  4. Lucked into these the other day. Just delivered...
  5. The snow globe is probably my favorite freebie of all time. Very creative set.

Duel on Naboo makes Ass on Hoth look like a UCS set.
  7. Come on, at least try to sell locally at cost! It's due to this kind of abuse that retailers dislike customers buying large quantities, and they try to prevent us from doing so. They could also flag you as a "problematic" customer eventually. This is a fantastic set for Technic parts and, from my experience, we only see that kind of deal once every couple years.
  8. Decent deal on Obi-Wan at Sam's Club.
  9. 1x pet shop / globe / 2x VIP 1x Parisian / globe / 2x VIP 1x detective / globe / 2x VIP 1x palace / globe / 2x VIP All separate orders.
  10. Agreed. It's hovering around $35 right now. @Bold-Arrow should be able to get at least $75 for it.
  11. shouldn't be, its basically just a preview weekend where they give double points and the promo. Was the same last year as well on the weekend preceding the BF/CM sale.
  12. I'm glad i've brought zero of this set after seeing this: http://www.hothbricks.com/2016/11/nouveautes-lego-disney-frozen-palace-pets-2017-quelques-visuels/
  13. The new batman movie sets would be nice.
  14. One of Lego's 2016 Holiday promotions is now available now, the much anticipated 40223 Snowglobe set. This available is considered "Early Access" for VIP members in the U.S. and Canada. 15. Hancock and Willis from Chicago and the Empire State Building from NYC are excellent models. These all surpass their standalone models significantly. I might make standalone display bases for each of these.
  16. Brickset make quite an important point for resellers (taking into account recent events e.g Darth Revin). There is no year marked on the box so it could come back at some stage. http://brickset.com/article/24655
  17. I understand that. I'm not going to order a keychain that I don't want just to get the free promo item faster. I can wait until the item I wanted is in stock to get it shipped
  18. Quick flip opportunity. Flipped a few already for £70. That along with an Indominus Rex helped to exceed the £125 min spend required for all the freebies including the Lego Retail Store.
  19. Remember when people used to play the F5 game? That's so 2014
  20. Jack pot! Gotta get rid of them fast. Maybe the next GWP?

    That Admiral Thrawn!
  26. I ordered my first 2 trains, some Santa's, one Elf Helpers, and Droid Troop Carriers. @pstebbing was trying to talk me into 3x Pet Shops. Not sure yet if I'll go back for more. Maybe if some of these ship and I get my points.
  27. i ordered a VW beatle for personal build & one promo to build. I ordered 2 architecture white houses to get another promo to sell. barnes and noble is starting to run low on these around me and its listed as retiring soon at european shop at home

New AT-ACT reminds me of new Captain Rex's AT-TE... I dumped my old 75019 AT-TE's last January (sold FBA for about $168) when I heard about the new one coming out. Now the old 75019 is about $190 FBA (up 13% from $168). Brick Picker price guide shows a 20% increase since last January. I thought the 75157 would flat-line the old AT-TE, but Cap'n Rex's scrap-yard monster is NOT the same as the old AT-TE. For the collector (or rich kid) who wants a Hoth AT-AT, a new AT-ACT will not be acceptable.
  29. A lego employee told me it would live long and prosper. YMMV.
  30. A lego employee said it would back in December. What more evidence do you need that it´s done?
  31. I finally scored one! I already had it in my cart from yesterday so I just kept refreshing my cart until it allowed me to place the order.
  32. Bleh on the infiltrators. Had the previous one and it didn't do so hot. Better sets elsewhere.
  33. Big thumbs up to the community for helping this guy out!
  34. A friend and I built these a few days ago out a lot of used Lego I picked up awhile back. I had a few new sets of both, I just have a hard time breaking the seals, so this worked great.
  35. 3 x Imperial Shuttle Tydirium from Tesco 342 , new investor so small steps to begin with.
  36. My mother-in-law hit a Goodwill store opening. $10 Friends Amusement Park and $20 Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty. Slightly damaged boxes, but who cares these will be built

So far, the Y-wing, the 2 battlepacks and the Assembly Square are the only things I look forward to in 2017....
  38. I bought City: Utility Shuttles to go with the Sith Infiltrator, TRUST, $10 gift card, chicken suit guy, A-Wing pilot, discount gift card and I got the Star Wars scavenger hunt figures early. My son has a basketball game at 1pm. The Stormtroopers are just in a baggie and a free poster.

1st Jan, maybe at Sah a few day earlier.
  40. My Walmart brought this out early. The upc scan on the box says not for sale but when I scanned the white $30 sticker on the front of the box, it went through
  41. 3 Raptor Escapes in the last week.... $120 CDN plus shipping. Not great, but I also recently discovered I had double what I thought I had so I need to lighten the load. That's what happens when you buy and stack things off in a corner I guess. Sales were so slow on eBay in August and September.... The last three weeks have picked up. Yay for Xmas shopping season.
  42. 600 sellers on Amazon?
  43. Cast Away (2000) IMO, Tom Hanks' best performance to date.
