  4. Cherry Hill BPers you guys are Slacking. Sorry to step on your turf but was up to visit parents and couldn't pass up 20% off a set that has been retired with the Beetle promo. Girl felt bad no MOAR Beetles left so gave me a friends promo on the 5th one.
  5. Good morning everybody, time for another Wild Wins Wednesday! No Doorbuster yet, but for a quick $1 doorbuster, check your Win It! app, make sure it has been updated recently, and look at the right top corner of the Win It! game grid. There should be a label saying "Bonus Game" with a Yellow circling star. Press it, then press the green button to start a bonus game. Gave me points, plus a $1 DB. (The green button was 75% hidden under a Google Ad that I couldn't remove, but still pressable).
  6. Bought 853552 Friends Hand Foot Fun for 50% off at a LEGO Store ($12.49.) Looks like this set came and went very quickly in 2016. Very little sales history on eBay, but how could I say no to a set called Hand Foot Fun?
  7. If the new UCS Falcon was $800 and significantly larger in pieces and more detailed, that would be very good news for LEGO and all of us.
  8. Just stick it somewhere discreet lol. I had the same issue with my Sandcrawler(exact piece too, except brown) and just stuck it on top as a hood ornament. I remember, that is a fragile beast.
  9. This pretty well sums up my trip to Star Wars Celebration Orlando.
  10. talk about a thread bump. i sold a few of these for $35 with a $9 buyin a year ago. the cavalry soldiers are swell and that white cowboy hat comes in handy for any dukes of hazard moc boss hogg, them dukes them dukes

  12. In for 3! Curious what the FBA storage fee is for these though...
  13. My Easter basket after the hunt. This particular target was definitely a hunt.
  14. a very long hold but happy i sold it and customer is happy
  15. 10179 99.9% restored. Just need to figure out where one light bley 3x2 left wedge plate goes. D'oh.
  16. Thanks to whoever tipped us off on Kmart PMing amazon. Hopefully they start doing that more often.
  17. Finally got to finish my Batpod 5004590. Managed to get all new parts, some were spares, others from Lego and bricklink, the dark pearl grey shield pieces from a small stack of breaze flee machines I found in TRU. Thankfully I sold the spare pieces in groups of 6 to help bring down the price of the build. Think it came in around 40ish quid.
  18. For everyone's information: This is targeted and you will receive the email if you are eligible. I like free money!
  19. Okay, I've triple checked the parts list I just created with the instruction manual and the parts list in the instruction manual. I posted the list publicly on Rebrickable here: CELEB2017 - Detention Block Rescue You can go on there and export the list to a Bricklink XML. Open it in a Text Editor, copy and paste it into the Bricklink XML box, and you'll have a complete want list. NOTE: Bricklink doesn't like the Stormtrooper helmets or Luke's had that Rebrickable has in their inventory, that should go for this set. So if you need those, you'll have to manually add them yourself. This should hold us over until Bricklink approves the set, and a couple of us can verify the inventory.
  20. Nope, not if your plan was to say buy a $45 item and use $5 in points to get it down to $40. I am no expert and still learning through the apprenticeship of studs like @MinifigW , @Phil B, and @Sfcommando14, but there are other methods to sweeten the deal so that you never use your own credit card on freelego.com. For example, on Monday I was able to get the 75156 Krennic Shuttle for $48.05 after tax with $49.57 back in points thanks to purchasing a GC through a certain affiliate.

