  1. I put this together myself tonight. SDCC2015-3 Action Comics #1 I Bricklinked the parts. The roof is a change out, since that piece, in green, only exists in the original set. Superman is from the Dimensions Fun Pack. As a huge Superman fan, this was pretty cool to build. Hugely iconic to me.
  2. I think it has more to do with end of the quarter and ebay trying to goose their revenues reported to the street
  3. Damn, that was a quick sommening :0
  4. They have their place although there have never been any in my storage closet.

Did you buy any of this item? Doesn't that make you part of the horde? Why do you hate yourself and everyone else? Why did you create a new profile instead of keeping all of your negativity contained to the mscheaf profile? Troll on, mscheaf.

  9. This is the Daily Deals thread. Get out of here with your non-deal.
  10. Not until Trek sells out
  11. And another one.... 30373 Knighton Hyper Canon LEGO is definitely giving you the chance to army build with Nexo Knights.
  12. Found some PEE at Kmart today. And it also smelled like pee.
  13. I think this thread lost mojo now. Nowadays, even if a set really retires, so what? Doesn't mean much anymore. This retiring soon discussion only drives the hoard to go crazy on some soon-to-be-hot sets. But that becomes more of a trap than an opportunity now. I would just go buy the sets I really like and forget about this retiring soon stuff. I will come back to see the sets performance after maybe 2 years after retirement.

  15. quite a respectable collection and what appears to be a trustworthy watch dog. Perhaps the ones offering you 200 quid are Man U fans.....

Trek does not know what is acceptable or not but hope someone comes through for you ..... I have no Kwik E Mart's and I do not have the cash to buy every set known to man even at 50 percent off there is a limit somewhere and the half off sales have been coming left and right. That is on top of the fact that my region in 150 miles has none and did not yesterday either. So in any event best of luck and hope someone comes through.
  17. The technic crane is the wrong scale. Try looking for city cranes like 60076, 7632, 7633, or 7249.
  18. Yeah, preferably with the fishes.
  19. Me too. I'd buy anything for 2 cents!
  20. You have been given some very bad advice my friend. It as against amazon policy to create your "own" case packs. You may slide by a few times (or not) but eventually you will get banned. Case packs are only to be used for items that are case packed directly from the manufacturer (in the case of lego those boxes with the purple and black striping on the outside). You said you wanted to ship 6 of one item to one warehouse? Easy. Make your shipping plan for one of the item so it has to go to one warehouse. After you create the shipping plan you can modify each item by up 6 units (so change the number to 6). This will allow you to send all 6 to one warehouse without breaking the rules. My advice with amazon is don't try and bend the rules. They do not need 3P sellers at all, and they will not be taking on new, or keeping all existing, 3P sellers in the future either. Follow the rules, above all make THEIR customers happy no matter the cost, and long term Amazon will make your wallet very happy.
  21. Ah so it is a war of wills ..... Who can last the longest I'm in the market for a T1 for my collection, have EBay GCs and Bucks ready .... don't see the T1 go away during this month so I guess it'll be Monday May 2nd when I finally make the purchase
  22. Got this set used, well below retail price. Not so pleased with the shipping box, but for the price I didn't complain much... Its been about a week and half now and I seem to still have a bunch of pieces left over. All the pieces came mixed in, so no number bags. If I couldn't find a piece after a certain time frame I'd move over to the next step. Somewhat of a frustrating build for me. Still a working process, but she is getting there. Just happy to be an owner of this amazing set.

30+ more lbs of loose bulk for $225 + shipping. I bought the lot for $75, picked out the minifigures / accessories and non Lego junk. And It all came with one of these that I kept.

I'm actually pretty hyped for Rogue One, especially after seeing the trailer. I'm positive after seeing the Force Awakens on opening day, and from what i'm seeing for Rogue One and for Ep 8, that we are back in a golden age reminiscent of that time when I was a kid during the late 70's - early 80's. Sure the movies have some flaws, but they are fun again, and it's hard to whip rotten tomatoes at these, because Disney seems to be doing the series a little justice now, and I don't think i'd have ever felt that would happen when they bought out Lucas. I find myself devouring star wars information as it comes out. Those minifigs look great by the way. To me the revealing of those 5 sets is all I care about from Lego at this point. I'll probably buy every one.
  25. Coupon's on the first post from your link. Changing batteries on my sarcasm detector now, just in case.
  26. Chima eris' eagle interceptor 70003- sold three of them at my wife's yard sale for $15 each. Cant get them to move on ebay, but my buy in was $7 each so 2x $$$$! I still have 4 left to move tomorrow. Plus sold some bionicle @ $5 each. They were from a lot and buy in was well under that.
  27. after messaging to confirm order and address before shipping and giving them a chance to come to their senses before I shipped it to Alaska (not kidding), the buyer asked to cancel the order to which i obliged. phewsh - i didn't want to sell for less than 3X MSRP - now i can go back to using an upgraded 4x msrp place holder to monitor the prices on amazon easily with other for sale inventory .

I think it's time for a mass online petition to lego re: stickers. Lego is supposed to be a premium product. Premium products should not have 50 stickers. With EEE, they crossed another line as well, with stickers that spanned multiple pieces. Yucko.
  29. Ok, yeah, I definitely missed that. Sorry.
  30. Yes Emazers has his Quota 20 Simpson Houses and 20 Kwik Marts. "Another thing forget about any more Simpson sets, The Simpsons are done, I am sure there are many sets in Warehouses so should be around for a while, So if you need to get any of these don't wait until its to late. Ed

Bet it was only the targets in Springfield
  32. Chima rules apply > 70% is safety margin. Just realised this thread has been dead for a year until today and it ain´t no town hall. Prediction is this will be done as a thanksgiving turkey along with Simpson House at around Thanksgiving.
  33. Nothing new really aside from altering the title to include Mighty Micro style builds seeing how close in concept they are with Microfighters (except each being primarily for different licenses). Oh and to add something at the least, here are instructions to build a Hal Jordon Mighty Micro.
  34. Definitely better value for money than this year´s licensed exclusives but we´ve seen many times before that good part count/value doesn´t always translate into demand present or future - see architecture and star wars for high PPC and good residuals and trains, technic and winter sates for the opposite.
  35. While your point is certainly valid, my only thought with the Kwik-e-Mart in general is that you can do some really interesting MOC/modular builds/city scape stuff with the parts in this set. Even if you discard the Simpson's minifigures and police car, you've got a lot of value left in this one for the parts. I'm surprised this set doesn't sell better for those looking to repurpose the set. Maybe it's cheaper to BL what you want from the set than purchasing a NISB at RRP.
  36. Just make sure it doesn't exceed 50lbs
  37. Yes we talked about this on this forum a while back. This pack is the _ONLY_ way to get Blue Baseplates currently directly from LEGO, as the retail version is retired and there is no replacement (unless you call the tan baseplate a replacement of the blue one). Didn't know the green is also unique as in that it has a different shade than the retail version.
  38. Agreed. From personal experience with digital publishing, Amazon will make you disappear in a wink if you break the rules. You cannot outsmart or out "game" Amazon. Follow the rules and find happiness.
  39. I am SOOOOO grateful for my parents holding on to my 1980's LEGO. We're an ocean apart but I know what's there and next time I'm over I'll be piecing together some sets. Not planning to sell them, just for good old memories sake. And all the grandkids have had fun playing with that tub of LEGO.
  40. Has this thing hit $600 yet?
  41. Kmart in Quakertown PA is closing for good. 40% off toys, including LEGO. Pickings are slim. Changing Seasons, some Ninjago, Chimera.
