  1. My treat for Comic Con this year - an autographed Rogue One double vinyl album, signed by Michael Giacchino. Second time I've met him (first time for an autograph). Probably my favorite composer just after John Williams. He wrote all the music for LOST.
  2. Well since its been so damn slow and I haven't heard anyone else mention it, Kmart is expanding their inventory blowout test as a chainwide initive in store and online. ALL Lego is 15% off, before y'all freak out and say that that isn't very good remember that SYW discounts and coupons apply. I bought $300 worth of Lego yesterday for like $80. You can check it out here: http://www.kmart.com/search=lego?storeId=10151&catalogId=10104&levels=Toys %26 Games&frmPg=dis&kmartTab=true
  3. Scored the new Destinys bounty a week early and effective £99
  4. Barnes & Noble $90 for $100 gift cards. Limit 3 http://m.ebay.com/itm/100-Barnes-Noble-Gift-Card-For-Only-90-FREE-Mail-Delivery-/302383474839?_trkparms=5373%3A0|5374%3AFeatured
  5. 60051 High-speed Passenger Train with my son. I've never built a LEGO train or one with Power Functions. Took me back to my youth, building HO scale trains - I even thought to myself "this is a bigger scare than I'm used to."
  6. Bought all those within last couple days between Walmarts and targets. All sold already to one buyer.
  7. Spotted in Glendale, CA: Grandpa's Bald Hair (!) Computer Programmer's Torso Not rare (but fun!): Teddy Bear
  8. Not a standard Lego Set but its created by me. When i'm not shipping lego sets and not working working at a day job I to have some fun with grey bricks. This current set is the 2.0 of my profile picture. I am about to break it down to make a 3.0 of it, thought id share it. I have had a huge inspiration from the Halo series type ships and the 40k warhammer series is currently growing on me currently as well. I'm going to try and work on a warhammer inspired ship as well later down the road. And here it is with the fleet. I can go more into depth and show other sets that I make but i'm currently lazy and just cropping the pics took me some time.
  9. Considering how odd most of the human-faced characters look, I must say that I really like Obi-Wan and his weird beard for some strange reason.
  10. Was able to use my reward online for store pickup and got a Silent Mary.
  11. Cool build lots of detail.
  12. Found these 3 pieces in a kilo box of random Technic pieces picked from a Opshop which had been reduced to $15, these were out the door same day for $120.
  13. I bank my points and luckily don't mind using them on gifts for my kids. However if this is true. Then my TRU card will enter into a state of hibernation.
  14. 10% TRUTH restrictions are probably next
  15. Also cashed in my rewards. Couple of observations: 1) the recent update to the TRU website *SOCKS*. Several attempts to view a list of ALL LEGO sets, sorted by price, available for Store Pickup ended in empty or non-existing pages. When I finally found a link that did work, I got into JSP hell, and the sorting and filtering parameters didn't carry over to the next page. So net, no way to see a full list of all sets ordered by price. 2) when I got to checkout with my selected sets, it recognized the Reward but did not apply it, saying it "did not meet the criteria". Which leads me to think that the website route is getting the exclusion applied as well as we speak. 3) luckily, the mobile site still accepted the reward, and I was able to order for Store Pickup. Net, as speculated before, the use your TRU Rewards for LEGO days are ending.

Not sure they would take back the dozen I bought half a year or more ago.
  17. Must teach my new phone the word minifigs. Why it flips to monifig is beyond me, it still gave me that option this time.
  18. I fixed the title for you, but I'm leaving monifigs as is. Lol.

  24. What an amazing build! Took us around 6 hours. The payoff on Step 236 of the yellow and red modified plate placement in Step 155 absolutely blew my mind. Bag Seven was a work of art. This set is solid gold, my favorite to date.
  25. While patiently waiting for I-brix Happy and satisfied!

  41. And this is me having bought something for the first time in 36 days at lunchtime after picking up 2 Y-Wings for €40 each in the Disney Store
  42. Every set and the same yesterday and the day before and the day before, you get the idea. This is me, having not bought anything in over a month
  43. yeah - the positivity and general consensus of "like" in this thread is a little disconcerting. even tabby is talking about buying some. it's like the 29th coming (and going) of the apocalypse . this set looks so awesome - gives me a haunted house kind of vibe with the ramshackle shack appearance and the colors are fantastic. considering this set a modular and the relative short life of Ideas sets (relative to the modular series), i will be buying OFS early and often.
  44. we need this, coolest thing made from lego
  45. Here's some of the 2nd quarter items (hopefully I'm allowed to post this link) .... http://www.thebrickfan.com/2015-second-quarter-lego-store-build-a-minifigure-bar-elements/
