  1. We finally have the true name of this stylish camper plus piece count.
  2. Thanks good to know.
  3. To be honest I think Lego/Disney are leaving the prequels/clone wars in the past and trying to move forward with their own vision of Star Wars. Which is a shame since that era has the greatest diversity of vehicles/ locations versus TFA which was rather bland and there was not a single vehicle I could say I would want in UCS form from. However since I am certain we will never see a UCS version of the Venator I built my own off of Anio's design.
  4. Saw this on toysrus Looks like an Easter promo or special There goes market for chicken man
  5. So...You're saying he's next on the chopping block...? Thanks for the tip!
  6. Classic Batman Batcave - loved it. The batmobile and minifigs shine, and the rest is great too. I hope to do a review of the build shortly.
  7. For my wife it would be shoes, but she'll buy the other pair anyway.
  8. Picked up this one before it gets too far in price (could not get a hold on this while it was still available), found it for a decent price compared to Ebay. Funny thing is that the seller, who I've met in person for this (always a pleasure than having things shipped), covered up the set with plastic because it was a slightly rainy day and set could have been damaged. Nice touch.
  9. This is pretty much me and my stash.
  10. Don't do links, WTH? 75102 - SW: Poe's X-Wing Fighter - $71.56 (11% off)
  11. @dcdfan, have you ever heard of the phrase "pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered"? Any investment is going to have a plateau and risk for value decrease in the future.
  12. Hey Everyone, I know that Technic is not the most popular to do MOCing in ..... but thought I would share my new build. Had to save up lots of 15L liftarms to accomplish this.... but finally done. I have posted all the information elsewhere, with more photos, details, etc. so I won't redo everything, and I only have so much room here. http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/425498 http://youtu.be/W4DlzAeiWl0 http://youtu.be/3GnCv2T6Uxw Check it out..... little but of a read but hopefully worth it. I also re-created in Lego the exact lift that the Liebherr group did years ago on their customer appreciation day. Check it out!
  13. Went to the other nearby TRU looking for Harley Quinn/Joker pack and they did not have signs up and since it wasn't programmed to stack in the system I didn't bother asking about it, just hot-tailed it back to the first TRU and made it with about 3 mins to spare until closing. Attached pic was round 2 after my earlier purchase this evening.
  14. That's good for you, though. Four years from now you will be able to buy them for $20 each.
  15. Do you read any posts or post only?

Not confirmed but I hear the bunny suit minifig is also available for this promotion. Good for me because I don't have one, bad for anyone hoarding them.
  17. Kids are fine with it? Or friends and relatives? Skimming off the top of little Timmy might need to go to ethics thread
  18. We did the Nexo Knights build at TRU today. TRU employee was very enthusiastic. No joke, to get the little booklet/cards, you had to finish the build and then yell "huzzah" loudly. Nice free little build, my son was excited for the sword alone.
  19. If you don't need an actual picture and can just tell them the number, it's 500009775669. In store, I believe you'll want to tell them 977566. I can't find the 20% yet. It seems to be harder to get than the 15%. I'll let you all know as soon as I do. Would be fantastic if they stack. Would seem like old times...

I'll throw out a counter argument, for the sake of conversation. I don't like it, because it's not relaxing. I do LEGO for a hobby, and to unwind. Technic does the opposite to me. It winds me up. I agree that it is SUPER rewarding when you are done. The stuff is cool to display. But in the end, I just don't enjoy the build. The biggest I have done is the MKII, and it truly is agonizing when something does't line up, and you have to back-track 1 hour to fix it. That is not an exaggeration. It can take an hour to fix something in the center of a complex mechanism. To me, that sort of thing just makes it stressful. The last point which is minor to me, is that I didn't do technic growing up. Some of the joy I get from LEGO are memories from my childhood, and technic just wasn't a part of it.
  21. Please see yourself out.
  22. It is apparent that using your "imagination" isn't a strong point... I believe the topic is "Wish List" I felt the Light Saber was an appropriate choice..especially Kylo's.
  23. Took the kids to the TRU Nexo Knights build event because, free Lego.

