPB as it's been sitting invoiced and packed for a few days now and buyer has 0 feedback. You're right, though, whenever you get a message about your swiftness of processing within the day you know it's going to be a bumpy ride with that seller/buyer.1 point

soo.. basically, if I understood this frenzy freaking acting in the US.. we in EU should be perfectly fine to buy these sets later on (like autumn 2018) for a probable 50 per cent off on the official LEGO e-shop (they did this discount both to Ghosbusters and Dr. Who) and be off and laughing..?1 point
-
Yes 90% of my sets are seal, I will put a list, maybe in a week. I’m busy with my schedule but I’m gonna put a list with prices, if someone buys a few hundred I’ll give a good deal.1 point

This beast would struggle on UK roads but plays a part in a bucket list must do of mine... get a massive RV/Camper and tour the States... And No... I'm not a singer, performer or have any apparent talent haha... Just love the idea of Doing the States this way. Until that happens this set will have to do I see so much negativity about a lot of sets and reading some of these forums genuinely started to bring me right down... it's nice to actually not only enjoy a set myself, but see some positivity from others1 point

My first post here. I came out of the dark ages a about four months ago, in February. This set up has been up for about 2 months now. Kinda stole the wife's stand. I have the minifigures for all of the sets but did not want to put them up yet. I recently built the Parisian Restaurant and London Bridge. Brick bank is unbuilt and I believe the wife bought me the detective office for my upcoming birthday. I am messing around with some light bricks, a few wires and such can be seen sitting on top of the fire station. We are living in a condo so room is limits. Have an entire empty house though but it is 75 miles away, go figure. We rented the house out for 3 months and that really helped with the funding for this and the unpictured collection. I have been buying a lot of bulk lots in the hopes of building some fan designed buildings. I have some serious catching up to do with some of you all. I have seen some very nice setups on here and it makes me want to get mine in a better situation. I wish I hard started back sooner. I wanted to right as the modulars were coming out but was hit with too much college debt. I did get my feet a little wet right before that and got a few nice trains. You know what they say about hindsight.1 point
