  1. Looks like that copper head just ate. You're def lucky you didn't get bit. If you had been bit I think you would have won BP's first Darwin award.

Great little set. Built it up at the cottage with the family and everyone loved it.
  3. U need an override , a helpful person or the hxckid looks
  4. I would honestly pass on all of those.
  5. OMG HOLD ME. Leicester Sq. The display was opened for about 3 minutes to make some additional adjustments on the ship positioning, some Mutterficker sneaked from behind to steal both rear masts from the ship.
  6. Finished Old Fishing Store, and it went perfectly on the mantle:
  7. Yes. They ship out the good boxes first and end with the worst box conditions. So we should see retirement in a month.
  8. Looks like a "no selections" review to me.
  9. I've def won't be handling any more snakes. Feeling pretty damn lucky. May pick up a couple powerball tix in the morning.
  10. Not falling for that crap again. Hated last year's
  11. The only thing supraboy builds are magical sorting baskets and stacks of hotcakes.
  12. I think it's the best looking set..However, it's way overpriced. $110 is ridiculous. $80....maybe $90 max.
  13. Always a purchase required during their week. Then you can buy any left overs for $20 the following week. Or you can buy them from me. I'll sell you one for $20 You'll save the money on tax =)
  14. Yup here we go....324 pieces to retro fit a bare minimum decent build from 2009's 10179 Maybe more maybe less.... sigh? But hey...it gives us somthin to Do ...wouldn't be the first time us lego fans don't correct a SnaFU!! ???
  15. All of them are awesome except the City one. The recoloured CMF ones are a surprise, I love them! Apparently the Batman one is available online for $15 but it's EU only or something, can't ship to USA. I don't want to buy anything at TRU... so.. idk how I'm gonna get these
  16. Well, at least TLBM set is cool.
  17. Yup definitely a copperhead. Juveniles have the yellow tail which goes away as they age. Juvies are pretty docile but adults a little more aggressive. They are pretty but I only use a snake stick to handle them. Thanks for sharing and glad you didn't get bitten.
  18. Star Wars geekism sinks to a new all-time low as people debate the merits of a spaceship´s rear end.

Hey moderators is there a way to have tabbyboys current feeling on this set replacing the poll at the top? Haven't been on in a minute so catching up on this and for a week every other page is a post from him saying how he's going to buy 3- 1 to open, 1 to keep, and 1 to sell after retirement to help pay for the others. A few hours ago he changed that to only buying 1. Then a couple hours ago he changed that to maybe buying none. Maybe his opinion could be on the ticker on the front page?
  20. Who sells LEGO? I thought we were just supposed to horde it...
  21. Finished the Silent Mary last night

love bb8 set. the head rotation and the little arm coming out are smooth and fun. didnt actually get to build it as son would not allow me to. he was cool with me paying for it though.
  23. Finished Mirko's U-Wing. I think this rivals the Nebulon.

I don't know if I was dreaming or what but I could have sworn I saw a post where someone preordered a UCS falcon for a May the 4th celebration this year. I searched everywhere (here, shopathome) and came up with nothing though.
  25. Flip? This is a personal build
  26. Yeah, same here. I'm not a fan or buyer of this set as a collector.

i agree. pic from last page here and another one from google.
  28. These six sets have qualified for the Second 2017 review round. Personally I think the only submission that has a minor chance to actually get officially made is the Wonders of Peru set, and even that set doesn't have any appeal to me. I Am Your Father --> Star Wars property, so not going to happen. Space Shuttle --> Done before, so not going to happen. Saturn V launch tower --> Not a standalone set but linked to another Ideas set. Not going to happen. NF-15B --> Another jet plane, like the Red Arrows Hawk submission. Not going to get approved. Gilmore Girls --> Like The Big Bang Theory, but bigger, more detailed, and more expensive. Highly doubtful LEGO will do such a set again.
  29. I hate people every day...Then some people surprise me and give me hope. On the missing pieces...now it really looks bad. LOL
  30. So I took a local visit to the Lego store. Figured I'd post a few pics. Haven't had a chance to read through the thread but the Lego employee told me that essentially the new Lego VIP card will be given out with each Falcon purchase (New OR existing members) It will come with special promotions throughout the year focused primarily on Star Wars Legos. Your existing card and membership will still work. Kind of a cool concept.

Popped into the Galeria in Frankfurt city centre in between meetings whilst on a business trip. Saw this great life size moc of the Porsche 911
  32. In Warsaw, Lego Store still has 2015 retirements in stock.
  33. 14 sets to be exact..... I drive between Monterrey and San antonio quite often.... I just adjusted work to get there on Thursday night ( had to pick the Saturn that day) , and be early Friday in the store for Force Day..... I took the family and had a good time in the Store friday..... they had Star Wars characters.... A Scarif Stormtrooper and an astromech , a black one, I do not know the name of it.... really cool...
  34. Ok here's a nice pic I thought would give perspective to accuracy ... this is from marshal banana's flicker page... although it's been said in this chat that marshals version us not a "mini fig" scale, I tend to disagree based on the fact marshal was limited to the old canopy mold on his Build ...but the proportions are all the same... based on the new canopy Mold released in the 75192 set...I believe marshal will further refine his Falcon based on his post and this pic he posted... but I think it's a nice comparison overall in the pic
  35. it tells me u need a better resolution
  36. Goonies Dimensions pack is $14.99 on Amazon.

  38. Day or 2 ago. Red drum. About 30"
  39. I have to say, I'm not blown away. small station, random vehicle and 4 pieces of track.
  40. I read the post and thought "I hope Emazers is right", then I realised it was Tabby. Took me 20 minutes to pick myself back up off the floor.

  42. Yep, like my blonde hair? Just brushed it...
  43. Well it isn't a house but would fit into the setup nicely. Equestrian Statue
  44. Heartlake Supermarket by MiniGray!
  45. I have a Walmart down the road from me and will more likely start making trips there to check for clearance. My question is is there a certain clearance aisle or place for these Legos? I went to B&N the other day asked "is this where ALL the Legos are even clearance?" The girl replied yes. So I couldn't find anything (despite their site showing inventory) so for giggles I called the next day asked the guy to Check 2 skus for me. Sure enough "yes sir I found them in our clearance section"....I don't want the same issue at Walmart. So I figured I would ask. Is it in the regular Lego aisle? Another toy aisle that is the "clearance aisle" or is it in a complete different part of the store? I'm sure it can be store by store but I'd like an overall idea on "where to check" for this stuff. Thanks
