  1. I put this together myself tonight. SDCC2015-3 Action Comics #1 I Bricklinked the parts. The roof is a change out, since that piece, in green, only exists in the original set. Superman is from the Dimensions Fun Pack. As a huge Superman fan, this was pretty cool to build. Hugely iconic to me.
  2. I think it has more to do with end of the quarter and ebay trying to goose their revenues reported to the street
  3. Damn, that was a quick sommening :0

Did you buy any of this item? Doesn't that make you part of the horde? Why do you hate yourself and everyone else? Why did you create a new profile instead of keeping all of your negativity contained to the mscheaf profile? Troll on, mscheaf.

  9. This is the Daily Deals thread. Get out of here with your non-deal.
  10. Not until Trek sells out
  11. And another one.... 30373 Knighton Hyper Canon LEGO is definitely giving you the chance to army build with Nexo Knights.
  12. Found some PEE at Kmart today. And it also smelled like pee.
  13. I think this thread lost mojo now. Nowadays, even if a set really retires, so what? Doesn't mean much anymore. This retiring soon discussion only drives the hoard to go crazy on some soon-to-be-hot sets. But that becomes more of a trap than an opportunity now. I would just go buy the sets I really like and forget about this retiring soon stuff. I will come back to see the sets performance after maybe 2 years after retirement.

  15. quite a respectable collection and what appears to be a trustworthy watch dog. Perhaps the ones offering you 200 quid are Man U fans.....

Trek does not know what is acceptable or not but hope someone comes through for you ..... I have no Kwik E Mart's and I do not have the cash to buy every set known to man even at 50 percent off there is a limit somewhere and the half off sales have been coming left and right. That is on top of the fact that my region in 150 miles has none and did not yesterday either. So in any event best of luck and hope someone comes through.
  17. The technic crane is the wrong scale. Try looking for city cranes like 60076, 7632, 7633, or 7249.
  18. Yeah, preferably with the fishes.
  19. Me too. I'd buy anything for 2 cents!
  20. You have been given some very bad advice my friend. It as against amazon policy to create your "own" case packs. You may slide by a few times (or not) but eventually you will get banned. Case packs are only to be used for items that are case packed directly from the manufacturer (in the case of lego those boxes with the purple and black striping on the outside). You said you wanted to ship 6 of one item to one warehouse? Easy. Make your shipping plan for one of the item so it has to go to one warehouse. After you create the shipping plan you can modify each item by up 6 units (so change the number to 6). This will allow you to send all 6 to one warehouse without breaking the rules. My advice with amazon is don't try and bend the rules. They do not need 3P sellers at all, and they will not be taking on new, or keeping all existing, 3P sellers in the future either. Follow the rules, above all make THEIR customers happy no matter the cost, and long term Amazon will make your wallet very happy.
  21. Ah so it is a war of wills ..... Who can last the longest I'm in the market for a T1 for my collection, have EBay GCs and Bucks ready .... don't see the T1 go away during this month so I guess it'll be Monday May 2nd when I finally make the purchase
  22. Got this set used, well below retail price. Not so pleased with the shipping box, but for the price I didn't complain much... Its been about a week and half now and I seem to still have a bunch of pieces left over. All the pieces came mixed in, so no number bags. If I couldn't find a piece after a certain time frame I'd move over to the next step. Somewhat of a frustrating build for me. Still a working process, but she is getting there. Just happy to be an owner of this amazing set.

30+ more lbs of loose bulk for $225 + shipping. I bought the lot for $75, picked out the minifigures / accessories and non Lego junk. And It all came with one of these that I kept.

