  4. So the results are in... this set has no stickers. Do any of the Ideas sets have stickers? RI didn't but it's the only box we've ever opened. http://brickset.com/article/17018/review-21304-doctor-who
  5. Yikes! If it wasn't for the coupons, I'd never step in a TRU...
  6. These stopmotion sort of build videos and channels are becoming more prevalent which is good but also means each will have to start offering a new twist on the genre compared to the other guy.

I had a good run at TRU today. I've been avoiding getting a new TRU Credit Card, but I gave in today. I got: 1 x Agents Ocean HQ (thought I would take a gamble on this, the timing seems perfect to purchase it) 1 x Hobbit Witch King Battle (an impulse purchase, the minifigures looked cool) 1 x Bricktober Hotel (these flip easy for $24ish) 1 x Bricktober Train Station (this was free w/ the $75 purchase) 3 x CMF14 (limited myself to 10 bags, smooshed out 2 x Tiger Lady and 1 x Cheerleader) My total was $106. This included 15% for opening a new card, 20% off 1 item coupon, and $5 off coupon. My total is about the retail for the Ocean HQ, so I'm feeling good about it. If I flip the two bricktober sets, that will net me about $40.
  8. I don't know either. lol Did you happen to have a DS blocking a corner of your monitor?

Meaning ............ it is great set and many decades from now it will make big smile on the inheritors of my estate´s faces
  13. Just did a shipment today that included TH, HH, and EEE. No prep required...
  14. Wall-E ain't no Exo suit and an Exo suit ain't no Wall-E. Get your quota. Either now or later. Then move on. Taking advantage of double VIP and TRUTH and FAO is a good idea as discounts are getting hard to come by as time moves on. Many of you know how easy it was to get discounts on Lego often, it ain't like that anymore.
  15. UK cheapest one is 740£ now!!
  16. I'm no expert at all. Worst forecaster ever. And I say this set is going to be available in quantity and for a long time (2yrs or more). So the smart money would do the opposite of what I say, and buy up plenty ASAP. Seriously though, I understand IDEAS sets can be "limited" or short lived at times... I can consider comparisons to Back To The Future, and Ecto-1... but both of those movies are over 30 years old. BTTF is the ugliest DeLorean I've ever seen. Ecto-1 is great, but still an adult focused theme. Wall-E appeals to all ages... is such a loved, and major character... It is such a great looking model (boxy robot is the perfect theme for Lego), reasonable price point, Lego's cozy relationship with Disney right now... I just think all these add up to plenty of demand and plenty of supply for this set. This could be the Death Star of the IDEAS line... ok... maybe that's a little dramatic... but if people love it and keep buying it, why would Lego ever stop making them?
  17. Good to know i'm not alone in the fishing game! The weather is a bit better with you though! lol

  20. $12 extra is pretty unreasonable. Just to clarify, it was an auction and not BIN? BIN - I'd split the difference with them and send them $6 just cause karma. Auction - They get nothing... many people put low shipping on auctions to make it more enticing to bid. It's the risk you take as the seller. Tough cookies. Your choice of course but I would just politely word it such that the maximum price you bid was based on the shipping cost as posted in the auction and that you would not have purchased otherwise. Apologize, be sympathetic, and simply end with "I look forward to receiving the item." Don't threaten negative feedback .. but of course leave it if the seller doesn't come through.

  22. *hand waves* This is not the EOL you're looking for...
  23. Yes you can stack the $200 Reward with coupons you just have to do rewards card, items, coupons, Reward, partial pay, GC. If they scan the reward first it takes the $200 off before discount is applied and if you use CC first it won't take the reward. I tried using the same 20% off on multiple Bricktober Hotels in one transaction today and it did not work for me. So I had to plan B it. But I thought I read on here that it does anyone have steps to duplicate it?
  24. Dont even know how I missed that. Lol
  25. Anybody see a new box yet...Anybody????
  26. Definitely targeted for the kids, but should be a good parts harvest for MOCs and what-not on clearance. Because, let's face it, they'll be on clearance in a Chima minute.
  27. It's entirely plausible that the next UCS Star Wars set is EP7 related. If so, it might give away too much plot, therefore i can understand why they might not release something like that until 2016 which would be just a few weeks after the film releases. So for this Comic Con, i would guess it's not SW related, and lean towards GBHQ or BigBen (if those rumors have validity).
  28. Last week I checked TRU & it said they had 517. Today it says they have 928. Not sure what to make of that...I'm hoping they're gonna wanna get rid of these this year for 50% off on BF/CM like Galaxy Squad last year...
  29. Could be...That's a STAR WARS number, but Brickset has it as a 2016 set. I would think LEGO would release it before The Force Awakens.
  30. I'm pretty confident it isn't leaving quickly...I would definitely not buy any without a discount...
  31. I just finished editing the Lego Ideas WALL-E set. I purchased and included in the video the Head Mount Modification Kit that was designed by Chris McVeigh.
  32. No, it looks very VERY sealed. Other than one has a bubble on it but you won't even give it a 2nd thought as all LEGO sets could have that. I've been observing this box for minutes under light up to this point, still couldn't believe this is happening. Too pro.
  33. Yeah, my 3 of each got cancelled, you should sells one to me at cost TRU flyer for this week - Free JBC when you spend $25 in lego swts (couple of exception themes) combined with the train station for $75
  34. Said it before but Id recommend all BPers subscribe to ufema's youtube channel. Great stuff.
  35. What a great plan, 6.5 hours of nap before the featured presentation begins
  36. my sympathies for having to sit through Episodes I-III
  37. An Unexpected Blizzard by eyescream54
  38. True, but it is interesting to note that the modular market in general has taken a long holiday and new and used prices haven´t moved much since then and they still appear for that much on BL.
  39. All of them. What store has their lego display in the Bra section?
  40. I have had good small success a of late with estate sales i have bookmarked all my local companies and usually by Wednesday they post there Friday/Saturday sales i scan the pictures for Legos and usually try to go to any sure bets sometimes I find other cool stuff as well
  41. It'd be awesome if it comes in LEGO like packaging! Imagine opening a life-size LEGO 21115 The First Night set. http://www.wired.com/2015/08/everblock-life-size-lego/
