  1. I've been investing in sets for a few months, but last night I finished my first major build since getting back into Lego. I have a nocturnal baby and a three year old, so I typically only get through a bag of parts a night. Here is Red Five alongside the First Order Tie Fighter that hooked me back in. Now to build the UCS Tie Fighter.

  3. I thought I'd build my Lego Pirate Ships in anticipation of the Silent Mary coming out. I started buying one pair of the Black Pearl and Queen Anne, then another, etc.
  4. My 9 year daughter built this today.
  5. Over the last couple of days sold the following on fba: 30x 30522 Batman in the phantom zone for $9.18 each, buy in of $1.19 each 1x 41171 Emily Jones and the baby wind dragon for $24.99, buy in of $5 2x 31041 construction vehicle for $14.99 each, buy in of $3.50
  6. Voicing was excellent in this episode. Thought they did a great job reconciling Ezra and Luke existing and not tipping their hand with Ezra's fate. Left it open. I got the feeling Ezra isn't the first Jedi to visit Ben. Ben is hyper focused on Luke. He's the only solution to the Vader problem. So, makes me wonder. When Yoda says, "no, there is another" - it's not Leia and I don't believe it's Ezra. Makes me lean even more toward Rey.
  7. In the meanwhile, I have awarded coupon #8, for those still keeping count. Still about 4 people in the pipeline
  8. Three letters: WOW That was very samurai like fighting. He figured out the weakness of dual blades.

It is steady seller, some characters are doing very good Jay, Krusty, Scooby, Bttf, JW, Unikitty, Emmet, ...as for me....last 2 weeks getting slower but still OK...sold 500+ packs just from eBay listing and couple 100th cases in bulk...ppl keep buying, PM me if you want some for good price...got 12-14 characters left.
  10. Just caught up on this. Its is a better series than I expected and Chopper is brilliant.
  11. Kmart. $97 out the door.....and a gasoline coupon
  12. Baby starts sleeping is a myth. I have a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old hence its been 4 years since I've had any decent sleep unless of course I go away for business. Don't worry you build up a tolerance to lack of sleep!

  14. I think I just stumbled onto Dave Filoni's next animated series;
  15. Behind the scene vid. Beware there is a preview of next week finale at the end. Great scenes but obviously spoiler-y
  16. That music........... Glad I'm not the only one who felt that way.
  17. No kidding, that was great. Hard not to get choked up at the end.
  18. Deadpool and his helicopter from 6866
  19. Picked up a bunch of my $4-5 Battle packs, some $3 Fire Starter Kits and other stuff from my online orders. Plus two 41178 Dragon Sanctuarys for $25 each after $15 off coupons and $20 in points.
  20. That makes absolutely no sense.

I wouldn't buy any LEGO from anyone in Cincinnati anymore ....... wait, what?
  22. Luuuuuuuke!!!!!!
  23. Yeah, when Obi Wan was talking to Ezra he sounded like Uncle Ben from ANH as supposed to General Kenobi from CW (which I never liked )
  24. Indeed sir. My thoughts exactly.
  25. Up to 10 Rey's Speeder at an average of $7.90 each (sent one to a friend at cost). Helped that I somehow got multiple $8/45 SP offers (these are hot buys, my usual coupon shenanigans wouldn't apply)
  26. Just got back from a trip to London and picked up a bunch of 40220 Double-Decker Bus sets for 10 pounds each.
  27. Jokerland is a great addition to the Fairground sets. That was my reason to buy a few...
  28. REAL collectors will do the leg work to make sure they're not buying a fake item on eBay (not saying they can't be scammed). CHEAP collectors will buy the fake even when the listing says it's compatible with LEGO because they don't give a damn. To say one customer base (eBay vs Amazon) is more edumacated is totally ludicrous. Millions of people shop online now. They are all getting the benefits of googles years of search engine work to find marketplaces and cheap prices. "Uneducated buyer" is a total misnomer these days. Lazy is the word I prefer. Lazy people get scammed on all selling platforms. *edit - just to add that good buyers do get scammed but it's usually by a fraudulent listing rather than being too lazy to read the damn listing and has nothing to do with eBay vs Amazon *
  29. My wife and son just finished the Disney Castle. I've never been a "castle" guy but this set is impressive.
  30. My son built this today:
  31. I think you missed something on the box:
  32. Not sure if it's been mentioned, but there's a 20 points back on $40 promotion/coupon at Kmart. Could be a good deal with the new Star Wars sets. Additionally, the new sets aren't marked as Hot Buy, so you can stack additional dollar off coupons. I was able to get 2 Carbon-Freezing Sets, 75137, for about 45 with 20 in points back (had a 5 off 35 toys coupon I was also able to use). If you want to apply the coupons manually, just copy the code: Go to the mobile coupons page, copy long number string, paste in apply a code box. KMART MOBILE COUPONS Big Red Wheel Sweeps for $.50 each day Bonus Games - https://www.shopyourway.com/app/20750/l
  33. They probably all went in hard on Dragon Sanctuaries and left Exclusives the hell alone.
  34. £30 buyin and £1 FVF should answer your question, well that and people with literally 100s in stock. Sub £50 popular sets have become a turnover game.
  35. Built the Silent Mary ... Surprising easy build at about 3.5 hours total. The floating effect looks awesome at eye level and should make for a cool display set. The collapsible mast is a little flimsily and I am curious if it will get worse with time - I also have the chest printing error on the Jack Sparrow figure as others have noted. Overall really cool set and looking forward to the movie now!
  36. Yeah no fakes on Amazon it's great.
  37. Lego The Flintstones https://ideas.lego.com/projects/168661 Larger / more images here https://www.flickr.com/photos/127122511@N05/sets/72157677262635374 Once it gets 10,000 votes (it's over 1100 so far )LEGO reviews it, and it could be an official set.
  38. If it was my post with a picture explaining my question, I apologize. Next time message me so I understand what happened instead of just making it disapear, thus resulting in me wondering what happened and trying to post again. Also I dont know what a competing affiliate link is?

The Nebulon-B Frigate looks amazing. I have a few MOC's in the queue but I need to research the parts to see if I should build it. The Tie Defender looks excellent next to its cousins. Any other SW MOC's you have done? Almost all my MOC's have been in the Technic world except for the AT-AT I did last week.
  41. I think everyone is missing the point. This is a movie. The ship looks like that. Lego made it to look like that. Take off the "I want a complete ship goggles" THEN look at it. Maybe they will release other ship based sets but this is based on a movie not a legit pirates theme..... I think they did well It's like commenting on the UCS snowspeeder thread and saying "uhhh pass I wanted the UCS At-At"

Lol at these ads. But, on a side note, I've actually shipped out two SSD's on CL transactions. I demanded to be paid via gift, which both agreed to. Worked out fine for everyone.
  43. We've been building a lot lately. My 4 year old built 60053 Race Car
