Picked up a Lester from the new Lego Store in Leicester Square, London, yesterday, no. 154 of 275. I also got a Yellow Submarine, signed by the set designer, plus one of the new London Skyline sets.

It's hilarious that anyone on this site would think these people are greedy for selling their Lesters for as much as they possibly can.

Lucked out and was in London today for the grand opening of the world's largest Lego store. But my luck didn't hold for the Lester minifigure. Everything on the left was free. Focused on hard to find and not available items in the states to hit the price threshold for all the freebies.

My mother-in-law hit a Goodwill store opening. $10 Friends Amusement Park and $20 Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty. Slightly damaged boxes, but who cares these will be built

On Amazon FBM sold a 79008 LOTR Pirate Ship Ambush "Collectible" (sealed box but notably damaged) for $99.95 + $10.45 expedited shipping. My luck buyer was cross-country, so Priority Mail cost >$19... after fees cleared $6 profit... a wopping 9% on my investment. :/

I've seen this reason before, but it seems kind of weak. Unless that hat is different than the typical bowler, that was produced in 2014 so it's not like it's a mold from the 80s. I'm surprised how cheap TLG is sometimes. You're opening a flagship store, break the bank and have a factory make you 5,000 $.01 bowler hats.

Stay calm. If you've sent them a return shipping label as you indicated, you have done everything you can at this point. Do not continue to go back and forth with this buyer. They are obviously very upset and it seems nothing you can do will make this right for them. Just wait for them to return the item, inspect it, then refund them in full if everything is received. If they trash the item, you can charge an appropriate restocking fee (see Amazon guidelines). If they file an a-to-z claim, you will represent your side with specifics/dates stating you authorized a return, sent the buyer a prepaid shipping label, and offered a full refund upon return of your item.

He would be subjecting himself to an A-Z claim , ding to his metrics and potentially loss of product . Best move is a pre-paid label at this point I think u need to rethink that . No disrespect to Ex1

I've just finished James Luceno's book, Catalyst. He's written a number of decent SW books. It was alright as a SW book goes. At least now I know the full backstory of the Erso Family and their buddy Krennic going into the film. No Vader or Emperor except being mentioned. Highlights were the Death Star stuff and the few chapters Tarkin was in. Main story takes place from just before ROTS to about 4 years after that.

I think we need to be reasonable here folks.

There are, but these are really easy and quick sellers in my local CL area. Worst case scenario is a quick flip for $20/each profit with minimal work. Scatter in a few ebay sales and it can be a ~$1,000 venture, which is good for a small dude like me.

I'm thinking about skipping this year. Soooo many brick boxes out there right now, large ones too.

Hate, to say it I have built bots to buy in the past. Since All Lego people are Good People, I like sharing! I have never published any scripts to robo buy because people are scared someone might embed something in them, and I don't know how "right" it is. I suggest you read up on the relevant threads and see what the general opinion is. Do your own research as well: don't follow the horde blindly and take every bit of "advice" over here with a couple of grams of salt. In the end it's your money, so you need to decide if it's worth spending or not. That being said, Jurassic World is a pretty solid theme and there's another movie coming out in 2018.

My buy in on IST's before the Quidco cashback is £38 each so I'm not too worried about its future. I think I'll be OK

you're covered, just let it run its course and they will side in your favor if escalated. Any feedback left if negative will be removed automatically as well and they will email you that as well. Only other tip I would verify is the delivery zip code is the same one as on ebay. That is only way you could possibly lose in that situation. As long as zip matches you are good. paypal would not matter as its a resolution request through ebay and they are separate companies now. Back when they were together you could contact either. Now you contact whichever the case is through. If it was a paypal complaint or charge back then you would fill out the info and could call them if you would like as well.

Its retired everywhere else in the world except for North America. EOL is imminent. I wouldn't be surprised if we get some blowout online sales since the actual end market is completely saturated , walmart, target and TRU all have stock in warehouses for shipping and retailers will be motivated to clear remaining stock as the theme is discontinued. if shop at home puts this set on sale + double VIP during the snow globe promo, it will be a very attractive purchase target (at least for me). and I already have 17. raaaarrrrghhh!

Woke up to $10 surprise points on $15+, $3 on $3+ and $5 on $5+. Took me ages to get stuff purchased though, the websites tried throwing up all sorts of hurdles. - KMart is back to giving me the annoying "Sign in" button in my points overview, effectively disallowing me to use points and selecting coupons (unless I paste in the code). Did manage to make it disappear after a while, not sure what I did (I think it was removing all of my coupons) - KMart then proceeded to perma-stick a 5% off toys coupon in my "applied coupons" without a "remove" button, disallowing the use of surprise points. Had to go to SYW. - SYW.com threw me in an infinite cart>proceed to checkout>login>cart>proceed to checkout>login>cart .... loop. Didn't figure out how to get out of it, but managed to make my purchase via Sears instead. This company must be on its last legs now, and I almost feel sorry for them and hope someone puts them out of their misery soon. When I went to pick up last week's orders from Sears I noticed they had taken down the picture of the Store Manager from the usual place where it says "This store is managed by .... Contact me if you have questions". Also, they didn't manage to bring out my order within 5 mins - I was going to let it slide but the clerk told me he had slipped in a $5 off voucher as per their promise. Checked the voucher in the car (usual Sears in-store only coupon), expiration date 9/30/16. *Sigh*
