The Brick Classifieds site will be shut down very soon as I will be bringing it into BrickPicker. There will be new sets of rules on how listings are to be posted and payouts to help try and prevent scammers. I will be sending a message out to all vendors on Brick Classifieds just so that they know that their listings will no longer be viewable on that site. The new section on Brick Picker will be simple, yet better in so many ways compared to this site. I will make an announcement in the near future.

40177 cool little poly bag.

My wife and I built the Destiny's Bounty over the weekend (I got through bag 2 and she kicked me off & did the rest). First time she has built a set herself (almost).... It's a beautiful set, most detailed of all the lego ships imho. I sat it next to the Imperial Flagship once I got it to work. The Flagship is still my fav but this easily beats out the potc ships. Can't believe I have a Ninjago set on display! Highly recommend this one.

Don't know if this is fuel to the fire but my extended family got all three we tried for. Before anyone gets up in arms they were all separate VIP accounts from my family members. They just knew I really wanted more than one.

I built the Lego Atlantis undersea portal. A very unloved theme, but a really nice build. Grandparents got it dirt cheap, and the kids love it.

Cannot like this enough. R1 was the best Star Wars movie since Empire Strikes Back. Yes there were fan service moments but they all made sense given the connection to New Hope and were generally not intrusive. Force Remakens was such fan service that they recreated a movie people loved rather than try to do something different. I was really enjoying it solely on account of the more adult tone compared to the prequels and the earnestness of the new actors right up until the Death Planet appeared on screen. At that moment I felt my stomach sink as I knew exactly how the movie would unfold. I laughed at that scene where the resistance dude replied to the comment about the Death Star by instantly bringing up a picture of the Death Star compared to the Starkiller to show how much bigger the latter was - like he has that file handy right there 30 years later just in case. It's not copying because it's bigger dammit!!!

Today I ordered the first batch of parts for my next big project off of BL. One order down, probably several more to go. What's the project you ask? I'm BrickLinking what will eventually be a heavily customized version of everyone's latest favorite piece of eye candy; the 75192-1 Millennium Falcon. Currently I'm having excellent luck at it, as due to the sheer size of my existing Lego collection I already have between 55-70% of the parts needed for it. So far have spent roughly USD $48.10 on the build. Firmly expecting that to jump as things progress.

It is a sign of LEGO being cheap. In previous years the classic minifigs bonuses (pirate, astronaut, castle soldier) came in small good looking & sturdy boxes

Ninjago does not have the fanbase that SW OT has. Don´t expect miracles with this, or any NM set - just expect deep discounts and buy one for personal enjoyment.

I had a really fun time upgrading to a professional account. Did they ask you to verify your identity? I upgrade to proffesional every fall, and this is the first year I had verify my identify. All my inventory was stranded until I sorted it all out. My steps were sending in my driver's license and bank account. This was all rejected until I updated my credit card expiration date. Then my bank account statement was still rejected until I sent in a seven page bank account statement. They seemed to like that I can finally sell. It took a few hours for my inventory to become un-stranded. It might worth a call see if there is block on your account when you upgraded. It took me 2 weeks to get it straight.

+1 for R1 from me too. No silly furry toys, over-the-hill OT actors, minimal droid intervention, a hot female lead and Darth Vader as a real badass villain instead of whiny boy.

yeah you have to do that one at a time. that's what happens when item is sent in duplicate ASIN's. try to avoid that. i completely understand the price on the original/actual ASIN which appears with the UPC is lower but again its the gamble one takes for higher $$ sometimes it works sometime it doesn't.

