3 Lego volcano exploration @ Walmart $67.00 Plus over BrickFair I met the CEO of Lego and traded business cards.5 points

Tonight I finally finished off the UCS Tie Fighter while watching Episode IV. After sitting in my build pile since December, I decided to put it together doing 1-2 bags per night over the last week. Overall, I was very happy with the set. I'm not sure why such harsh criticism? Also, I disassembled and put away Technic set 42030 Volvo L350F Wheel Loader....primarily in order to make room for more SW UCS sets. UCS Slave 1 is up next.5 points

4 75049 Snowspeeder $52 each. Not bad considering I just picked them up a week ago.2 points

Those aren't clearance items. The clearance items are the ones on the main list that originally ended in .98. Sith Infiltator, Hurricane Heist, Jestro, Avenjet and First Order Transporter are clearanced. Everything else is just "Sale".2 points

My snow speeder arrived today. Corner was slightly crushed but r2 was in there so I'm happy. Bought a few things at TRU to celebrate their arrival. Oh crap, wrong thread.2 points

$75 for X-Mas isn't far-fetched at all. That's 6 more months of low ballers getting rid of their stock.2 points

Toys R Us Today: First off, this was my 2nd large haul off a sale, and for those of you who do this on the regular... hats off... it was exhausting haha (but a rush too) Picked up: x4 Dilophosaurus Ambush (75916) x1 Crossbones Hazard (76050) - (personal) x1 Avenjet (76049) - (personal) x3 Scuderia Ferrari Truck (75913) x3 4x4 Off Roader (60115) No Raptors, and someone snatched the last two Sith Infiltrators right as I was debating getting them. Now the fun part, I head to the register and for whatever reason, Dilophosaurus / Crossbones / Avenjet ring up correctly with price from website, but the Scuderia Truck and 4x4 do not... So we price match, then I apply for TRU CC and stack 15% off on top of that... However, the ones that the cashier price matched manually (scuderia and 4x4) did NOT deduct the additional 15% off... so we had to manually adjust them AGAIN. Now while this is happening and the line is growing angry behind me, my cashier calls over her manager for help and he sees my x3 Scuderia's and says "Oh crap, that's my order I am trying to fill for a customer". He then awkwardly asks me if I am reseller and tries to bribe me to leave 1 of the 3 behind so he can fulfill his customer's order. I politely say no (I did not rush out of work to then have my product guilted away from me). Well he then CALLS the customer right next to me and tells them "Sorry, another customer JUST purchased your sets", naturally the receiving person didn't seem happy. Overall, kind of awkward... Anyways, after all of that, she manually price matched everything and I paid with discounted GC from Rise I bought this morning with the MOM3 code. Worked like a charm. So sale price + 15% off TRU CC + discounted GCs > that 20+ minute transaction2 points

maybe he's just doing a public service by trying to mop up this endless lingering TRU-exclusive stock blocking these recently retired sets from enjoying the post EOL bump they so justly deserve. keep it up IronManDan!2 points

@Alpinemaps had the same thing after I had to reestablish my RewardsRUs account after it was hacked. Try doing it then go to your TRU account like you are going to buy something and update your TRU password to match your new rewards password. Worked for me.1 point

Here's a quote from an Amazon email, so I don't see how Amazon could make you eat the cost in this situation. Let us know how it turns out. "When you ship a seller-fulfilled (non-FBA) order using postage you purchased from Buy Shipping Services in Seller Central, we'll take care of the claim if the buyer reports the order wasn't received. You won't receive a notification on your Manage Returns page and your Order Defect Rate won't be affected."1 point

Apologies if this is posted elsewhere, I couldn't find a related topic. Anyway, this is now selling on Amazon here in the U.K. for £28. It's creeping up in price quite nicely.1 point

Sleuthing. Definitely respecting the VW. I saw the post the other day with the pic of the big and mini side by side and really wanted one. Wanted to see what you're asking for them.1 point

Thanks guys for the help here. I was able to successfully update everything. Pretty damn smooth and much faster than using the Bricklink interface.1 point

Warner Bros has announced a delay to its big screen revival of Scooby Doo. As you can read below, it first announced the film back in 2015, with Space Jam’s Tony Cervone directing. He was set to be joined by Dax Shepard, who recently helmed CHiPs for the studio. The new movie is set to be animated, and the project has been put back by two years. It had been set for release on September 21st 2018, but Scooby and the gang now won’t be back on the big screen until May 15th 2020. No further details on the project have been forthcoming. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more…1 point

I totally agree. I would pass on all of them. Well, maybe not the Ultra Agents stuff. edit: That's sarcasm. I don't wanna go to bed feeling guilty tonight from being told by a rookie he arm-swept all of the UA stuff.1 point

@scatttcatThis isn't true. I get rewards points for the full purchase price shown on the receipt, including the double points, as long as $1 goes on my TRU card. If nothing is put on a TRU card, you would still get the standard rewards points if paying in full or part with gift cards. One caveat is that you don't get double points the day you open your card and get the bonus 15%. You can only earn standard rewards points on that day. You can even get rewards points if you purchase from Toys R Us orders through eBay, Newegg, etc., with or without the TRU card. You just have to submit a missing points request for this with the invoice/order # shown on the packing slip once you receive the items.1 point

I know I shouldn't be resurrecting this thread, but I'm just too happy and need to post. As of this month, my collection of these marvel lego variant covers is complete. I believe I am the first person to ever have a confirmed complete collection of these. I have every single one that was released in both regular (1:25) and sketch (1:100) variants. Only the two at the top (Rocket Raccoon #1 and Marvel Universe: Avengers Assemble #1) never had sketch variants released.1 point

cleaned out of-the-way claremont nh Walmart which ******** identified as having a significant deposit of 50% off Star Wars LEGO and other sets I was interested in and in decent quantity. ended up being one of the rare times where the inventory at the store actually exceeded what was indicated online by 3-5 sets each. pro tip: it's nearly impossible for your wife or significant other to biy&h about your seemingly "out of control" lego purchases while skulking through the repetitive walk of shame from the garage to the storage room when her mouth is stuffed with fresh delicious pastry you brought into the house first. death stare is unaffected however.1 point

This morning I sold a used / complete 4842 Hogwarts Castle for $305/shipped on eBay. I purchased it a couple of weeks ago for $150 off of my local Offerup. I also purchased a used / complete 4195 Queen Anne's Revenge for $150 from the same person. The Hogwarts covers the cost of my initial buy in on this transaction, so whatever I sell the Queen Anne for will be pure gravy. I love finding local deals like these, as few and far between as they are.1 point

Another weird one. I have had 3 Brick Bountys on my Amazon site for months. Then in a 4 hour period on Friday night each of them sold to completely different buyers for $230 CDN each. This is great news, but I usually would increase the price a little after each sale and I didn't have time to do that with this blitz of activity. In to each life a little rain must fall. Was there some development in the pirating world I should be aware of? Seemed very odd to me.1 point
