Saw this MOC somewhere on the web and thought it was great so decided to recreate it...17 points

Silent Mary. Definitely not for everyone. Starts out as a mostly technic build. The hull is nice to build versus just putting together 5 solid pieces with a few technic pins in 30 seconds will have to see if the display of it grows on me. It is not a mirror symmetrical build so there are differences between the two sides. There are also "missing" pieces to give it that ghost ship appearance I think the only one I may have to add is the gold post that is part of the front railing. Not a fan of the breakaway mast and will probably mod that to be a little taller and fixed.8 points

I sold another Joker Steamroller this morning. Price isn't important. What is important is that now I'm down to only 41 left.3 points

This was my thought process as well if I decide to do it. I'd use it as a way to move some slow sellers at a decent price for the buyer, while still making a little profit. I'd probably put a few high dollar items in there as well to attract some of the high end collectors in the area. My sale would be strictly LEGO only, so not really a yard sale per se. I'd advertise it as such as well. Advertising on all of the Craig's boards in the surrounding areas, as well as on local Facebook groups a week or two in advance should get the word out and hopefully generate some traffic. I'd also have it the same weekend that my neighborhood has its annual neighborhood sale as well to take advantage of that foot traffic. I think it would be kind of fun.2 points

Ugh. Stupid autocorrect. Should be a good time. We've seen him now 5 or 6 times? We won the opportunity to meet him after the last show we were at. It was very cool.2 points

That's crazy to me. I had to quit my Very Competitive Men's Soccer League because I couldn't walk for 2-3 days after a game and that was a year or so ago still in my mid 30's. But same reason I decided to hang it up was due to having to play against college aged men that could run circles around me and I just couldn't fly as fast as them anymore without needed a long breather. Slightly different sports with non-stop vs play by play, but overall still takes agility, stamina, and determination. I miss it, but at the same time, enjoy walking and going up steps without pain and with a straight back vs bent. Hell, just getting out of a chair would sometimes be very painful until I was able to get past a certain point with my back. I literally had to start off crawling to loosen up sometimes. Best of luck coming out of retirement. Jordan did it, I'm sure you can too.2 points

I'm flying to Warsaw this Sunday for couple of days so if there is any interest among BrickPickers I can get couple of boxes to my check in luggage or I can buy bulk and dispatch with courier to London, which will be much easier for later distribution within mainland or western EU. I don't know how much of these are available right now in Store but I can estimate now in about 10-15 boxes. I'm coming back to London by 2nd of June. RPP for this set in warsaw lego store is eq of 25GBP If you are interested drop the line here or PM me. If You are from US, Australia or any other country and you are eager to pay shipping costs from UK - be my guest. https://brickset.com/article/28107/interesting-new-arrivals-in-certified-stores1 point

Went out to eat on Friday and came home to find that the dog had torn up a box and spread it all over the yard. This isn't really a new thing, she has gotten boxes out of the trash before. There was a bunch of yellow cardboard, which I couldn't think where that came from, until I got closer and realized that it was a Wall-E set I had ordered from AWD. She didn't stop at the outer shipping box, she proceeded to open the actual Wall-E box and then start opening the bags and spreading the pieces across the yard. In addition to that, she opened a separate box for another AWD order, a Micro Fighter Ghost and spread those pieces across the yard too. These were delivered when we were out and this was the first time she decided to open UPS packages. I was going to flip the Wall-E, but had to build it to see if I had found all the pieces. It ended up being all there, so now I'm displaying a Wall-E until I decide to sell it. The Ghost was all there too. Surprisingly, I didn't come across any damaged pieces on either set.1 point
