  1. Let me apologize for everyone. We aren't the best at staying on topic when the janitor isn't around. He should be waking up shortly so please don't mind the mess.
  2. Hi guys, pretty new to Brickpickers and this is my first post. I recently finished building all my modulars (TH, PS, PC, DO, BB, PR, GE, and Fb) and I just finished BrickLinking Cafe Corner. I must say my favorite modular is PR. To me, it is the most beautiful of all and all the gorgeous details inside and out (the roof!). The build was the most enjoyable as well. Least favorite maybe Fire Brigade. Maybe because it was my first build and I didn't have a method to the madness or because of the numbers on the roof. I will also say I was disappointed in Cafe Corner due to the lack of details inside, although the outside is gorgeous. It was a very fun and expensive experience BrickLinking a modular, but I'll leave the details in the correct forum.
  3. Saw this earlier, thought it was a pretty cool...
  4. This is how I feel every time I see there's a pic attached to a post in this thread.
  5. First pic up 2976 pieces, realistic exterior sphere, AND it opens up. Truly a 10188 killer.
  6. Having called my local Lego store in the UK at lunch to confirm that the VIP release of Cindas castle (which is the 17th) I also asked if they had any of the Disney Minifigs back in stock and her exact words were "I'm afraid they have now been discontinued, they may be releasing a new series but the current one has now been discontinued and therefore we will not be getting any new stock" !! Take that as you wish, I'm merely reporting back what she told me guys but kinda makes sense as these disappeared from SAH UK a few weeks back ! Apologies for the repeat re-posts, I just figured some users have notifications for various threads.
  7. For the patient investor. LEGO Ideas Birds $34.99 http://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Ideas-Birds/42104288
  8. **Off topic** I want one of these Technodromes to play with, hopefully TRU doesn't sell any this fall and it is quickly clearanced to 50-75% off. Megabloks has done a very nice job being faithful to the source material. This makes me want to play TMNT on my NES later tonight
  9. Most likely you will not see those here either
  10. I wish I had your problem. All of my accounts have been banned yet they still insist on sending a catalog for each and every account. My mail lady hates me every 3 months.
  11. Reminder: we do not promote competing affiliate link programs. This includes anything that requires you to go to its portal in order to go to any retailer's website
  12. I built the Marvel Helicarrier today...just an amazing build. I'm so glad I broke one open to build it.
  13. Even my daily countdown photo? I'm here now. I'm not going to clean up the mess from the last few hours, but will start doing so going forward.
  14. 75093 X1 76051 X1 75099 x2 76049 x2 All at 50% off retail.
  15. That's what happens when clearance dies down and folks are bored. Of course the irony is that your post also contributed nothing to the current topic.
  16. Sorry guys, i know that this is discussion, but his thread became flooded by extremly amount of out of topic posts...we are few days before leaked picture come, but we are discussing about nothing . Every day, when i see 20 new posts here, i am full of hope that the leaked pictures finally came, but the posts have zero information value. The discussion about possible design of new DS has some logic several months before the release date, not just few days (maybe hours) before official announcement...
  17. I'll buy your remaining ant man sets for RRP
  18. RE was a Walmart exclusive. Disney minifigures are not. Buy em or don't buy em. Choices is hard to do. [emoji855]
  19. My thinking is everything that says "...please check back in the..."
  20. My apologies. Feel free to remove my post. I'm relatively new to posting on the forum and didn't know that rule.

  22. Yeah after seeing that sneak peek I'm all over the u wing. It's easily my most anticipated set from the first wave.
  23. That uwing is awesome. I don't care what the hateas' say.

