I've never rated a set on S@H, but I have a 1 brick rating locked and loaded for 75159 as my first.

It was probably released before they had designer videos. That's probably why they rereleased the set, they needed a designer video for the archives.

Unless you don't have a 10188, buying a 75159 only encourages LEGO to be lazy, uncreative and uninspiring.

If it's like last year, there will only be eleventy-billion sellers on Amazon, too.

I am not buying any of this sh1t lego is selling anymore. They could have learned their lessons after the toy shop. But obviously they didn't. So what keeps them from rehashing other sets now? If one deer is over the dam...

Toys r us UK have some pricier sets with unadvertised reductions. Pick up a DIY Home Depot book. Very helpful. I rewired my whole kitchen and it passed inspection no problem. The Inspector even complimented me on the work.

If you don't like the new DS (and who does?), you can call Lego and complain about it. I did. Just use the 800 number in the catalog (1-800-453-4652) and at the website. Lego reps are happy to pass on comments/suggestions/complaints. And with Lego, you will get an American (in the US anyway) who speaks fluent English, not a call center on Mars. They won't ban your account for making the call (I suggest not mentioning that you're a reseller, but it's your call), and it's a more useful approach to stopping future remakes than posting here (nothing wrong with that; just do both!).

Like when they obviously learned from reading all the negative views about the Toy Shop, not to mention the other negative rehash opinions (Iconic Easter Chicken, UCS Hoth, etc). We don't need to keep making excuses for them, and assuming that they will change (now that they know the truth, which by the way, they already knew) What we need to do is learn from their behavior, and what we have learned is that LEGO will lie - Retired, Exclusive mean nothing. Yes, they might tweak this or that, justifying the lie with some legalese excuses - but it is nonsense.

We will see. I don't know if this is a legit LEGO release, but if it is, someone is listening and trying to smooth over this release. Now that doesn't mean they will not remake another major set or actually change policy and designs because of it, but it is very unique to the LEGO universe. They never respond to the secondary market. This statement has "secondary market" and "collectors" written all over it. Now in days, bad press and feedback reaches everywhere and LEGO might be concerned their "new" showpiece is being attacked on many forums. They don't like it when their name is associated with terms like lazy, deceptive, tired, overpriced, uncreative, ripoff, and so on. Like you, the "retired" moniker used to mean something to me. Now, who knows what it means. If you cannot trust LEGO to do the right thing, who can you trust?

the thing is, i am more than capable of changing it, however it does take a good 60 - 90 minutes to put it together,take the old one down and hook up then new one. figured i would pay someone to do it and spend sometime with the kids this weekend before they start school. and yeah, u would think people would like being paid in cash after hours, ha..

Not quite today but built a few sets recently. First is my First Order Transporter mod. I never liked the dimensions of the Lego First Order Transporter it was way too short and stubby. So when i got chance to pick up a second set on the cheap i thought I'd use it to extend the original and sell off my second to claw back half the costs. I still need to order some extra 2×4 flat tiles to cover the sides but overall in happy. I've extended it by 10 studs and will get a FO Battle pack to fill it rather than the current rebels. I've also started experimenting with my many bridge battles. I've put two together in a reconfigured order. But think I'm going to use the span from a third set to get a full bridge effect. Last but not least i picked up a Turbo Tank because a: I didn't have one and b: Argos were selling it with 22% Off. I'm glad i got hold of it that way because i don't think it's really a £100 set when compared with Kylo Rens Shuttle or dare I say it, the Sith Infiltrator. Bear in mind I've not seen or built any of the previous turbo tanks for comparison but it just feels a bit flimsy and lightweight for the cost. Luckily these days the Lego RRP's don't last very long after launch and £75 I'd say is about the right price point for this set. I just can't wait for the Rogue One sets as the summer releases have been uninspiring and over priced. I will pick up the TFA set when decent reductions come along but most of the builds are a bit Meh and I'm not really into Rebels.

Last week, I was at my honey hole Walmart and I picked up 35 Emma's House for $35 each. [emoji857] Score.
