My daughter and I spent the morning building the Pop Star Tour Bus and I am overjoyed with how happy she is with this set! My wife and I were not sure about the size of it (it seemed small) until we saw it fits nicely in the lane on a road plate. Thanks Brick Picker for showing me the light of not having to pay retail prices (got it for $35)! I spent the afternoon building the UCS Slave I. It seems much smaller and less detailed that I thought it would be. Oh wait, that is the 2016 Star Wars Advent calendar version...

Yeah...had I known that Target would be giving this set away by the pallet load I would have let them sit. My average buy in is $58 (36% off). I'm in for the long haul, unless I start bundling with other TFA sets when they all become a little more scarce. Phasma was the main reason I liked this set, but a re-release in an upcoming set is probable. Live and learn. Maybe I can pair these with my Joker Steam Rollers...just a thought.

I am well aware that the UK is not in the US. But if I could find these at a discount in November, I would take a look at the cost of shipping a pallet of them to sell here. Just wondering where he envisions these being sold so cheaply, so I can look into it.

After this Target situation I have a feeling that the ones I purchased on clearance from Shopko last summer are going to end up in a bundle. Might be the only way for me to move them now.

Kings mech is a Walmart exclusive here in the sets and sold out pretty quickly at 20% on shop at home. Already at close to $40 on fba.

IMO, having a new 10030 w/o the box puts you in a sweet spot (as it is ideal for someone who is looking to build a new one, while also being able to save them a couple hundred dollars+). Prices on rare sets can fluctuate, but when you look to sell - you can price it just under the lowest priced new & sealed one w/ the box (on whichever selling platform you use), and expect to get some nice offers from those who don't care about (or realize the value) of the outer box.

As long as it's complete with all bags in the inner boxes sealed you should get a pretty penny for it. $1000 easy. Probably a bit more. Nice minty instructions are a bonus as well.

Not available at Legoland FL yet. The Disney store is a regular LEGO store so I believe not there either.

Agreed. My wife bought us tickets to see Billy Joel at Lambeau Field this summer. It's going to be an amazing time and an incredible atmosphere. Can't wait.

I was in a small town in the Fenlands this morning and saw this 'interesting' shop window display. I thought there may be a collection of retired Lego sets inside, but no such joy. The window collection was all they had. I did consider the Ninjago 70734, but the box had sun discolouration. And the Toy Story 3 box was damaged with a thumb size hole in it (top right of Disney logo). I half expected to see a tumbleweed blow across the road as I turned away!
