I love this model! My fingers hurt for a week after working with those pieces, I had to glue 2 together to get them to stay, and my head almost exploded wading through all of those parts.... Other than that I loved it! I got it for $60 directly from Mattel while exploring the internet for enterprise MOCs. Good luck with your investment! Trekkies will always be around and buyers!

Hello everybody! I'm new on the site. I played with LEGOS all the time from 8-12 than sorta lost interests and changed completely. Lost all the sets I had as well sadly. A couple of weeks ago I stopped in a LEGO store just to check it out and It was a pretty happy feeling looking at all the Star Wars sets. I hadn't picked up a set in about 6 or 7 years. I spotted the Clone Wars Yoda Starfighter set and couldn't resist. I brought it home and put it together and I forgot how fun it was. It rejuvenated my affection for LEGOS all over again. I'm now getting back into it completely and look at it has a very enjoyable hobby to find sets and put them together and collect them. I'm excited to get back into and this seems like a great community. I discovered the website while trying to find a price guide for classic Star Wars sets. Basically just wanted to introduce myself. ?

True, but the 20% selection is on marginal sets. My original comments were with the bigger exclusive type sets in mind (ie Ferris wheel)

All done! Took a little more work than i thought to put on all the panels again and adjust them to be as gravity proof as possible, some trial and error with a lot of things. The stupid LED cord wasn't long enough, so i had to move it around inside and run the wire up through a different spot (oh and i painted the wire ;)). The mount itself isn't perfectly level (even though the holes i drilled are) guess this is just the construction of the mount itself in that it bows a certain direction for whatever reason, maybe it's just getting old? Still some things i need to play around with, but nothing that will be really visible, so this is as good a time as any to share the finished product. Just realized i took these pictures with the mount swung the wrong way, the MILF is indeed centered with the TV and not strangely off centered The mount can be placed flat 2 ways, got it placed flat on the wrong side for these pictures. Right above the tv! perfectly visible spot, as i said it does center with the TV, mount swung the wrong way for this shot. As with 10179 i keep these LED's on 24/7 pretty much as basically the nightlight for the living room area. We also change the colour based on the season, so it will be Orange for Halloween One of the things i still need to fix - making the falcon more parallel to the wall. As you can kind of see here it's leaning a bit to one direction. Just need to loosen the swivel and adjust, but easier said then done as you do need 2 people. Landing gear can be removed if you'd like, but i keep it on, plus it also acts as a support against the wall. Anyways overall very happy, looks better than my 10179 did on the wall. That vertical stand has been floating around built of Technic pieces which would probably be much easier than this, but that would still need a shelf or something to sit on, and i don't have the space to do that, so this was really my only option. Other option would certainly be a lot more stress-free haha, i'm still cautious of something on the mount failing, and any odd creaks/cracks makes my eyes dart towards it, but it should be fine just as 10179 was. So that concludes this log, hope you enjoyed!

Was just at the main store across from the Eaton Centre looking for Star Wars black series figures and was surprised to see they had a mix of the new Star Wars and superheroes lego sets available. I doubt this is a sign of much as the other 2 locations down here I went to didn't have any, and there wasn't even a discount available for EB Games Edge members, but keep your eyes peeled. When God shuts a Sears window, he opens an EB door.

Probably this first MOC I've created myself. This is the base for my first plate to my Winter Village. It's ice skating pond. The next plate will contact to the top, and will be a frozen stream with a bridge over it.

I worked in Grand Teton for a summer and I would go to Idaho Falls on weekends periodically. Usually the best sales I ever found were at Kmart. Although at that time they were mostly smaller Atlantis sets :/