Weird. It's there for me now. Yeah, don't let the wife know. Or my wife know. Because I'll be spending the new few weekends painting instead of doing the 10,000 other things on "the list."
  22. Recent Sales: Local: Dimensions Homer x4, Average of $13 each (Buy-in $2.50) Dimensions Scooby x3, Average of $15 each (Buy-in $2.50) Friends Little Foal, $6 (Buy-in $1) Ninjago Cole Airjitzu, $8, (Free TRU Promo) BL (my first sale): Avengers Tower, $69 ($10 buy-in at WM Clearance, have 4 left) eBay: Used At-At 75054, $199.99 (buy-in $70 on CL) Friends Jungle Rescue Base x2, $44 and $49.99 (Buy in $22 and $16.05) Really wish I was on the other side of the Amazon gate...have some great retired inventory that has appreciated nicely on Amazon.
  23. Wow, I don't understand why he didn't buy this, when it was available at retailers for $199.
  24. the latest lego ideas project to reach 10k votes has a very sad story to it. there is a good chance it will be picked regardless of the MOC designer's illness. it's a sound design that's not over complicated (elements, cost to market, etc...) and promotes better health (sun exposure in this case). https://ideas.lego.com/projects/155367 https://ideas.lego.com/projects/155367/updates
  25. Walmart has started their "Discount" program for picking items up. (Mods feel free to move this if there's a better place for it.). From what I am seeing, it doesn't apply to very many sets.
  26. Don't think so. You'd have been the fruitcake if she tried to counter and then you told her off for not understanding that no means no. At least your buyer waited until after you passed to unleash the pathos. I had someone on a classified app give me the Easter story up front with their low-ball offer. Which was still better than the person who made a low-ball offer and responded to my counter by repeating their original offer with a "please."
  27. I don't subscribe to anything.
  28. Garage sale. $35 for all 3 used sets. Inventoried them and 1 set is missing 1 piece. The sets were even disassembled and put into their proper boxes. Zero dirt or dust, built once. Extra pieces included. All parts, instructions in excellent condition, boxes nr mint. I've wanted to build this TIE for a while too.
  29. LEGO is a toy company, who benefit from their toys being collectible, but in the end want to sell toys. Yes, they are re-releasing some "classics", but only those which they think will have immediate, broad appeal and will sell past their production targets. I doubt they will start re-releasing more obscure sets as mentioned before. SW is hot right now, and unless LEGO has a commitment to resellers (which they don't) they would be stupid not to cash in and release a flagship set based on the flagship of the franchise. I often get the impression many of us here think LEGO is making short-sighted decisions, but I don't think they do. They have obviously factored all aspects of their appeal (both to kids and adults) into their product development, plus they are obviously aware of their status as a collectible product, and have many examples from other brands to look at and learn from. If LEGO thinks the time is right to make another MF UCS, I bet they have data to support it will sell well (compared with their targets). The "old" MF UCS will still have value, after all, it was the holy grail for so long, and if you collect you need that one. There might be a small bubble popping for those who bought at $2-$3k with the intent to resell, but for those who bought at retail there remains a nice amount of profit (granted, smeared out over many years) to be had. And if anything, the next holy grail is already out there, be it Taj Mahal, Grand Caroussel (though rumors on its replacement are also swirling), Green Grocer, etc. The thing is, the more people sour on investing in the larger sets (which is what I sense is happening right now), the more likely it is that in 5 years from now one of the currently retiring sets is the next UCS MF. Especially if TLG has to downsize their portfolio since the whole TLM surge in popularity is by now gone - some sets just won't be made again for a long time. Net, this is not the end of the road, just another inevitable change in the marketplace. Adapt or else ....
  30. you will get R2 from 29th.
  31. saw the batwing poly (30524) at B&N today as well. FYI.
  32. This is what I love. Even though the landscape has changed and so many people come out saying this set is taboo, others look at it as opportunity. Hopefully you make a fortune with your entrepreneurship
  33. Your total has to be over $40 before tax in order to receive $10 back.
  34. If those are Lego employees speculating then it will actually have no interior and cost 849.99.
  35. Knowing our luck they have all probably gone to Smyths Toys to sit out their retirement for the next 6 months
  36. I might have countered with the original $34.50 + shipping since it was already listed at that, but at the same time, I'm leaning to a "serves her right" for not just paying what you were asking. I wasn't sure if you were allowing Best Offers or if Bricklink even has that option, but I get really irritated being messaged offers on eBay when I don't list with that feature enabled. People say "worst case they say no," Well, you can piss'em off too.

I'm not seeing any May the Fourth threads (unless I'm blind, I don't browse these forums much) but I NEED your guys' help cause you're good with choosing when to buy things or something?? SO I've been putting off buying the Battle on Scarif set for a few months and I think now (or then, the sale) is the time to do it. Double VIP points, a free R2, and a possible discount? Wasn't there something like each day a set would be discounted? Anyone know which those'll be? I want to know the right time to buy it so I get as much free stuff and discount as possible.
  38. Not a lego deal but figured I'd share. After driving around for 6 hours I wanted a sub and saw this. Havnt been in awhile but can't beat free.
  39. Now that's how a true SYW magician rolls....
  40. I got a similarly ignorant question a couple days ago. I have the 4x mini-ties from the IAC listed for $20. The picture is of mini-ties, the description and title say it's only mini-ties. The person asks if the set is complete with instructions. I was polite, but really didn't want to be...
  41. Gymnastics Bar: 086-14-0556 The Police Car may be the same # but not sure.
  42. Someone on eBay bought a clearly listed Wii game from me and then sent me a message asking, "Is this game for the playstation vita?" Some people are some kind of special.
  43. Report him to eBay for trying to rob them out of their commission. That would get his account banned pretty quickly
  44. Love selling FBA and here are a few of my fave free tools: *** Keepa extension for Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/keepa-amazon-price-tracke/neebplgakaahbhdphmkckjjcegoiijjo?hl=en Keepa will show you the sales history and historic price, as well as Amazon's history on a listing, right on the product page automatically. Read the chart and find out that average sales rank which is far more useful than the current sales rank. *** How Many? extension for Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/how-many/fifaampimdjablpkjapdjehjcfloecjp?hl=en How Many? will display how much of each item your competitors have instock quickly and easily. 5 free uses per day. Want more? Purchase or simply re-install. Want to hide this info from your competitors using this app? Change the Max Order Quantity to the amount you want to show. *** Jungle Scout Sales Estimator: https://www.junglescout.com/estimator/ Very accurate and useful estimator to see how many units per month an item will sell for a given rank and category. Plug that average sales rank found from Keepa in and bingo. It is extremely accurate and they update it monthly to account for the changing traffic throughout the year. These are free tools we use ALOT. Have any others that you find useful then please reply and add them!