I really enjoyed Rogue One. One of the better crafted and compelling Star Wars movies in a standalone sense. Good characters. Compelling story. Real consequences (hard to achieve when you know the outcome). I was a big fan of Force Awakens initially, but as time passes and its many flaws become apparent, my opinion of it has really fallen off. Its more fan-fiction than anything else. Rey is a complete Mary Sue who can do no wrong. Starkiller base is ridiculous as an idea and gets worse if you try to work out the logic of how and when it got built. Billions of people being murdered was an afterthought and casual fans probably weren't aware that was the capital being destroyed. R2-D2's role can only be understood if you read the book. The whole presence of the First Order and the Resistance really makes no sense and those two entities only seem to exist to replicate the original dynamic from the old movies. It looks like The Last Jedi is trying to rectify the flaws of the Force Awakens. Hopefully Rey finds things to be a little more challenging this time around.

Same here. I could not stay awake when re-watching it on Bluray. It is really the biggest fanservice movie money can buy. It is like you are sightseeing instead of watching a stoy. "Oh look! check out YAvin IV", "remember the guy on the tower?", "wow R2 really did appear in all SW movies", "Did he say General Syndulla???", "Is that Tarkin? IT IS", "hey Gold Leader", "Oh Red V died, make sense", "AT-AT on sand!!", "remember Vader needed to be in that weird thing when off suit??" etc etc etc. You do it once and you are done

Indeed, that is ridiculous. There's a new $10 reward promo if you use your TRU credit card three times outside TRU from 10/1 - 10/31. I'm barely motivated to do that. Will, but barely motivated.

Was just at the main store across from the Eaton Centre looking for Star Wars black series figures and was surprised to see they had a mix of the new Star Wars and superheroes lego sets available. I doubt this is a sign of much as the other 2 locations down here I went to didn't have any, and there wasn't even a discount available for EB Games Edge members, but keep your eyes peeled. When God shuts a Sears window, he opens an EB door.

I find myself never wanting to watch Rogue One honestly I saw it and liked it, then I saw it a second time a few hours later with Ed and fell asleep through most of it. I watched it one more time since it was available on streaming/dvd. Yes I have watched the first trilogy several times as well as VI while I am doing work on the site. There were some great eye candy shots in that movie, but that is all I really liked.

Mount is on the wall! It's not perfectly level, but this hammer drill isn't exactly the easiest thing to make precise... This setup "should" hold up to 50 pounds, but i'll always be nervous putting these up for the first time, going to take basically every panel off to make it easier to start. When the arm is fully extended (it has to be to first put the Falcon on it) the weight on the end always concerns me. Now I've got to clear the area and get it up there, hopefully get to that tonight.

Size comparison to other recent polys. Is this the biggest bagged set ever? It really would have been a nice boxed set.

Here is my Halloween display. Was going for a neighborhood with trick or treaters.

Placed an order for 2 of the Star Wars calendars through Shopko. Got an e-mail that one of the items had been cancelled. The other one is still Processing. ?

Attempting to make a bridge to cross to my other section about 30" gap. Using 12x12 modified 3 hole plates and 12x1 beams connecting the outer holes. I plated the gaps on top and the bottom. It's fairly stiff but I don't think it's going to work.

Marathon 3 day build to complete the Falcon! Total build time was around 20 hours and was actually a really straight forward build, nothing too complicated just lots of parts to look through for each set of bags. Really stoked - the ship looks amazing!

So... McDonalds is giving out Ninjago Movie toys with Happy Meals now.... but they are not Lego toys. I hate the term but I would call this a true "epic fail". I mean seriously? A polybag with a happy meal would be great. Even better: make six unique Ninjago Movie minifigs, pack them in non-smooshable mystery packs (maybe in a cardboard envelope?), sell one with each Happy Meal. They would break all sales records.

I told you guys a few years ago about how people Crack investing in Lego, and there are alot of guys from 3 years ago that are not on this site no more, there always be people who crack. "As For Emazers well he will start to crack in about 5 years, I said I would stop buying when I was 70, so thats a year and a half. I figure it will take me a good 5-8 years to sell all my stuff. so I will take my half million dollars that I made, if I am still living I guess I will still be doing what I do now, except no selling.
