I just want to say thanks again for letting me win a raffle. We just finished the Assembly Square, and this is probably my favorite 10 bricks ever in a set. The upper floor apartment is stacked with goodness.

Been looking to build a UCS AT-AT for awhile but Moc's have been too expensive with their rare parts, until the one Raskolnikov built. It's a great looking model. I have changed a few pieces and will be getting some 2x2 round tiles to put in a few places. Sorry for poor phone photo.

Quick update: I just got home with the bins. They weigh over 100 pounds and are very clean. So far, there are very few Mega Bloks and I have already confirmed a few sets from themes including Star Wars, Lego Movie, City Arctic, Scooby Doo, and Super Heroes. I am looking forward to sifting through all of this over the next few months. What I can't figure out will be great for free building. Thanks for your help. I will keep you posted on what I find!

I managed to get a Raptor Rampage and a Livi's Pop Star House at B&N. Though they were not on sale, I did get a GC from Raise and a 10% membership discount, bringing the price down to ~$95. Not the deal best or purchase ever, but I least I did not pay full price for these retired/hard to find sets. Discounts on sets like these are hard to find or non-existent where I live. This is the same as about 40 other auctions I have seen, the Red 5 X-wing £14.99, IST £14.99 and a few other things. I think they are managing to find old unused 100% historic feedback accounts to hack and maybe keeping the value low to avoid detection from Ebay but going down the quantity route rather than 1 high value.

I wouldn't be surprised if this thing hits $160-180 by halloween 2017 . i will begin to unload once we are north of $160. i'm surprised its doing as well as it is and kicking myself that i didn't buy a few more when shop at home had the scooby pack including this set and mystery machine on sale last year when there were promos. with sale and promos, it was over 30% off.

This theme best shows the effect that the horde of "min-emazers" had on overall LEGO investment performance. Everyone started piling in on the large exclusives (which have not performed so well), and started ignoring the small/medium sets (which comparatively, have done so much better)

Everyone was very excited when the Exo Suit was announced and they bought accordingly.

One thing I see from thread to thread is the demand for Lego in EU and other places is not the same for the US. I doubt I would even buy anything for resell if I lived outside the US. It's completely different here. Not saying the buildables are huge sellers but most Target, Walmart, etc. Have had limited quantities after the holidays. I know TRU has tons of them (minus obi/GG) but that's TRU for you... I think the best is GG and I have roughly 40 of them and buy in was 9 dollars on half them and rest 15-17 dollars. I'm not worried at all. As I've said before and it's the same for brickheadz if I want to complete a series it's a lot easier to do so with these and brickheadz than buying 600 SW sets from over the years. The market is changing and I feel people who have been doing this for awhile don't know how to deal/handle it. I know every comment is bubble talk but still...everyone is worried about remakes wellllll go with themes that more likely won't have remakes for a long time (SH, These, brickheadz, etc) I think these will do well. Not great. Not 500% return. If I can buy something at 9 and sell it for 40-50 I'm happy...rinse/repeat. The theme for 2017+ should be "buy in" and not so much what set you bought. Some will do better than others but overall it's the most important thing (if you ask me) These seem to keep getting better and better and that will make there be a demand in the future to have complete sets. I have all of them and 10-50 of each one. There will be a market for these...maybe not huge but with enough of you hating on these I'll turn a good profit lol... A bit of a mix of different things but wanted to express it in one post...

I have grabbed a few due to price. Luke for $6 will turn a profit easily I think. They won't be big gainers though, I agree. K2SO could maybe be a sleeper if it was discounted enough. That is a cool one and looks great sitting here on my desk.

Man the box really doesn't make the ship look all that flattering. And what's with the falling over mast? maybe it has a movie tie-in, but it certainly takes away from the look of the ship for promotional purposes. The bent bow also doesn't really show all that well. Anyways just nitpicking; i already know i'll be getting this and adding to the fleet, i think it will look great next to the other POTC ships. Getting 2 zombie sharks is just icing on the cake for me! Edit: Mast falling over thing just made sense to me; with the bow bent the front mast would probably be very close if not touching the middle one. Sooo knock it over and hope it looks good for box artwork i guess?
