The ones who decided to go to Leicester Sq wont regret that for sure, Jamie Berard and Morten Graff-Wang was there and I have had great pleasure to talk to them in peron because not much of the AFOLS there and people simple didnt know who they are so it gave some extra minutes to spend with them and oh blimey that was a great experience and conversation to have. Got London Bus and Apollo V Signed along with Assembly Square Sorry Tabby for underestimating this event, they did blow the balloon with this one for sure.6 points

Mixed lot from CL that appears to have a Cloud City in it, what a score! Only about 10% of the way through it, haven't completed all the figs yet but I have enough of the unique parts to know its there - we will see how complete it is! Just hoping to unearth that full Boba.6 points

Turned out to be a pretty good day. Got my first CL sale in months. Guy came by to get the July 2016 Knights Retrospective for $20 and asked if I had anything else, said his kid likes minifigs. Sold him a Tupperware dish of about 20 Chima, Ninjago, and SW Ep1-3 battle pack guys for $50. Told him I was just starting to sort through a lot of about 20 pounds of incomplete POTC, City, and MF sets with very few minifigs that are VERY dusty, I had already pulled the one complete set, a ghost train out for myself. Told him $100 for the tub, he was stoked, a little low, but saved me hours of sorting through partial sets and cleaning them. Then I got a BL order for an Epic Dragon Battle (used) for $75.5 points

We were on vacation in Asheville, NC 2 weeks ago, and during one of the rainy-days, I saw an ad on Craigslist for bulk lego that had some Harry Potter parts sticking out. The lot was split into multiple bags, so I offered $100 to take them all. Before leaving, she had her son run in and get the "ship" that was sitting on his shelf. He came out and plopped a Black Pearl on top of one of the boxes. =) After soaking and cleaning he pieces, the Pearl was mostly complete, only missing 1 sail and 1 mini-fig. I've also inventoried a Clone Turbo Tank, a Hogwarts, Hagrids Hut, LOTR Mines of Moira, and a Hobbit Goblin King Battle. There's more, including some space themed sets that I haven't yet identified, along with some Ninjago dragons. Good pick-up so far.3 points

I think I have a phone anxiety issue. I sent an email. They'll read it after it's shipped.3 points

Yeah, I´ve seen some shops with a glorified cash machine that do the same. Apparently you need to have some sort of Bitcoin compatible card to use them and that way you can also make payments. That´s as far as my knowledge on the subject goes. All those abbreviations that make no sense take me back to my first day on BP. Nostalgia.3 points

only if I'd know they will be there I'd defo prepare a long list of questions related with current present and future projects. We talked a bit about Apollo V, to those who dont know Jamie is not just responsible for Creator and Creator Expert Line but also Ideas, he is in a straight line a Boss of the Mike Psiaki and everything Mike has achieved so far was under strict observation and jurisdiction of Jamie. He did mention about the part when Michael was explaining to Jamie techniques he used to achieve certain aspects of construction which Jamie would never use in first hand. We talked little about Ninjago CIty building and why they left a backdoor by using technic parts to connect modulars together. We talked little about carousel and again Mike's influence and Assembly Square which is like a cheery on the top of the Pie for Jamie. We talked little as well about Lego House and why this place is such a important place and achievement to the Lego Group. He said the new Creator Modular building is in the Pipeline and it was a very important project for him because he wanted to give it a go for very long time but he did't receive positive respond from TLG untill now, so that means one of the Modulars is going EOL very soon. Forgot to ask them about upcomming new big construction from Lego which is coming this December associated with Disney but not really with Star Wars. Jamie was talking in superlatives about mike and how much of the fresh air he brought with himself to the design team and how much they are a inspiration to each other. Great talk, great people, glad to see those Lads again.2 points

Having now built this, it's no wonder why Lego haven't released a UCS AT-AT. Despite his being well designed and structurally very stable it was a bit of nightmare putting everything together. I spent almost a day attaching the head onto the body. Biggest build to date coming in at just over 6700 pieces. Hopefully that will be topped by the new Falcon and then my UCS collection is complete with respect of in my opinion all of the iconic ships in Star Wars universe.2 points

I have one of those foldable 6 ft tables in th basement with a smooth cloth cover so thing stay in place. Plus everything is out of the wife's everyday line of sight hah! Question: I regards to personal collections, but you flattened the boxes for storage or keep one sided sealed and not flattened?2 points

My daughter and I built 41593 Captain Jack Sparrow Brickhead on a daddy daughter date night last week, which she followed up with 41586 Batgirl Brickhead earlier this week after it went on sale at TRU while we were spending $30 to get a free battlepod. I am not a Brickheadz guy, but my daughter loves them!2 points

What's the consensus on the in-store WW Brickheadz promo? Worth the effort? Any word on packaging and/or instructions provided? Will these things be worth selling?1 point

Those are taxes on Ebay fees, not on the selling price. So yes, it's 1-2$ per 100$.1 point

I personally flatten them to save storage. (I don't see the point to keeping one side sealed if the other isn't - as it isn't technically a sealed box any longer.)1 point

Cut the sticker sheet. X-acto knife is your best friend. Using a NEW blade for a box cutter will work too.1 point

This version likely would not be considered for a UCS version. More likely the version done by raskolnikov at 2500 pieces is along the scale of a TLG style UCS version.1 point
