Looks like that copper head just ate. You're def lucky you didn't get bit. If you had been bit I think you would have won BP's first Darwin award.8 points

Yes. They ship out the good boxes first and end with the worst box conditions. So we should see retirement in a month.3 points

I think it's the best looking set..However, it's way overpriced. $110 is ridiculous. $80....maybe $90 max.2 points

Always a purchase required during their week. Then you can buy any left overs for $20 the following week. Or you can buy them from me. I'll sell you one for $20 You'll save the money on tax =)2 points

All of them are awesome except the City one. The recoloured CMF ones are a surprise, I love them! Apparently the Batman one is available online for $15 but it's EU only or something, can't ship to USA. I don't want to buy anything at TRU... so.. idk how I'm gonna get these2 points

Yup definitely a copperhead. Juveniles have the yellow tail which goes away as they age. Juvies are pretty docile but adults a little more aggressive. They are pretty but I only use a snake stick to handle them. Thanks for sharing and glad you didn't get bitten.2 points

Hey moderators is there a way to have tabbyboys current feeling on this set replacing the poll at the top? Haven't been on in a minute so catching up on this and for a week every other page is a post from him saying how he's going to buy 3- 1 to open, 1 to keep, and 1 to sell after retirement to help pay for the others. A few hours ago he changed that to only buying 1. Then a couple hours ago he changed that to maybe buying none. Maybe his opinion could be on the ticker on the front page?2 points

Amazed at how well this set sells, given that there is a newer version out. Sold the 2 that I picked up at B&N for 75% off during clearance within a day of listing at $53 FBA on Amazon. I guess many people think "it's slightly cheaper than the new version" and happily click on "Buy" ...... I like my 300% ROI1 point

These six sets have qualified for the Second 2017 review round. Personally I think the only submission that has a minor chance to actually get officially made is the Wonders of Peru set, and even that set doesn't have any appeal to me. I Am Your Father --> Star Wars property, so not going to happen. Space Shuttle --> Done before, so not going to happen. Saturn V launch tower --> Not a standalone set but linked to another Ideas set. Not going to happen. NF-15B --> Another jet plane, like the Red Arrows Hawk submission. Not going to get approved. Gilmore Girls --> Like The Big Bang Theory, but bigger, more detailed, and more expensive. Highly doubtful LEGO will do such a set again.1 point

So I took a local visit to the Lego store. Figured I'd post a few pics. Haven't had a chance to read through the thread but the Lego employee told me that essentially the new Lego VIP card will be given out with each Falcon purchase (New OR existing members) It will come with special promotions throughout the year focused primarily on Star Wars Legos. Your existing card and membership will still work. Kind of a cool concept.1 point

I think we play the game somewhat similar although, you buy way more than I do Regardless, i'd say right now is the time to go ****** those sets that are at least in great shape on the shelf. I see amazon even has some sets discounted that are almost near 30 to 40% off. One thing I've learned over the years is that come november, most of the pristine boxes are gone by then. And when I sell beat up boxes, people tend to complain, so I don't do that anymore. I definitely just scribbled out my top 10 list of Star Wars sets to buy right now... Now it's time to make the rounds.1 point

I have a Walmart down the road from me and will more likely start making trips there to check for clearance. My question is is there a certain clearance aisle or place for these Legos? I went to B&N the other day asked "is this where ALL the Legos are even clearance?" The girl replied yes. So I couldn't find anything (despite their site showing inventory) so for giggles I called the next day asked the guy to Check 2 skus for me. Sure enough "yes sir I found them in our clearance section"....I don't want the same issue at Walmart. So I figured I would ask. Is it in the regular Lego aisle? Another toy aisle that is the "clearance aisle" or is it in a complete different part of the store? I'm sure it can be store by store but I'd like an overall idea on "where to check" for this stuff. Thanks1 point
