My question for you...What are you and your kids going to build today? We are cracking into the Carousel....can't wait to put this one on display!! Enjoy your day!!

  5. Right now, a stack of pancakes.
  6. I ran a 3:32:08 marathon at Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, MN. A personal best by 14 minutes.
  7. I decided to crack open an Ewok Village to build with my 5-year-old daughter. My OCD wife has offered to sort the pieces for us.
  8. It's getting harder and harder to feed the troops !!!
  9. Here are probably potential top secret Blueprints of the upcoming UCS Millennium Falcon. We can see there will be 12 bags, most of he parts remain the same as per se original Millenium Falcon from 2007.
  10. My 7 year-old son got the Creator Lighthouse 31051 for his birthday. Of course I had to 'help him' build it. Maybe for his 8th, I can get him an Expert set.
  11. My wife offered to get up with our son overnight, so I stayed up late to finish Slave I. I usually get to steal an hour a few nights a week after bedtime to build, so it took about three weeks. This afternoon my daughter and I are going to break out her Duplo rocket and Saturn V! PS I finally got some shelves!
  12. 1930 Ford Model A by Calin

  20. got the itch. magnificent set. much more impressive in person if you havent built or seen it
  21. The retired stuff did very well until the undercutters soured the market.
  22. We have been working on the Ninja village. My son was up at the crack of dawn to show and tell his grandmother all about it... (and let me sleep in for an extra 20 minutes...) Thanks to y'all for supporting our father-son hobby!
  23. Some sw stuff appears to be 20% off as well, like the u wing and phantom
  24. I sold a 4002016 with box in regular condition..... sold for 199.99 plus shipping....
  25. I want to buy some 3rd party stickers to get some more variation in the containers. All Maersk is kind of boring. Never had the earlier iterations of the container ships.
  26. Sold 2 10241 Maersk EEE today for $250 each. Going to hold one to build eventually.
  27. Rorschach by Jeremy Rider
  28. Looks like he would fit nicely on the Silent Mary you may have started something @FuzzyB
  29. Meh. This is my drive way a couple times a week, in the middle of the night:
  30. Most people here are not amateurs, they'll need full set lists to take you seriously, if you want to move in bulk. Provide a full list and a price and you'll move more quickly. List like this, and you'll hear mostly from people trying to pick the lowest hanging fruit for the lowest possible price. It'll take a while. The more sophisticated your listing, the more sophisticated offers you'll get.
  31. Feed the poor thing.....
  32. I didn't want my 10179 buyer to have a terrible time hunting for bricks during his build. Thus I created a MS Paint app inspired drawing. It tells what sections of the ship are in what bag. While helpful, my 7 year old said he can do better note; the tear down took 1 hour (did it carefully) which is a tiny fraction of the length it took to build and filled 12 UPS envelopes. each bag was 1/4 to 1/3 filled. The 2 masts were sandwiched between 2 pieces of hard poster-board.
  33. I'm not that innocent... (From shereallycamethatway on Reddit)
  34. It's really nice here. The crazy part is that I took this photo at 11pm and the sun is still out. The sun was also back up again at like 3:30am. It is 4:45 am now and I am wide awake. I was going to ask the pilot if we could stop real quick at LEGO HQ, and get some details on the new Falcon
  35. Wait till TRUTH for additional 10% and use other magic to get it lower. If u can get the individual cars less than $10 you're in good shape.
  36. Picked up about 30 of these tonight just before store closing, I convinced them to let me buy them since the promo was ending tonight. Had previously been heismaned when attempting to buy. Got them for 20% off too which was nice!
  37. Went to Costco this afternoon and snacked on the free samples so much I was no longer hungry. It was tie between the beef jerky and sausage for the tasting sample. Ended up buying a package of sausage. My thirst was quenched by having a sample of iced tea. ?
  38. Lego did have to get permission but one would assume that once the permission is granted it is opened ended meaning that they could make the set as long as they wanted to.
  39. I'll take them. My TRUTH haul from yesterday. Just one item, but it's my Father's Day present (which seems to be a tradition to get me a boat on Father's Day): Now comes the crazy math time: $199.99 on the floor. $117.07 out the door, after $20 in Rewards, 15% off coupon, 10% TRUTH, a throwing a couple of gift cards at it that were bought at either 15% or 20% off. 41% off. I'll take it!
  40. Sold my last 75054 AT-AT last night for €210 cash. Exactly double my buy-in when I bought these just after I came out of my Lego Dark Ages late 2015. At that time I just couldn't fathom how people would some day be paying a large premium over a set that was available in every toy store selling LEGO sets, and regularly sold at good discount as well! Speaking from hindsight: I should have bought a lot more of this set!
  41. My latest car antenna topper
  42. I couldn't find enough value in the annual pass to pay to re-up the one I got for the AZ Discovery Center. We went a lot in the first few months and then as time passed went less and less. Their selection wasn't full, although they did get the store exclusives that the regular LEGO shop didn't except online.
  43. He won't. He knows how serious I am about this stuff. But they are his already, I'm just trying to keep them contained. He can play with them but this way he has to ask for help to get them down and we can keep better track of where they are. I had a moment of panic last year after I gave him the Iron Man silver centurion and it was MIA within a day.
