Built the Seacow. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I think it looks very cool. I keep staring at it, it's just so nice.13 points

Received my first S.H.I.E.L.D HeliCarrier today from SAH, absolutely fantastic. Massive minty box, sealcode 37S6. Yes, this is my present and I like it .5 points

No time for big builds, but these two guys were fun. Not really liking the big pieces used for the wheel wells nor the special 2x4 with 2 technic bricks pieces, but result is pretty good. Didn't apply all but 2 stickers to the Ferrari - might do a little headlight mod later. These should go into my to-be-built city inside a custom dealership mod.5 points

Bought a Pick-A-Brick wall's worth of parts yesterday. Managed to bring home over 500 parts, including 128 4x4 plates that I need for my Halloween Town and Fairground. I'm finally (after talking about it for a couple of years now), going to start building these things out.4 points

I like it. And don't think ANY modular should be flashy. This introduces some variety into the street layout without dominating it.3 points

I think it looks fantastic. I'm really pleased with this release. Especially, all the little details. I also think this will look great combined on a whole block. DO has been my favorite so far (followed by PR); I'll wait to build this one, but it has much which reminds my of DO (including lots of variety and polish in the details).3 points

I started my first modular build last night. So far, I'm a fan. My daughter also loved it when she came down for breakfast before school. I'll probably try to get through he rest of book 1 during the Cubs game tonight.3 points

Bought the Ewok village today at target.com for 219 each. There was a limit of three so I bought three and there's a 5% discount associate with any purchase online. I am surprise this set has not retired ahead as it's been about two years + in circulation. I see this set as a break out set once it goes into retirement.2 points

Our fans were not aware at the time we released this that it would become a tradition to make these once a year therefore a remake was necessary.2 points

Just keep in mind that this set is produced in less quantities each production run than for example Dr. Who.2 points

It will make great reading to see how this all evolves down the line. Michael Jackson is lining up a complete pallet full of popcorn.2 points

I agree with you. The book looks much more attractive in person with the graphics. I was kinda upset at first and complained about it, but it ended up looking clean and creative. What I learned is that it is important for book designers to keep a design continuity from one chapter to the next. We did not have a lot of custom shots to work with in some chapters, so it would have been hard to pull that off with only photos.2 points

I have seen quite a few half pound lots of minifigures sell for over $55.00 consistantly enough to wonder if they are shilling. I bought one of these lots because I saw Narcissa's torso in it, I paid 55.00 and yes, I got her torso and a gryffindors body, and a bunch of really random items. But this one is of interest to me...and I get the disclaimer they didn't sort these. But am I the only one who sees a half eaten oreo cookie?2 points

Remember folks: You can continue to spend EBay Bucks against GCs (as long as they are not EBay GCs, that option closes Dec 31, 2016), but you will NO LONGER earn EBay Bucks on Gift Card purchases (as of Oct 1, 2016). So don't try to combine this deal with the 10% EBay bucks promo - won't work.2 points

Heck, at $210 each (compared to $280+7% tax here, i.e. $300 in total) I'm going to have 2 ordered in the UK and shipped to me by someone. I'm sure that shipping those boxes internationally costs less than $180. Any UK volunteers to set up a shipping deal for all of us?2 points
