Hey guys, I have just finished another build, which I would love to share with you all. I call this 'Jabba's PIzza Hutt' Jabba's Pizza Hutt by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr For a change this is not related to any scene or landscape from the Star Wars saga but rather a bit of fun I was having with my newly acquired Jabba figure. I had quite a bit of fun with this, like the Emperor's order being number 66... Jabba's Pizza Hutt by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr Jabba's tail being too big for his own restaurant! Jabba's Pizza Hutt by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr Han in Carbonite being used a fridge in the back with Slave Leia chained up and being made to work the tills and a stormtrooper in chef's overalls in the kitchen. Jabba's Pizza Hutt by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr My favourite part has to be Grandpa Darth treating his little grandson Kylo to a pizza, just look at how happy Kylo looks! Jabba's Pizza Hutt by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr Anyway, this was just a bit of fun, hope you like! Jabba's Pizza Hutt by dimitrinicomanis, on Flickr Rouge one micro landscape and a recreation of an iconic teaser poster coming soon!16 points

I'm in Nashville Tennessee for a vacation with my wife and kids this week. Stopped at a little museum/memorabilia collection of the 1980's show Dukes of Hazard. I use to watch it as a kid, although all I really remember from it is the car and how the guys always entered it by jumping through the windows. So as I was looking at all the stuff, I spotted two Lego items. A model of the car, and a large mosaic of Daisy Duke.6 points

Clinton folks who think this is the end of the world, and trump folks thinking this is the greatest thing ever. Deep breath, everyone. The only certainty is things wont be as bad as feared or as good as hoped.4 points

Pretty underwhelming. Even the ship doesn't seem to have too much real Technic functionality, more display than anything else (though I like the B model as I see many go by on the Ohio river during the day). RC Tracked Racer is relatively speaking the best one of the bunch, with 2 M motors and the PF components making up the bulk of the set. Nothing I want to buy so good for my wallet.2 points

While everyone is bickering over how to run a fair election in the non-LEGO daily discussion thread, here's a fair deal: https://www.humblebundle.com/books/lego-book-bundle (from Brickset.com). Pay as much as you like to get LEGO ebooks. 4 books, plus another 4 if you pay at least $8, plus another 7 if you pay at least $15. Plus support a good cause. Runs for the next 2 weeks. I just got my 15 books.1 point

What a hodge podge of parts... I think my favorite of the bunch is the combined pull back racer semi truck. Kind of "Total Recall" style (original movie). I don't mind the container yard but would it have killed them to put 4 tires on the chassis? Yeesh. The ship will do OK but that little roadwork crew is downright awful.1 point

At this time of the year, there's a supermarket chain that does 50% off in toys. One pays full price and 50% of the amount paid is credited on the supermarket's client card. I almost didn't went because it opened early and I thought I wouldn't find anything worth my time and waking up early. Guess what? I found 5 Ant-Man sets among other left-over sets! There was a limit on 3 of the same toy so I went home to get my GF client card and when I came back one of the sets was gone. Bought 4! What a lucky find.1 point

Maybe it's my past experience living in post-Communist countries but I expect this set to be just 4 baseplates and 400 minifigs .....1 point
