  1. I'm not sure what you see? Daily LEGO and bubble gum Deals - USA
  2. Found footage of @exciter1 after a corndog/hubba bubba marathon.
  3. Yeah feel free to dump those loser SUPER Star Destroyers 10221. I will take them all at cost.
  4. Built a used 10212 UCS Imperial Shuttle that I picked up for $230 with shipping a couple weeks ago. What an impressive set. I knew it was a large set but it always seems bigger when it sits in the dining room table. Had all minifigs no box no instructions. I can cross this set off my list.
  5. I found a HL Mall for $54 at the WM near the spot I picked up a $30 Ultrasonic Raider MISB. I was feeling so good I paid full price for 4x TLBM figures to appease my children.

New to BP but not Lego. As a kid I grew up with the old school space ships and what not (not like what they have today). I ended up with a decent collection by the time I shipped out to bootcamp but while I was gone my Grandmother passed my collection on to my younger cousins. By the time I found out it was too late, so I moved on. Well fast forward a few decades, I have a son who has taken an affinity for Lego as well . While researching I came across BP and while I don't usually join forums, or communities, I couldn't help but notice how nice everyone is to each-other - you know, compared to the rest of the Internet - so I couldn't help but join and say hello. Looking to do some investing (I don't mind sitting on a set for a year or two and I have an attic ) and obviously collecting. So, were the December Lego sales normal for that time of year? To me it seemed like there were 30% - 40% off deals to be had everywhere, and I got to learn the UPS guy's first name. LOL
  7. Lego reselling is dead!
  8. 75101 C2C at SAH, this might be the start of more TFA sets to go...
  9. Forgive me if it has already been posted: LEGO Shop at Home has Disney minifigures reduced to $3.19 (not a huge deal but $0.80 can add up with large quantities) limit 18 per order https://shop.lego.com/en-US/The-Disney-Series-71012 Someone else already pointed out Seasonal Elf and Santa reduced to $5 (they are still available online) https://shop.lego.com/en-US/LEGO-Little-Elf-Helpers-40205 https://shop.lego.com/en-US/LEGO-Santa-40206 And of course the new Batman Movie CMF's are available (regular price) https://shop.lego.com/en-US/THE-LEGO-BATMAN-MOVIE-71017 Batwing poly is available for free with purchases of $35 or more
  10. Definitely not normal but not uncommon. After sending in many shipments we have figured out amazon's fulfillment system and have never lost a single shipment or had a package sitting in receiving for more than a day even in the busy holiday season. Take note of what center you are shipping to, whether or not it is a fulfillment center or a distribution hub, and how you send it there (usps, fedex or ups). The carrier you choose makes a huge difference. At some centers UPS will drop off right at the dock and your items will get checked in and available to sell within hours while for the same location FEDEX will drop off in the yard and your items can sit for a 7-10 days before being checked in (and vice versa at other centers). FEDEX is normally cheaper but if you need that box checked in ASAP and you know the UPS guy is going to land it at the right spot then it is worth the extra few dollars during Q4. Play around with times and numbers to get the shipments you want and lock them in months in advance. As for the ASIN issue I have never had any problems like that but we don't seem to sell alot of the same sets as other folks on this board that have problems. The majority of stuff we do sell are new products, bundles or multipacks that we create and control the listings for. Obviously that strategy won't work for most lego items but my entire point was to diversify as much as possible on the platform (and I don't mean megabloks or SW toys).
  11. Do not buy any sets with the word "Super" in front of it.
  12. And in case anyone doesn't know, Citi credit cards have price protection. You have to initiate price rewinds for each item. But if there's a lower price within 90 days at any retailer, they'll return the difference to you. It's worked with 3rd party seller prices on AMZ as well, not just name brand stores.
  13. For the past three years, I've created a huge collection of labels to help organize your LEGO bricks, and it now has nearly 1000 labels! 15. I'm sure you guys saw a 2nd poly pic was leaked, another Droid? Rumors are these will be part of a series of polys.

