Yes ... that's a 17 x 13 x 6 box holding ...... a tiny bag of 8 screws. The very same bag of screws I added for $0.89 to move my $34.99 purchase over the $35 threshold for free shipping, and which then got shipped in a separate shipment. Applause for KMart.

Finally put together the GE I bought last year as a partial set in a bulk lot on eBay for cheap. I loved this build so much more than the Fire Brigade. It was pretty fun. Not sure if it's because it's a corner building, or feels more regal. But it just looks pretty cool.

There was a time in which retailers were not allowed to discount. That ended in 2015 as far as I know. I also know that there have been recent signs of discounts on exclusives in the US and more so outside of the US. Also, people should think about the fact that buying limits have been increased on many sets. Finally, has anyone been banned lately? I think LEGO's sales are a factor and that they realize collectors and resellers are an important factor in their success and have eased restrictions. A kinder, gentler LEGO in which everyone benefits.

Unless Donald's back or the hat is different...it only means exclusive to the set (since he isn't in any other sets). Daisy has a different torso altogether.

I like the set even better after watching video. Might be the best LEGO display set ever created. Wonderful. Period.

Just got my Tie Fighter from Walmart today after Ship To Store. Only ordered one and it came in the original Lego case box with pillow pads. Non-gibbled.

Don't sweat the box condition unless it's completely mangled. I can't speak for FBA sellers. I've sold some very nice exclusives on eBay. I've had mint sets sit for weeks and distressed sets sell immediately, both at market rates. If it's a great set, buyers won't care too much about the box condition.

did you do site to store ? i only did site to store TF pairs and all of my orders are also with a single tracking number weighing 16 lb. i avoid paying 6.25% sales tax by doing site to store in nearby tax-free NH . i also get to stop off here on the way for pickup:

Someone posted they had a big box of Star Wars Lego for $100 on CL. I inquired. Two days later got pics of a bunch of instruction books. Ran the numbers, not too bad. If complete and in good condition, looking at a $200-250 resale value. I'll try to negotiate. Requested pics. Three days later and after a lot of hassle (seller was not internet savvy) I got some blurry pics. I agreed to meet to see final condition. To begin negotiations, I complained that several of the key minifigs were missing, like Rey from her Speeder. Seller said she'd search. Then she said she'd throw in her kids bulk left overs. And I can build what I want from it. I said I'd check it out. Here's what I got for $100. I didn't have the heart to try negotiate down. Looks like she took advantage of her kids being on summer break and had them separate the minifigs and accessories and bulk Lego by color. As best they could. Around 50 minifigs, ~35 are in sellable condition. The rest are disorganized. A missing limb, chews hand, etc. several complete sets already built. And maybe 20lbs of bulk. I already identified Cade Banes ship. Excited to see what else. Check the help thread and help identify some of the sets please =) There is some non Lego in the bulk. But the star wars are in good condition. Save for the smell of cat piss =\

I believe you (or someone of your stature) made a quiet comment that the ban on exclusive discounting ran out at the end of 2015. (Am I crazy in remembering that?) Perhaps the new normal is the old normal. 15-35% off is ok for slow sellers if retailers want to. It makes perfect sense that this particular UCS would have slow sales at THIS moment in its lifecycle. The early sales are done, the speculative sales won't start in earnest until around 1.75 years in. The set is overshadowed by the same-priced Slave I, so if you had to pick between them and just get one, you're going with Boba. I dont think that means the set is doomed to an early retirement, but perhaps this is just a sign that Lego is allowing retailers to move slower moving stock. Just like we saw with Walmart's UCS TIE, Just like we saw with Barnes & Noble's Kwik E Mart and MIni Cooper. I dont think this is the end of the TIE, i think it's the beginning of discounts for exclusives becoming commonplace again. #theory

Prices have have suddenly surged on this one in the last few days - cheapest on amazon now $255 with shipping. was about $214-220 and then bump.

So Walmart moved both orders to shipped and coming Friday so that's good! Also bought one from prime day (I bit the bullet and bought the prime membership) I'll have 1 for my personal collection and 5 for holding. I could be wrong but is there a single UCS selling below RRP? (Retired sets) I don't believe so. Even lesser sets are going for 50-100% mark up! At 30-40% off I believe this is a no brainer! Hopefully they don't do this again soon...ill be living in a house made of Lego...alone....

Not so much. Unless you use glue, you have to reassemble it after each mowing. It is refreshingly lightweight compared to your standard metal lawnmower though.
