I cracked the seals on a 10240 this past week and my partner is building 10219 (she builds, then I'll motorize). The train will go nicely with our new layout... Currently under construction. The table is 90.5" x 50.5" (or 9 x 5 base plates) and has a shelf hanging in the middle for extra parts (but not right to the edge to make it easier to stand up against and play).16 points

Just sold my one and only DS 10188 via CL for $400. I had it for about a year, with vip I got for it, whatever promo-set it came with, I broke even. In current situation, I consider it a great deal I was happy to get rid of it and put my money else where Hasta la vista baby!!!!6 points

$120 in cash, bnib. Found a local seller on eBay and saved us both the hassle of going through eBay. Going to build this up with Ass on Hoth, as soon as I find a place to put it in my house.6 points

Not sure if anyone ever posted photos of this or not. It traveled from Legoland Florida to the 40th Anniversary of the Mustang Club of America Event in Indianapolis this weekend. Event is at the 500 Motor Speedway. Hundreds of Mustangs from all over! There is a contest to give # of bricks used to build the Mustang. Wow!! It is awesome!! Enjoy!5 points

I will have it done this week. The entire site (except forum) is being completely revamped. One of the features that are being updated is the price guide. I am working to make it an ongoing update to the point that a question like this will not need to be asked again. I am just trying to squeeze ever possible minute that is available to me to rework the entire site for a much needed update.4 points

Don´t like it Too laggy and I can´t see all items on one page like before (handy for seeing what goes out of stock). Plus they seem to have designed it to be smartphone friendly - ie. normal size computer screen unfriendly. I wish companies would set up phone and PC separate sites....4 points

Here's something different, a little (very little) break from all those apocalyptic threads going on right now, found it at local Walmart today, not sure if it applies to all walmarts or just some or only this one. Don't know what the free gift is either since employee had no clue of course and I didn't have time to look for somebody who would know.3 points

This 1000x. I also hate the one page website trend where you have to scroll down - or excuse me, swipe down - to get the entire thing. I'm nervous about what will happen when the number of people adding it to their wishlist reaches a certain threshold. What if 10000 people put it on their wishlist? What about 50000?3 points

The new site looks horrible, why the hell does every website's redesign need to be optimized for mobile devices nowadays? I mean what percentage of users is buying via mobile device vs. PC / laptop. Is there any info on that?3 points

It’s the Lego Website. I’d put laziness and poor design before anything else. Wish list will be on all products, irrespective of status.3 points

With all the unannounced gating issues I am so happy I started FBM in late April then adding FBA in late July. What a difference in sales numbers compared to the Bay. I see to be "in". This is my first foray into Amazon selling. So far so good. Thanks all for contributions in various forums explaining some of the finer details. Thanks to sfcommando....he has helped to motivate my move into Amazon selling.3 points

Always gotta love it when websites change their simple designs. It's like they ask customers "what's everything you like about this site?" and then they file it under "things to make sure you don't do any of when making the new site".3 points

An update for all you seasonal sellers out there. I am a seasonal Amazon seller for the past 3 years. I am now gated out of selling Lego since I was not on a pro account with active listings when the wall went up. I sell about 500 sets a season all FBA. I can list under the 50 or sets still in my inventory screen, but I haven't followed the chain all the way creating UPS labels. So don't know if I can actually sell or not. I had to upgrade my account to a Pro account to be officially told I needed 3 invoices, 1 authorization letter from Lego, and $1000 to be approved. I am escalating the issue as far as I can with Amazon without much hope of a reversal. I am basing my argument on the fact that an authorization letter from Lego is an impossible task. Does anyone here have one? My second side of attack is how ridiculous it is for them to require an authorization and an invoice to sell one used vintage Lego set? I have a used 10030 as an example. I really can't list this, I ask? Not that I would sell it through Amazon, but as a point of argument. One can only hope. This holiday season may be a bust for me as I reestablish my eBay presence. Congrats to all those who made it. Price arbitrage may be the low risk profit approach for those of you who can sell. A new collaborative project by Grant Davis and Jason Allemann brings what I think is one of the most original Lego Ideas idea yet. I saw this and have voted immediately. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/151695 Superb........ Over 2,000 supporters and it's been up for less than one week.2 points

They have what 4 or 5 factories now? Are you trying to tell me that one of these factories can't shift what ever it has on its production schedule for the next month or two and crank this set out? If it's really the best selling initial launch of all time, don't you want it to be IN-STOCK during the busiest shopping and gift giving period of the year? I'd hate to have a shortage of Nexo Knights or whatever other sets that are destined to become Walmart's Feburary clearance fodder.2 points

I'm hard pressed to think this one is going to vanish quickly. If it does, than so be it. Brainiac Attack, another "exclusive" DC Super Heroes set, is still available at a discount via Target.com. Maybe I'll miss the boat, but at least it won't be made out of bricks.2 points

I stopped by the lone Kmart in my county. Addition 40% off toys, but the only Lego's on clearance were marked $1-2 off retail. Still, I picked up a couples of Bionicle and the Elves castle for my daughter who was super excited. My wife got a new "study" table and bench. Good price turned great when I busted out all CoUpons. I ended up with over 28,000 points after the purchase. Told my wife I'm using them all for Lego =)2 points

Enjoyed making a fairy garden with my son, for him and his sister. Like Lego, I love the detail of these little miniature world sets. More to add over the next few weekends, but plenty of fun to be had in the mean time.2 points
