Ok, first this set is just on it's way out and probably won't dry out until end of april. That's not out of the norm for a lot of Star Wars sets. A few years back, people were still getting Republic Gunships, AT-TE's, and many other sets into late spring, and those sets are close to triple the buy-in. Same could be said for sets in 2012 like the X-wing, and MF.
Second, the retired Force Awakens sets have something going for them.. The new movie is out later this year and that will spike demand for the previous sets, and by then there will be a scramble by the non-collecting afol-in-waiting, but just re-inspired hoarde to go and purchase sets like the FO Tie Fighter, this set, Leia's ship, the x-wings, MF, etc. By then those sets will be hard to find. That's why I think it could be a good bet to stock up now on TFA sets, because Lego is going to be having their hands full on producing this years winter wave, the upcoming summer wave, the last jedi and the Han Solo movie sets! The Force Awaken sets are heading out.
Here's the other great thing. It was recently announced by Star Wars.com that the Han Solo movie will stay with a memorial day release date, which means it will come out 6 months after the Last Jedi. This is a good thing, because Lego will not be producing a lot of redundant sets for the Last Jedi, since they will be moving on to the Han Solo movie. The Last Jedi will see 7 sets for the September 1st launch, then maybe a handful of battle packs and a few other sets in winter, before the Han Solo film takes the stage. New sets from the Force Awakens and Rogue One might not happen after this summer until perhaps summer of 2018. It will be a good time to be a flipper.