In other news, Amazon has changed their approval process for gated products. Apparently they're now doing it on an item-by-item basis. Yesterday I submitted for approval on six different items, all with proper documentation and above the minimum required purchase quantities. I got one yes and five not-yets; between the five not-yets I got three different sets of instructions on how to complete the approval process. I need a drink.
  25. Finished up my BB-8, a slightly different take than the one that @Locutus001 did about a month ago. I did bricklink the stand from his build because I like having the option to display it with the stand or without. Comparing the two, the biggest difference is in BB-8's head, though there are differences in the body as well. Definitely a fun little build, and it displays great. It was my first BL project, so that made it fun as well.
  26. Santa Fe Super Chief 10020 for $110.00 It's 100% complete with minfigures and instructions. no box Is this a decent deal or not ? Hoping it is. Since I don't have this train in my collection.
  27. That's funny. I saw them too and thought to myself "I already own 20 of them," but I lack the control that you have and bought 20 more. It's tempting to buy 20 more, but... I already own 40 of them.
  28. He owns 20 of the 26 he bought in total. Who owns the other 6 is currently not specified.
  29. I purchased these today at one Lego store but had to make two visits, one before my work's meeting and one after.
  30. Came in the mail today! One more package I'm waiting for that has the other august SH releases.
  31. And now I've been hopeful because there's 21 new posts, but instead of leaked DS pics, I'm confronted with this post.....I'm just messing with you.
  32. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/ghostbusters-heading-70m-loss-sequel-918515 'Ghostbusters' Heading for $70M-Plus Loss, Sequel Unlikely Confronted by tepid box office for the reboot, the studio will instead focus on animated spinoffs. Immediately upon the opening of Ghostbusters in mid-July, top Sony executives boldly declared a sequel to Paul Feig's all-female reboot of Ivan Reitman's 1984 classic was a given. "While nothing has been officially announced yet, there's no doubt in my mind it will happen," said Rory Bruer, president of worldwide distribution at Sony. That was the studio's last public mention of a sequel. As of Aug. 7, Ghostbusters had earned just under $180 million at the global box office, including $117 million domestic. The film still hasn't opened in a few markets, including France, Japan and Mexico, but box-office experts say it will have trouble getting to $225 million despite a hefty net production budget of $144 million plus a big marketing spend. The studio has said break-even would be $300 million. Sony hardly is alone in suffering from audience rejection of sequels this summer. But film chief Tom Rothman and his team, along with partner Village Roadshow, had high hopes for launching a live-action Ghostbusters "universe." Now they are preparing for steep losses (think $70 million-plus) and an uncertain future for the franchise. Sony won't comment on whether it has banished a sequel to the netherworld, but perhaps tellingly, a rep says the studio actively is pursuing an animated Ghostbusters feature that could hit theaters in 2019 and an animated TV series, Ghostbusters: Ecto Force, which is eyeing an early 2018 bow. Both are being guided by Reitman, who firmly is back in charge of the Ghostbusters empire via Ghost Corps., a subsidiary with a mandate to expand the brand across platforms. (It was former Sony film chief Amy Pascal who first embraced Feig's vision for the live-action reboot, not Reitman or Rothman.) "We're very proud of the bold movie Paul Feig made, which critics and audiences loved," a studio rep tells THR. "It has enlivened a 30-year-old brand and put it into the modern zeitgeist. As a result, we have many ideas in the works to further exploit the Ghostbusters universe." Feig hasn't said whether he'll return. Stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon are said to be signed for two potential sequels, and initially they said they were game. But now? "Ghostbusters is on ice until further notice," says box-office analyst Jeff Bock. "I just can't fathom the creative talents behind it — Feig, McCarthy, Wiig, etc. — slogging out another one when the reception to the first one was so mediocre." Sony disputes the amount of the potential loss, insisting that revenue streams from merchandising and such attractions as a new Ghostbusters exhibit at Madame Tussauds and a theme park ride in Dubai will help defray any deficit. The studio also notes that the number of people renting the 1984 film has soared over the summer. "This loss calculation is way off," says the Sony rep. "With multiple revenue streams, including consumer products, gaming, location-based entertainment, continued international rollout, and huge third-party promotional partnerships that mitigated costs, the bottom line, even before co-financing, is not remotely close to that number."
  33. I'm sure the Great Leader's Department of Photoshop is able to rectify this for the home crowd.....

Yeah, of the concerts they have available none of them have "voucher" seats left. There were a limited number of seats available for any show/venue, though Ticketmaster will have you beleive the codes will work on any show with "General Admission" on their list, it is a lie. At some point I had a link that showed the list of shows with 'voucher seats' still available but I i lost it and haven't been able to find it since. *sigh*

  36. Then don't you mean "clearance" instead of clearance?
  37. Oh ok, 17th looks more realistic then ?! We don't seem to get any calender's in the UK, well not in my local store anyway or online from what I can see!! I just remember reading in most places that it was the 15th when the pics first became available but appreciate there was lots of speculation at time. I'll call my local store at lunch and report back !
  38. Straight up trailer? Darn it I was waiting for 9 parts 2 seconds teasers to the official trailer
