My son and I built one of his birthday presents, 76059 Doc Ock's Tentacle Trap. It will go great with the Battle Bridge.

I wouldn't wait if you want to get these speed champs. The free beauty and the beast build is tomorrow and it's been advertised on Facebook all week, so I expect there to be more than the usual amount showing up for that. The price tag showing the "was $65" inflated price will make this look like an even better deal and they will probably go pretty quickly.

The set has been built for a while but we had an acrylic case (no bottom) made for it and the Tower Bridge. I know the plastic is still on... leaving it until it finds a home in our LEGO room. If anyone is curious, it's 1/8" acrylic made locally to my exact measurements. Big Ben's was just $50 and TB was $70 and they made them in three days after I paid. (Canadian funds so around $2 US )

TRU was showing few of the 75875 ford raptor & hot rod for $25 plus tax, but I wasn't sure if I should go to a location that was showing them possibly in stock or likely in stock. i went for the first one. They only had 3. $25 + tax each paid with 15% off GC. checked the TRU site within 30 minutes again. Pretty accurate.

I swear if any more resellers contact me about my CL listings and then try to explain to me why I'm doing things wrong and why I should sell them stuff for nothing, I'm going to agree to the price and I'm going to instruct them to meet at a parking lot at some shopping center out in the boonies. Then about 15 minutes after the meeting time I'll email them and say I got held up and I'll be there in like 20 minutes and then block their email.

My son was sick today (though not too badly) so in between work calls we built the Imperial Assault Hovertank 75152 together. He has a few Lego sets that he got as presents that he has been waiting to build with no sisterly help, so today was a perfect day for it in his mind. Not a great set from my point of view, but nice playability for him and decent minifigs.

Best I've got for you is $20 off $150 (Sears). Otherwise the $15 off $75 might be your best bet (yes, it's a KMart coupon but it'll work on Sears unless it's toys only - didn't check).

BrickSync is the solution. Basically makes BL your inventory, and gives you 2 storefronts (BO and BL). The person you asked this question of authored BrickSync, pay him the license fee I've sold sets on BO and BL, no difference.

and more fees. funded by amazon is just a smoke screen, sellers are paying for these scammers in more ways than one

I don't want to be a **** here, but please don't encourage this behavior. These people have zero intention of filling your order. We have 2 schools of thought on what they are doing: A.The popular belief on the Amazon Seller Forums is that these guys get enough orders that they clear some of the cash out and the rest is returned via A to Z (which is why they usually have every item priced at 9.00 or 13.00 or something dumb like that. They are able to do this because they are from other countries and have longer delivery times before people figure it out. They can set up fake "from" locations now, but the delivery times are still 1 month+ and B.The other thought is that they are doing something with your information as BA explained. The problem with both scenarios is it ties up your resources, encourages this behavior again, ties up Amazon's resources and, most importantly, makes it harder to sell on Amazon for us sellers. These guys just keep coming back again and again and again and it never ends. They are clearly getting something out of it or they wouldn't keep doing it. It also raises fees for everyone and is just a bad idea. Please don't help these guys. You are not going to get these products under any circumstances.

Had $130 in TRU rewards points that I wanted to use so I purchased a Parisian Restaurant and Palace Cinema and paid the balance with 15% gift cards. I can't make up my mind whether or not I will hold on to sell. I've got a Pet Shop stored away that I picked up when LEGO had them for $120. How do the modulars look built and displayed together? I am sure they are a great build experience. I can't make up my mind!!!! ?

Lots of fun theories regarding all the scam sellers on Amazon. A new one I read is that maybe employees inside Amazon are being bribed or perpetrating the scam themselves. I would say get me some popcorn, but this sh!t is costing me sales.

Get your BL store up and running. Then download Stragus' Brick Sync which can upload your Bricklink inventory to Bricklink Owl. Stragus, I love your program. I would not be on Brick Owl if not for you. Thank you! On difference between BL and BO. I'm only 6 weeks on BL and 4 weeks on BO. I've gotten more page views, but much fewer orders on BO. My BO orders have been larger, and the impression is that BO buyers are willing to spend more per piece.

It happens all the time due to all these scammers of late. Amazon pretty much deactivates anything when you are at 3x (or some number) of the lowest asking price for an item in the same condition. Just put in a min/max price you are comfortable with and move along. That is all you can do.

I'm sure this goes with the Beauty and the Beast build tomorrow at TRU.

I get about 50 orders per month on each marketplace. But there seems to be more "bulk" buyers and eBay resellers shopping on BrickLink, so the monthly sales are higher over there. On BrickOwl, make sure you have configured your shipping methods. BrickOwl customers don't expect nor want to request quotes.

Reporting back on this. Placed 3 separate orders. All 3 arrived today. One was taped, but the other two looked mint.

Hi everyone. Just thought I'd introduce myself. It's been many years since I've had anything to do with Lego but recently my Mum moved house and she handed me a box filled with all my childhood Lego. Surprisingly most of them are complete with instructions. With my son turning 6 next month I thought this would be a great chance to introduce him and get him hooked! Couple of pics of my collection below, most of them are from the 80s and early 90s. These are the complete sets for the moment, I still have to sort through a box of individual pieces and figure out what else I can put back together.

Why? I mean, wouldn't collectibility increase if the set used exclusive printed parts? We've seen in the past that sets with exclusive parts tend to fetch a high price. Seems to me like that would be better for investors too. Unless you are in the business of printing replica stickers...
