IF this is a legit situation and with that many of 1 set, it could be legit... It would be too tempting to not at least TRY to take possession of them all. One approach would be to go to the dept/store manager and say "Hi, I can solve your problem...", hand them my card and tell him this is what I do and that I can take them all off their hands right now if they can do a little better on the price (always ask for more!) It's not the norm for them to negotiate on the spot, but in my (limited) experience once a manager is willing to take a loss on an item, they're willing to make deep discounts. They just want the shelf space back. My hit rate in those situations is tiny, but when it has worked I have gotten 60%,70%+ off, and lots of product at once. The last time I tried his was 2 days after Christmas at Walmart. I was trying to buy 20+ of one $90 set marked 50% off and I was told by the toy dept manager "no, I can't because our store manager is (miffed) at me because we lost our (butt) selling 75 bicycles at a loss yesterday." Target can be goofy on multiple items, and stores are often shackled on price by corporate, but for 100 sets with a $9000 RRP for $2000, I'm going to try to work a deal!
