Hi Folks. I'll do the same as last year (copying Mos' original idea) to support the children of NJ's St. Paul School. For each "LIKE" THIS SPECIFIC post gets, I'll put $1 toward the raffle. Thanks, JA Is Online23 points

I have spent most of this year looking to replace my 10182 Cafe Corner and I lucked into an auction last week where I picked one up with instructions. I built it today and I was impressed that this person took great care to separate all of the pieces by color in individual bags. It's in excellent condition aside from the 4 missing 1x1 round plates for the roof. The Ghost Train patrols my hotel, it is haunted after all.12 points

I know they are free and others mentioned this but they really look like my kids designed these from the mini figure bucket in the Lego store and forgot the accessories. I will still at least try to get the Warriors pack as my daughter tests for her black belt in taekwondo do in December and I can take the black belt torso and make it look like her4 points

Kylo command shuttle .. Used the original kit.. Then added 40-50 extra black pieces a lot are minifigure base plates, black tiles and cheese slopes.. Took away a lot of the light grey pieces.. Added a Radar. Changed up wing tips . Redesigned front end. Covered rear showing technic holes on main cockpit area. It's a work in progress I guess.2 points

We have our first generous BrickPicker, Emvisawthatswho, who donated a 40225 Rio Olympics Mascot set. I will include it in a large lot with other LEGO set donations. Last year, it ended up being one of the best raffles IMO. Thanks again...2 points

Disney figures have retired in the UK. If you see them in the wild, buy them unless its from zavvi who charge £6 a bag.2 points

Built the UCS Tie the last couple nights... I have to say, what a fantastically repetitive build. My fingers are sore, the instructions were hard to read, but who ever designed this thing did an awesome job. Solid, detailed, HUGE but seemingly in scale with the Xwing. One complaint... Stickers. Why oh why do they make complicated stickers? I think I got them on OK but that stupid little red down arrow sticker might have been the WORST placed sticker ever. Makes the Maersk stickers seem easy.2 points

Built some Jurassic World stuff today. The dinosaurs I be kept sealed as I intend to sell them in the future. I didn't apply most of the stickers because I don't have any plans for a Jurassic World display. T-Rex Tracker: Raptor Rampage: I just finished modifying the proportions of the RR vehicle a little bit for a possible reuse in a city setting in the future:2 points

Hi everyone , My name is Alexander and I've been coming here for a while but since I'm a bit internet shy I've never really posted anything till now. I was never a big fan of lego growing up and I only remember owning a couple of space themed sets but my main interest as a kid was action figures mainly GIJOE, transformers and star wars . I have never stopped collecting and because of my Hobby I got into buying and selling on eBay . I've been selling on eBay for at least 14 years maybe more and I sell just about anything i can get my hands on that i can resell with a good profit . I also sell on amazon mostly FBA when i find the right products . Most of the stuff I get comes from Swapmeets and about 6 years ago I started buying bulk used legos because a friend mentioned they have great resell value l. I would just clean them up and sell them as bulk lots for the most part. One day i purchased a large lot that had a bunch of sealed bags and a lot of same color bricks. I never really paid much attention to what i was buying that time , all I knew was it was lego. So I purchased the lot for 150 bucks and stored it until i had time to check it out. A couple of months passed by and I finally had time to go through it so at first i thought it was a large lot of random mixed parts but as started going through one of the boxes I started to realize that all the parts could be from one set because there were a lot of the same colors. It didn't take me a long time to figure out it was the Taj Majal and I couldn't wait to see if it was complete. The set was only missing a few parts and I really enjoyed the build and sold it for a good profit. Ever since then i was hooked on lego, what i enjoy the most though is not collecting but rather building and sorting, I find it very rewarding and relaxing to build sets even when they are not complete.. My 9 year old also loves lego and helps me organize in exchange for mini figures. I have bought new lego sets on clearance at stores and have done ok with them but I'm more into the used sets or bulk collections. I have a lot invested in lego and plan to sell online but i work some crazy schedules and don't have as much time as I would like. I'm hoping joining this online community can help me get more involved.1 point

They could just do something pathetic (like Carbon Freeze Chamber), Jabba's on his throne in a room with Solo hanging on the wall. Maybe throw in the Max Reebo band and some minors like YakFace and ElPhantman.1 point

I personally think based on current deals the 70592 Ninjago Salvage M.E.C. would be the best ninjago set investment wise, it's at £19.07 45% off. It's a great build and has very good reviews. That being said, I'm personally not investing in ninjago as trying to avoid that theme plus nexo knights, friends sets as much as possible. Lighthouse is a good set but don't think there's much opportunity for qf as it's already discounted so many places in uk and it isn't a set that is in high demand1 point

After missing out on last week's Cogsworth TRU build event because of soccer and dance class , the kids were able to attend today's event with minutes to spare. At 1:20, about 10 sets were left (already bagged for us). My kids were able to get 1 each and the employee allowed dad 1 which Upon checkout, I saw one of the element dividers near the trash bin and asked if I could keep it (my TRU uses 2 per event). The mgr said "sure". here's pic of the Lego element divider bin and instructions.1 point

Bag 9 complete, can't recommend this set enough. Yes the turrets were slightly repetitive but this was to be expected, however really enjoyable never the less and really impressed with how it's taking shape.1 point

Built some LEGO Dimensions sets and SW microfighters to reduce the backlog of unbuilt stuff. Doctor Who: Back to the Future: Portal 2/The Lord of the Rings/The LEGO Movie: Resistance X-Wing Fighter/Wookie Gunship/The Ghost: And just because I still have it built and wanted to compare them side by side: Wookiee Gunship 75129 vs. 75084 (no stickers applied)1 point

I know this one won't receive many if any likes but I purchased a Simpsons house today, I already have one in my personal collection along side my Kwick-e-Mart so purchased this for 'investment'. £135 after online discount and TRU gift cards. I know the minifigs haven't performed well but I loved building this set and I think it looks great on display, plus I'd kick myself if it did do well after EOL. I figure that there will always be adult Simpsons fans out there and I don't predict a remake on the horizon so I took a punt. Decent enough discount for an exclusive so I'll just have to wait and see.1 point

How did you like the build? It was my first modular, and although some have maligned it, I was hooked.1 point

Lego is going to retire the TB. Can't see why they will keep 2 big landmarks from the same Country, no less the same City.1 point