Thats all good but can you stick it in the right thread please.
  17. Of course. It's just insane that someone would pay that much for a polybag that will be available shortly.
  18. information for folks out there. target & TRU ban now extends to target-ebay and TRU-ebay as well. [i.e. any order you place at target-ebay and tru-ebay will be cancelled as well ] be careful with what you do but looks like its going to be very very hard to keep the buying privilege alive if one is reselling.
  19. What does all this have to do with Architecture? We have a thread for UK / EURo market discussion and another one about the UK exchange rate. Could a mod please move this discussion there so we can speculate about the Arc de Triomphe and Guggenheim?
  20. I figured that video was gonna go in a different direction. A browner direction.

  23. This.....the OCD in me is screaming about the 16, 18 and 20 fig sets......
  24. I think that's a YMMV question depending on how you make and track your purchases. But here's what's involved. You can go on the price rewind website, search for and add the items you've bought. You add the price, date, and location of purchase. And upload proof of purchase with that credit card which can be a receipt picture or PDF'd email. Or you can manually submit requests by mail or email with the same information plus the lower price you found, the vendor, proof of purchase with card, and dated lower price. Printed webpages work as long as you have the date and link in the header/footer. There are $500/item and $2500/yr caps and some exclusions apply. https://www.citipricerewind.com/guide I'm happy to answer other questions in PM rather than derail the thread more.

  26. I have to share this one! Hubba Bubba Bubble Gum Tape, Awesome Original, 6-Foot Tapes (Pack of 24) - Add on - $5.84 Amazon
  27. Saw those in Target the other day. Buying 2 gives you room for 16 figs, but there are 20 unique ones. D'Oh!
  28. Not sure if it has been posted earlier but I came across the last Ideas Maze set in my area today. Marked down to $55.98. Going to go back and price match the ones I got a week ago. Will end up with two for less than the original price of one. Not bad on a retired set.
  29. For personal use, sure why not. For investment I'd wait. It will most likely see deeper discounts in the future, and will be a good candidate to see at least 50% off clearance at Walmart or Target down the road.

  32. Ok then why torment yourself by coming here. Just sell all your stuff and try something else or just enjoy life without the added stress. Edit, unless this was a sarcastic comment. Hard to tell.

Welcome! Like you it was buying for my son that pulled me back into LEGO. Castle was my favorite (second to classic Space back then). Joining BP was a great move if you want to save money (or spend far more than you intended buying more than you intended )

    Picked up a 31036 for 29,99€ today
  35. Well you are making me look very bad so I am now buying another ten tickets! And I will mention your name to the Lord when I ask him same.
  36. "Alright, now although what the previous agent stated was 100% correct and we really should never be doing post order price adjustments but I will do this as a one time exception. I will be refunding the $15.48 price difference back to a gift card balance on the account." You just have to be persistent and persuasive. It's a terrible policy. It would cost Amazon more money for me to return it and repurchase (in this particular case there is no quantity limit than anyone has observed). Didn't mean to hijack the Deals thread. Carry on.

Sandcrawler is looking more and more like the Exo-Suit of exclusives. Mine have been slowly crawling back to Tatooine via the returns process, making space for faster movers, like Pet Shops.
  38. Not sure I like it enough. Was in Lyon for business and checked the local store. They had plenty and showcased in the window. Looks expensive for a modular with a bite in. Anyways, couldn't resist asking for a Trevi Fountain as they will have a far higher IRR anyways. The store manager told me the archtecture set was phased out, just like every architecture set will be rolling over every 6months! Nothing left in stock. I could barely keep the poker face ?. Retirements chaining every 6 month !!!! Imagine that!
  39. How big are you looking for?

Outta sight like a kite, pound bass love lace, notes low down blow, each beat sizzle street. Nah mean, cool bean?
  41. I may be on an island here, but I really hope it is not these hideous things! And I'm a Funko Pop guy! I just personally think they look ridiculous. The problem is...I can't come up with anything else that it could be for a new theme. To me, the blockheads are not a new theme, they're still Super Heroes. More of a sub theme. Unless of course they branch out into Star Wars characters, or other licensed themes.
  42. Wow seriously? That was an acceptable packaging job? The post men/women in EU must be more gentle than their US counterparts
