Latest sales in the US are around $15-$20 including shipping, thanks to lowballers and people putting them up for auction and getting 1 bidder. I'm hoping that next month, when parents are scrambling to buy advent calendars and they start running out at retail, the options are getting one of the three real calendars for $50-$75 from reseller scum, or getting this as a cheaper alternative for $30. I have priced mine accordingly

That's disgusting. Who has been cleaning out the henhouse since May? Just throw them away But for real, leave them. They *might* be worth selling next Easter and it will make a good pairing with the rereleased Bunny Suit (I'm guessing), but there are probably better ways to spend your money. The price on a Penguin Suit Kid is higher FBA and costs $2 less.

My 10% EBay Bucks & EBay Bucks Certificate purchase from last week Tuesday came in today. The same one from the "My Order Status" thread where I mentioned it was shipped Media Mail without Tracking, only to be replaced last Friday by a Priority Mail tracking number. Arrived in a black plastic outer bag with a makeshift label on it, held together with half a roll of tape. I feared the worst. Felt like it was a plastic bag over the LEGO box. I removed the plastic bag carefully, to find a customized Medium Flat Rate Shipping box underneath, with in it the 21307 Caterham Super Seven I ordered, plus some more black plastic as padding. Wonderful condition. Goes in the "when I finally have enough time to build" queue together with the F40, the Mini and the T1. Only missing the Beetle. Here's a picture of the box: Not bad for $75 shipped, no tax, plus $7.50 in Bucks.

This Singapore member posts were way before I joined so I just went through and read them all, he was right about tumbler and that is all. His posts about PC/PS/Helicarrier retirement was end of 2015... I thought it was well known that Asia & Australia/NZ do not get all Lego sets, and even when they do they receive limited production runs due to their locations and do not get many re-stocks. A good example of this is that Asia/Australia did not get any of the second wave of Bionicle sets that released this year. If Heli-carrier does retire this year it will hardly be a shock retirement, seeing as most "exclusives" retire after 2 years this fits the bill, so where is the surprise coming from? This set will do well once retired as it is a great build from a good movie, that being said I haven't bought any as I haven't got space for exclusives, only so many sets you can fill in a cupboard lol. Also alot of people make alot of claims about what sets are retiring, and when a set does retire make a big deal that they told everyone a set was retiring and noone listened to them, but I'm pretty sure most people have made alot of mistakes and only choose to highlight the sets that did retire. We should all remember that we are all pure speculators when it comes to Lego investing, this is not pure science, all we have to go on is: - If a set is good / bad build wise - Has exclusive minifigs - Had a limited production run - Based on a cult TV show / Film and will be in demand in future - Has rare parts. Its not like we know the production numbers or Lego has to follow a set in stone past performance = future performance. Has anyone seen the the TV show The Wire? It an excellent show, some comments on here reminds me off the following clip: "He rainmade you. A guy says if you pay him, he can make it rain. You pay him. If and when it rains, he takes the credit. If and when it doesn't, he finds reasons for you to pay him more. It's my birthday weekend. I'm starting to reassemble my LEGO Winter Village while binging on TWD season 6. My husband and kids are "secretly" wrapping my gifts in the other room. I love it!

Sold 3 lego minecraft mines 21118 for $145 each over the last couple days. I bumped the next 3 up to $164 so we'll see what happens...Not bad for a $60 buy in out the door in April. Have 5 left, 1 w/a pretty jacked up box and the others are pretty minty...I will likely build the bashed up one but after all is said and done, I am happy w/going in on this set to 8 just not sure how much higher this might go and if I should maybe just sit on the rest.... Now I am not sure if I should take $65 on a single copy of a Rapunzel's Creativity Tower but that's not bad either for a $18 buy in Too bad I missed this round at B & N but I don't think it was too bad, my wallet got pretty worn out after the B & N/ Walmart clearances earlier this year, not to mention my B & N didn't put a single set on clearance. They did say the other day that in a month they were going to have another round of clearance but at a store who doesn't mark down a single set that doesn't mean much to me (or anyone)

Funny story. A couple weeks ago when I saw the London Bus promo come up in a thread, I cursed myself for missing that promo. When I want to the garage tonight to look for the Mystery Mansion to build, I realized that I had three sets of the London Bus. I was very happy with this discovery but also very troubled that I had forgotten that I ordered the VW, T1, and Mini Cooper during that promotion. My Lego addiction maybe getting out of hand.

Be careful though. You might get your order cancelled because of this: I ordered a VW Beetle last Sunday to get the double VIP + Countdown Calendar promo, and then that very same day I got notified through email that my order was cancelled because I had already bought a VW Beetle recently (using the €10 discount code + London Bus promo combination ) and only one set per household rule applied.... Curious that this notification is shown at all sets. Even sets that have an order limit of 10 !

I'm pretty sure @feed was noting that TLG might just make another giveaway advent calendar next year, further diluting the advent pool and keeping prices down. And I don't disagree with your thoughts on keeping promos until they reach scarcity, but I disagree about this one. At the end of the day, it is an advent calendar with mini-builds aimed at children. The best case scenario, laid out by @Phil B, is that the other advents go OOS and the ceiling for this rises with them. Otherwise this is an inferior product to the normal advents, lacks minifigures, and isn't going to move the needle for most AFOLs. This will keep the prices below whatever the current market price is for the City Advent IMO. The market can prove me wrong. I sure didn't guess an $80 ceiling (so far) for the Gingerbread House, but at least that shot up immediately and sat in the $35-50 range (higher FBA) through last Christmas season. This one is on US Amazon Prime for $17 (with 32 Prime sellers under $20). We can revisit this discussion next year. Best of luck to all

I'm a total space fan, and love what Elon Musk and SpaceX are doing. But secretly, Blue Origin (Jeff Bezos' venture) is doing fantastic stuff as well. This was the 5th time the _SAME_ booster went up into space and landed back on land (granted, easier to do than landing on ships).