76015 Doc Ock Truck Heist back in stock at Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Superheroes-76015-Truck-Heist/dp/B00IANU74S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1456073893&sr=8-1&keywords=lego+truck+heist
  25. Well the angle of that photo hides the reason lego cannot revive that theme. I'd settle for ucs Daisy Duke
  26. Finally, a helicopter with integrated mail box.
  27. Look at first picture, plus would be nice (and possible) if those light beams really worked
  28. "Welcome to Toys R Us, now grab your s**t and get out! ...Oh, have a nice day!"

I can taste the rainbow.... Rainbow Castle (main) by Simon Schweyer
  30. I agree with this. Too many movies in the pipeline for them to ever have a long gap in the next decade without one on the market IMO. I'll pick this one up for collection for sure, but won't be stockpiling at retail price. Best thing it has going for it IMO is it has the only "old" Han Solo fig made so far. But I can think of other potential TFA sets they could make with one. "Solo Family Bridge Showdown"
  31. So I can't talk until 2019 unless I change my username?
  32. Out of curiosity I just asked my 5 year old son. "Buddy, do you like the Force Awakens or ..." and before I could finish my sentence he responded with "Ninjago?" I asked him again but completed the sentence this time. He liked The Forced Awakens better "but in 3D". I give up.

I don't know why Technic is not popular than it is now. IMO it's way more interesting than normal studded Lego.
  34. Lobot needs Bespin like Bespin needs Lobot. 9678 - Twin-pod Cloud Car & Bespin (anyone ever seen a single-pod cloud car?) I now see Boba Fett's jet pack is a little wonky in the picture. You can tell my son had a hold of him.
  35. The two Audi just came in today. Ended up immediately sitting down to put together the R18 e-tron quattro instead of actually getting going with my day. Presented "in-context". I had to shove off to the tiny parc ferme area the one of the two Porsche so I can have the R18 passing the GTE-Pro Ferrari from last year's wave. Some nice multi-angle build ideas in this one to achieve the very challenging controur's of today's LMP1 class cars. Considering the scale, not at all bad. Looking forward to the Porsche 919 set! (click to enlarge) I'll skip the pickup trucks, Camaros, Mustangs and Corvette of this year's wave though, no interest in the "civilian" vehicles. But as an Endurance racing nutter, I am happy Lego caters to my interests so well.
  36. That seriously irritates me if that's true about the bunny suit guy and chicken suit guy. I take pride in my cmf collection and am extremely happy to have finally gotten them for a great deal after all of this time and now that their rereleasing them that just shoves it down the toilet. They may as well remake mr gold and the rest of the good/ rare figures since they already destroyed the collectibility of 2 of their greatest mvp's.
  37. I have 4 or 5 bunny suit dudes in my mix of mnifigs, I'll probably just go ahead and sell all, but one.
  38. This looks like the plot to the Lego Movie 2
  39. I see 4 minifigures that I need. I do not need the tank or the jaw thing.
  40. Now that the Chicken Suit Guy is reissued as an Easter promo I'm really wondering if LEGO tries to make some of the rare and popular (=expensive) minifigures from the CMF series more available. Also, Bumblebee Girl and Hotdog Suit Guy were recently rereleased as keychains and the hotdog suit from Hotdog Suit Guy will be reused in a Friends set. So are costume minifigures from the CMF series keepers for the longterm as an investment? Just some food for thought.
  41. Come on man what people really want is a build review of the new UCS hoth set.
  42. Does the divorce set have a lawyer or a brick separator?
  43. I don't know what any of that is
  44. ^Done! This sale is online too. Four more cybermen added to the army for $25ish (limit of 5)
  45. Just received my back ordered X-Wings with seal codes 03R6. Pretty fresh....
  46. Nice, now I have something to pull my T1 VW Camper Van when it breaks down.
