Let's be honest, when you've got: You have Chima sets still on the shelf, that have been retired for 2+ years, and they're still marked above RRP, You don't automatically PM your website (and PM'ing negates coupons and other discounts), You jack up the prices above RRP so that your sales aren't really sales, You have so many exclusions on your coupons, that you need a magnifying glass to read them, Your jacked up prices cause people to just go to the other big box store (Target, Walmart) that sells LEGO in the same shopping center ...you're gonna have trouble staying in business.

Thanks for creating a feed! Many of my loved ones are in the NC,SC, and FL area. A few tips if you live in the many expected flood zones. Your dishwasher is like a "flood safe". You can save things you have to leave behind like pictures,small safes, sentimental items, and of course important documents etc. It is waterproof and secure. Also if you are expecting a power outage (which I would) and are staying, your washing machine makes a great fridge. Fill with bottled water, drinks (whatever you need refrigerated.) top with ice. Keep the lid closed. Should keep you good for a couple of days and the water simply runs out.

The only reason I would waste my time waiting on line at the mall would be to get that cool box. My wife will probably want to toss it in the recyclables.

Another personal purchase: All 3 Advent Calendars for $45.71 total (54% off) plus $15 in bonus SYW points from KMart/Sears. Needed some serious SYW magic, but in 2 orders, using a $5 off $35, a $10 off $50, a $10 back on $10 and a $5 back on $20, with $35 in Sweeps winnings did the trick. 6% discounted GC gave the final few dollars of savings.

SSD is too niche and small scale. ISD has a much higher chance to be remade, and I would actually welcome that. Remakes should be done really sparingly, but ISD, Falcon and X-Wing are those I can forgive, since the number of ships so iconic is limited. No matter how creative you are if the movie limits you. Toy Shop, on the other hand, was not limited by its own universe. It was genuine laziness. And I share the same idea for obscure SW ships. There are enough of those so remakes are not needed. If I were LEGO I would release here and there some obscure stuff never to be remade, but make the staples available regularly for average AFOLs. And if they ever remake any modular ... well, that would be their worst decision to date.

I love the line .. "by a real LEGO designer." Does that mean someone who doesn't just tweak remakes? Or perhaps someone who doesn't comb the web looking for AFOL designs to rip off? Might have made more sense to say "one of the MF designers."

Last time I tried ordering online for something like this hype(42056)...i ordered it at 21:01 am (live at 12:00am)....and didn't see the set for 3 months.... meanwhile...people had gone to the lego store grabbed multiples and sold online ...eBay and amazon you sound Like the the guy from "planes trains and automobiles" that tells Steye Martin,??"hey...why don't you Take the airline to get home for thanksGiving!".....it's comfy and you get a free Meal! ..after that it just get ugly???

I haven't read it, but why do people suggest that? I've never deleted any of my listings. I like to follow up and compare prices and aging and such like that. *** ALSO - For any of you long time pros, I know the tons of stuff being gated thing is relatively new - Once an item is no longer available from retailers, does it automatically ungate? How does all that work? I've seen gating for things that are not available (Not LEGO) - So therefore providing invoices and such is impossible. Any way around this?

2015 seems galaxies far away now. 7965 also sold out and retired in 2014, contributing nicely to the pension fund. That was long before the clone and knock off wars started. Times have changed since then and 75105 has been at 30% off on Amazon all year and down to 30 quid at Tesco. We have to see if there is a spike in interest in old SW sets for TLJ but I am prepared for the worst just in case.

In that one catalogue that leaked, it showed 5 sets coming for the Han Solo movie. There's also 4 more sets coming for the Last Jedi on 1/1/2018 for the winter wave. I also read where "Solo Friday" or whatever they are calling it is on 4/20. So, after this winter wave, that's the next thing to look forward to until the Summer 2018 waves, which I assume will have the traditional 5 or 6 sets that will probably book end both the Han Solo and Last Jedi films. I'm going to assume we won't see many more Force Awakens or Rogue One sets...although it would be nice to at least get a Saw Gerrera mini to finish off Rogue One. It's also disappointing we didn't get anything related to Darth Vaders slaughtering of Fleet Troopers as they escaped on the Tantive IV (in fact, I'm shocked the Tantive IV wasn't in the Rogue One waves). That would have made for a great set highlighting the best scene in the movie.

If they really push the boat out which means replacing magnet system, including an interior and also including a lot more detail, this could be a huge upgrade to a classic which is looking quite dated based on modern techniques. Something similar to rashkolnikov's recently released 15,000 piece MOC of the ISD aggressor.

I'm still waiting on a large UCS-scale set of the Petranaki Arena/Battle of Geonosis from Episode 2. I don't get it why one's not been made yet . So much playability and display value. And we keep getting remakes and skipping one of the biggest scenes from the prequel trilogy. And nobody even talks about it as a set. Something similar to this would work.