I'm actually pretty hyped for Rogue One, especially after seeing the trailer. I'm positive after seeing the Force Awakens on opening day, and from what i'm seeing for Rogue One and for Ep 8, that we are back in a golden age reminiscent of that time when I was a kid during the late 70's - early 80's. Sure the movies have some flaws, but they are fun again, and it's hard to whip rotten tomatoes at these, because Disney seems to be doing the series a little justice now, and I don't think i'd have ever felt that would happen when they bought out Lucas. I find myself devouring star wars information as it comes out. Those minifigs look great by the way. To me the revealing of those 5 sets is all I care about from Lego at this point. I'll probably buy every one.
  25. Coupon's on the first post from your link. Changing batteries on my sarcasm detector now, just in case.
  26. Chima eris' eagle interceptor 70003- sold three of them at my wife's yard sale for $15 each. Cant get them to move on ebay, but my buy in was $7 each so 2x $$$$! I still have 4 left to move tomorrow. Plus sold some bionicle @ $5 each. They were from a lot and buy in was well under that.
  27. after messaging to confirm order and address before shipping and giving them a chance to come to their senses before I shipped it to Alaska (not kidding), the buyer asked to cancel the order to which i obliged. phewsh - i didn't want to sell for less than 3X MSRP - now i can go back to using an upgraded 4x msrp place holder to monitor the prices on amazon easily with other for sale inventory .

I think it's time for a mass online petition to lego re: stickers. Lego is supposed to be a premium product. Premium products should not have 50 stickers. With EEE, they crossed another line as well, with stickers that spanned multiple pieces. Yucko.

Exo suit is a sleeper too
  30. Tumbler had more thread pages before it had even been released than this one does now . Definitely a sleeper set.

  33. How about this: Lego Education Large Building Plates 4570274 - currently 20% off at Amazon ($27.96). This is about the only way to get a large "true" green building plate any more. The blue and green plates are 32 x 32 studs and the grey 48 x 48 I believe. I purchased 2 packs in January for my wife's Serious Play consultancy. They're big and a pretty decent deal for builders.
  34. My name is Eddie Mack. I'm one of the co-creators of BrickPicker.com. I have been a fan and collector of Legos for 35+ years. I have a very understanding wife who lets me store my hundreds of Lego sets in our family room and a crazy son who likes to destroy every Lego model I try to display. I hope you find this site useful and please feel free to ask questions or give my brother and I new ideas on how to improve the site. Thanks and welcome to BrickPicker...
  35. Store it, forget about it, then give it to your grand kids. Your son and future grand kids will love you for it, which will far outweigh any amount of money you will get for them right now.
  36. That is interesting, I know my local store has been out of Mr. Freeze.
  37. The thing is he absolutely hates it. I'm the one with the Lego addiction lol. He took an interest in his first ever set he had (an aeroplane whilst on a flight to Majorca). I then went over board and bought him all that. It's all been set up once, then never played with again. He is 12 now and I can't see him liking it any time soon. But for what I've been offered I will keep it for my own satisfaction lol.
  38. I'm very sad they stopped making those... The alternatives have very low quality plastic in the "shelves" part. We only have a few we grabbed at EOL for MSRP and suddenly two months later they were going for 3x.
  39. That's the one. It's been spotted outside of LEGO Stores, too.
  40. Yeah...I bought a bunch, submitted it, was told that it wasn't enough without any indication of what would be enough, and basically had to guess at how much I would have to buy. We'll see if it's worth it in the long run. The restrictions on listing SW products that started last year with EP7.

While we are glad to have received an overwhelming response of interested members, I am regretfully writing now to inform you all that we have sold out of our initial order of the Disney series. We will be ordering more, but I do not anticipate securing the next deal until another 7-10 days from now. That being said, we will no longer be accepting orders at this time. Because price and ship date may change on our second order, I want to be sure of that before allowing more members to place orders. As for those who have already DM'd an order request, you should all have received a message saying that your invoice was sent. If you did not receive that message, or your invoice, please message back so that we can take a look at that. I want to apologize on behalf of our company for the shortage in stock this time around. We will do our best to get more stock in as soon as possible. Once the next order is secured, I will be sure to post again with a price and ship date. For those who have not ordered and would still like to, I do not anticipate the price to change on the second shipment. However, the ship date will likely be between late-May and the beginning of June.
  42. OK, fair enough. My new suggestion...put it safely in a closet and forget about it.
