I built the Lego Atlantis undersea portal. A very unloved theme, but a really nice build. Grandparents got it dirt cheap, and the kids love it.

Until sometime in the past year, you couldn't get a TRUTH discount on diapers. With some in-store signage fanfare, they removed that exemption. In their minds, it's probably a fair trade. First time in a while today when I went into a TRU, wanted to spend $50 to get the Batman Bricktober promo, and couldn't find anything worth spending $50 on. But I walked out with $84 worth of diapers that I bought with 6% off gift cards and received a promo $30 gift card.

Trailer was friggin awesome. Tickets fandango'd for opening night. Apparently I'm more of a fanboy than I realized.

I liked it. Overall, it looks pretty intense and like it will be a roller coaster ride that in the end will break apart and leaving you hanging for a year and a half to debate what's next. As for the porgs, the marketing gimmick obviously works, because my little boy only wants lego sets with porgs. And I can relate because it's like when I was a kid and was sad when that little ewok took a laser to the back from the AT-ST and laid there lifeless and I felt like we just lost our pet dog...

Here is my Halloween display. Was going for a neighborhood with trick or treaters.

Won the lottery for NYCC Lego Star Wars Brickheadz. While there, Wildcard Toys was selling the SDCC exclusives so I got those as well.

Just when i thought i was at a break from LEGO LEGO Shop at Home for awhile....they hit me with 4 promos and double VIP and reel me back in....

My go-to B&N decided to stop carrying Architecture sets. And they dramatically reduced the space for the others. A different B&N, however, had two Old Fishing Stores in stock. One was beat up, but I snagged the other in great shape with discounted GC's and membership discount. The B&N's around here rarely stock anything worth more than $100 or so (Arch Studio being an exception), so it was pleasant surprise. Just when I think you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this…and totally redeem yourself!

Marathon 3 day build to complete the Falcon! Total build time was around 20 hours and was actually a really straight forward build, nothing too complicated just lots of parts to look through for each set of bags. Really stoked - the ship looks amazing!

I´ll bet you a 10 USD donation to the 2020 Brickpicker charity event that DB 3.0 won´t be trading above RRP within a year of selling out at SAH. Saturn V will depend on how long it is available for. 1.5 years or more and we can forget decent returns. The early adopters have already got theirs and the price is trending down even though it is OOS. Why it was ever limit 5 is a mystery. This should at least make it slightly harder to hoard.

Little follow-up: The packages from amazon arrived today Three fullsized Walkers in pristine condition in very nice boxes as well. Got lucky this time

fba - 5x indominus rex $249 today alone. repriced higher. guessing this will be a very in-demand set this holiday season. Trex trackers also moving quickly at $149 - i'm almost out but at $49 buyin, it was a nice medium length profitable hold.
