More sand green elements can't go wrong with that. The car is nice but for only a 902 piece set wish they would have used those parts to make the station larger. Not watermaked or confidential but Mods please take down if not allowed
  2. great twitter reply to Lego's UCS MF teaser. "Oh my god, is that a picture of the set? I can't believe we're finally getting Alderan "
  3. Here it is. Our new exclusive set costs 3.67 times more than this.
  4. Hahaha https://brickset.com/sets/75192-1/
  5. This is truly frustration free packaging!
  6. Guess it´ll have the rectangular satellite dish then!
  7. Wow, built entirely with 2x4 elements, interesting.
  8. 5 proper lego, 3 Juniors and 2 Duplo. Maybe a large exclusive too. Seems they are going to milk this one so maybe this Xmas is a good time to sell the previous sets.
  9. A leaked picture of the 10259 Winter Train Station is up on reddit, looks good, just hoping those clock faces are printed.

Hello everyone I'm 45 yo and I've started playing lego again for 2 years now. I'm a minifigs fan too, so sometimes I like to create small or medium builds to display them. Here's a set I've just finished called "Weird Science" to display one of my favorites minifigs the Bee and the Man Plant (Plant Man?). You can see other pictures and other stuff here : https://www.flickr.com/photos/rsmbricks/ Hope you like it Happy to be playing Lego again and sharing it with lego fans

    'Tis the season...
  13. In all honesty, whatever it is, whatever it looks like, whatever the retail price is, I'm buying one and I can not wait to start building this thing!
  14. Kind of disappointed that it's only gonna be two colors.
  15. Think they could have gone with a bit more snow though.

First is 8099 Mid Scale Star Destroyer Middle is one of the many Droid Tri Fighter incarnations. Might be a few pieces in this picture that don't belong to it though. Last one looks to be a giant spider, probably from set 4994 Creator.

  18. Lego LEGO Shop at Home knocked the Classic Batcave down another $15 to $199. https://shop.lego.com/en-US/Batman-Classic-TV-Series-Batcave-76052
  19. I have a wife, and she has expressly forbidden me from buying this set, until certain other non-essential things are purchased first (read: golf cart for cruising the neighborhood) .

If anyone would like to join our BP fantasy football league, we have 3 open spots at this time. Please contact me for more info.
  21. Only 2 new sets for 1HY 2018; 21038 Las Vegas and 21039 Shanghai skylines.
  22. I read all the info as: Sept 1st - Come and drool on the store model Sept 15th - VIP orders Oct 1st - General release
  23. My wife will be with me in line outside the Lego Store on day-1, since she wants it just as much as I do.

I truly hope not. I want all 7541 pieces to be the Falcon and figures only. I hate little side builds.
  25. Everyone knows Ed is just a big emotional pile of mush
  26. Looking fwd to the set but I don't know if this is going to be an efficient flip. Online you would need to get $2100 to be able to compete with other toy's ROI in 4th quarter. Locally $1600 but I don't see getting that on much volume either. One fraudulent online buyer (and this would be a very high risk item) would really put a dent in profits. If they do a limited numbered edition we will buy alot otherwise I don't think I want to get stuck trying flip an $800 set locally just to make a few hundred profit. If they do limited numbers that would be great news for resellers.
  27. Good question. Sounds like a great question for the BL forum - lob the grenade and watch the fur fly,
  28. I think the sand parts represent the part count of the Taj Mahal and the grey ones the part count of the MF... Still lots of parts for sure..
  29. Updated list: 22/8/17 9 sets in total and that´s our lot for 2017. Creator 10256 pending confirmation, probably 2018. January: 10255 Creator Assembly Square April: 71042 Pirates of the Caribbean Ship May: 75144 UCS Star Wars Snowspeeder June: 10257 Creator Carousel July: 21137 Minecraft Mountain Cave August 10258: Creator London Bus September: 70620 Ninjago Movie City October: 10259 Winter Train Station October: 75192 UCS Star Wars Millennium Falcon
  30. Current info is that we’re getting Nexo (but the schedule may be switched with Ninjago – to capitalise on the movie) but no DC girls. Is there not another TLBM CMF series in the works? (I don't pay much attention to CMF anymore) but I can see a drop in production of the sets. So that's probably the capacity.
  31. I think we have a valid replacement for Nexo.
  32. The AFOL in me loves this set. The investor in me knows the chance of a batcave appreciating nicely is small since one is released every 2-3 years with very little duration in- between the old being totally sold-out at retail and the new one arriving If any batcave should appreciate, it's this one. However, I view buying this for investing as high risk / low reward. I'm forcing myself to pass even at $200 each. The buy-in would need to be $125-$150 for me to buy 2+.
  33. I eventually went to the local lego stores and bought almost one of each. I was hesitant as I didn't know about how well they will appreciate, but I really like the garmadon ones (especially the flash back and pj ones). I found a youtube video, a mother was teaching viewers how to feel the bags so buyers don't get to suffer from having unwanted doubles. Those tips were helpful, at least I didn't get doubles. It was really fun feeling the bags and very satisfied when i got all of them right. =D There were a father and a boy coming in when i was feeling the bags and I helped them landing the ninja lloyd as that's the only one the boy wanted it. I taught them how to feel the bags, and they ended up helping me in return to found the warlord garmadon. The staff seemed having fun watching how many I could figure out too. They even went to the stock room and put out more for me to feel so that I can get as many identical ones as I could. At the end, I have 5 minifigs left unfound in the inventory they had at the moment. I am gonna go back next month when they have new batches and will feel the bags again. =D Note: I am new here, still figuring out how everything works on this site
  34. Some recent interesting sales: Doc Brown minifig for $7 Cyberman fun pack for $12 76021 Milano for $80 2x galactic empire BPs for $13.50 each. Cosmic boy poly bag for $10.70 UN building for $75 And a Pisa for $60
  35. I know the color of the box and some details, it is being manufactured in Mx... I cannot confirm minifigures yet... my contacts are keeping these details even from me..... which is good, I want it to be a surprise for me as well... that is why I have not digged deeper into the detaisl...
  36. GSP has really been one of the few positive things eBay has done over the past few years. Lately, I've been selling significantly more through GSP than domestic sales with no issues whatsoever with my transactions.
  37. mine came this way too along with the 2 i ordered from shop at home.
  38. I applied for a job at Sam's Club late last night, and got an interview and the job the very same morning shortly after I woke up today. I'm only 19 and an off and on college student who's been unemployed most of the past year so this is a big deal for me.
  39. 1. 7,598 2. August 30th 3. + buildable Mynock 4. Both
  40. Well, that ruined the forthcoming Mythbusters episode about no discounts on exclusives.
  41. I'm basing my analysis on the performance of 42009 MKII which I believe is a superior set. Mercedes Aroc's aren't very common in the U.S. This build is going to appeal to a very minimal range of Lego fans. At a buy in of 30% off+ I believe this is a great buy that will net 100$ profit pretty easily. That being said I wouldn't consider it at anything more expensive based on how terrible selling large sets has been plus the storage space and high competition.
