I really do like the looks of this set! There looks to be lots of creative build techniques! My kids really want this set, but the wife has already put dibs on it for the modular cabinet....

It is quite obvious that the whole character is being set up for a redemption. First they needed to make him dirty by killing Obi W... I mean Han Solo. In EP9 there will be some cheesy family reveal (possibly about Rey) that makes him turn, just before he dies. Not too difficult to predict what will happen. After Yoda trains Luke in EP8.. gosh sorry, I meant Luke trains Rey, Jabba will release Finn and Snoke will reveal that he is the mother of Chewbacca. Seriously, EP7 was simple as a stick. I believe that Disney took the prequels' failure as a hint that complex stories not working with SW. However, it was the execution. In the 2010's we want some uniqueness at least, if not complexity. If EP8 will be another EP5, the franchise will lose some serious appeal.

So at this point we "know" the following: An image "is out" that shows a lego designer boasting that he worked on a large SW set to be released Sep. 1st 2017. It was confirmed that the designer is: Hans Burkhard Schlömer The set is going to be: much, much, much, much, much, much larger than set 75182 and is going to be announced on September 1st 2017. Now to make it interesting if we assume that each "much" is code for "1000 pieces" then this "larger set" would be a massive set (over 6,000 pieces). (Not likely, but it does get close to an assumed $599 price point) calling @CM4Sci. ?
