  2. Picked up a Lester from the new Lego Store in Leicester Square, London, yesterday, no. 154 of 275. I also got a Yellow Submarine, signed by the set designer, plus one of the new London Skyline sets.

  3. It's hilarious that anyone on this site would think these people are greedy for selling their Lesters for as much as they possibly can.

  4. Lucked out and was in London today for the grand opening of the world's largest Lego store. But my luck didn't hold for the Lester minifigure. Everything on the left was free. Focused on hard to find and not available items in the states to hit the price threshold for all the freebies.

  5. My mother-in-law hit a Goodwill store opening. $10 Friends Amusement Park and $20 Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty. Slightly damaged boxes, but who cares these will be built

  8. A friend and I built these a few days ago out a lot of used Lego I picked up awhile back. I had a few new sets of both, I just have a hard time breaking the seals, so this worked great.

  11. Lion Chi temple for 190 on ebay, after 1 day of being listed. I should have bought 100 of these, 200%+ return easy, paid 49-59 bucks each.

  12. Yup just ordered (3) off eBay today for $30 ea. since I didn't have any yet. It's fine. Better to acquire now than to scramble when the pickins are getting thin I guess. Congratulations. That has to be the most disturbing gif to date on BP.

  14. On Amazon FBM sold a 79008 LOTR Pirate Ship Ambush "Collectible" (sealed box but notably damaged) for $99.95 + $10.45 expedited shipping. My luck buyer was cross-country, so Priority Mail cost >$19... after fees cleared $6 profit... a wopping 9% on my investment. :/

  15. I've seen this reason before, but it seems kind of weak. Unless that hat is different than the typical bowler, that was produced in 2014 so it's not like it's a mold from the 80s. I'm surprised how cheap TLG is sometimes. You're opening a flagship store, break the bank and have a factory make you 5,000 $.01 bowler hats.

  19. Stay calm. If you've sent them a return shipping label as you indicated, you have done everything you can at this point. Do not continue to go back and forth with this buyer. They are obviously very upset and it seems nothing you can do will make this right for them. Just wait for them to return the item, inspect it, then refund them in full if everything is received. If they trash the item, you can charge an appropriate restocking fee (see Amazon guidelines). If they file an a-to-z claim, you will represent your side with specifics/dates stating you authorized a return, sent the buyer a prepaid shipping label, and offered a full refund upon return of your item.

  20. He would be subjecting himself to an A-Z claim , ding to his metrics and potentially loss of product . Best move is a pre-paid label at this point I think u need to rethink that . No disrespect to Ex1

  25. I've just finished James Luceno's book, Catalyst. He's written a number of decent SW books. It was alright as a SW book goes. At least now I know the full backstory of the Erso Family and their buddy Krennic going into the film. No Vader or Emperor except being mentioned. Highlights were the Death Star stuff and the few chapters Tarkin was in. Main story takes place from just before ROTS to about 4 years after that.

  29. Stopped by Walmart on my into work for some coffee creamer and to my surprise found a 75155 for $30, box is a little mangled. Funny thing is no Walmart within a 100 mile radius was showing this in stock for $30.

  32. There are, but these are really easy and quick sellers in my local CL area. Worst case scenario is a quick flip for $20/each profit with minimal work. Scatter in a few ebay sales and it can be a ~$1,000 venture, which is good for a small dude like me.

  35. Same price in store. Grabbed 4 as separate orders for the chicken guy and a-wing mini figures and added enough to hit $75 for the $10 gift card on each.

  36. Personally, I would offer a return and not a price adjustment. I have been on the receiving end of a seller who THOUGHT he was on the receiving end. Received a LEGO set via FBA (with seller's sticker, so I assume not commingled inventory, not sure how that works) that was previously opened and resealed with tape. I opened it and guess what...not everything was there, bags were open, etc. I return. Seller receives return and claims I was defrauding him. I was not amused. Lesson: please check your seals when buying originally and then re-selling.

  37. Meat market On snow plows? Selling on eBay for $30 plus ship, im not the cheapest so I'm not sure why they go so fast. Yes sir Sold 2 today within couple hours of listing them.

  38. It's a TRU exclusive though, so only TRU and the SAH have this available. If you price match in store, add the chicken guy minifigure and an extra $8, you can get the $10 gift card to use later. Overall, not a bad deal.

  39. I suggest you read up on the relevant threads and see what the general opinion is. Do your own research as well: don't follow the horde blindly and take every bit of "advice" over here with a couple of grams of salt. In the end it's your money, so you need to decide if it's worth spending or not. That being said, Jurassic World is a pretty solid theme and there's another movie coming out in 2018.

  42. Is it just me or are all the Amazon listings a bigger mess than usual this year? I've been looking through products and it seems like so many of them have two major listings with 80+ sellers, sometimes the listing with almost no reviews is the one with the most sellers. I'm guessing this is some attempt to bypass gates or inability to sell in Toys, just seems far worse to me than I remember in the past.

  43. Its retired everywhere else in the world except for North America. EOL is imminent. I wouldn't be surprised if we get some blowout online sales since the actual end market is completely saturated , walmart, target and TRU all have stock in warehouses for shipping and retailers will be motivated to clear remaining stock as the theme is discontinued. if shop at home puts this set on sale + double VIP during the snow globe promo, it will be a very attractive purchase target (at least for me). and I already have 17. raaaarrrrghhh!

Her teacher is on the right and she is giving that to her and I made my son in the left also (he is still a brown belt but I could not find a brown belt figure) i could not find any light brown girl faces? Maybe I should change my sons to yellow too
