More sets...More chances of errors and issues. I am still impressed with the overall quality of the sets considering the enormous quantities made. I think box quality is improving and minifigures are way better than years ago. I think this hobby is filled with overly smart...and anal...people, who nitpick things to death. What bothers me more is the lack of creativity by re-releasing sets like the Winter Toy Shop.

Went to the Lego Store today. Here's a few pics. Most everything in stock, including Death Star, Ewok Village, Slave 1, and Tower Bridge. They had all JW sets except Raptor Escape and Indom. Rex. They also didn't have TOO and the Lego guy said they won't see that one again. No series 14 minifigs; he said those disappear in 2 days or less. Picked up 5 Trick or Treats. Seal on TRex Tracker was 30R5, on Raptor Rampage was 34R5.

So not as good as I initially thought. The £10 off vouchers cant be used together. So they are just £10 off a single transaction.The stickers are still running though. The £10 off has to be used between the 18th and 24th of this month. So I got 4 £10 off vouchers and a £20 off voucher, and bought ecto ecto wall-e + CMF wall-e + CMF (at least both CMF's were tiger ladys) Nothing amazing, I'm gonna build a wall-e with my little boy today, use the £10 off vouchers on the Star Wars build able figures next week, and prob use the £20 off on another ecto.

Turns out that I got the price wrong. There was a 30% discount on all the sets, so each FW was selling for about $74 usd. Thats 26% off US rrp! There were abt 20 sets in total, so i wiped all of them

It's just that as others have pointed out, all lego CMF have the same item # with target. So if they see that they haven't moved any, they're not going to jump on more. Whereas after I bought my local target out of stock, they put another case+ on their hanging racks. Accursed racks! I never seem to get there when they have an unopened case.

No. I wouldn't think they had a dedicated Lego entry person. I would think they use the same people & would have some sort of guidelines. Using the same product IDs is a shortcut.

Some people just don't like to reveal too much about themselves, their hunting grounds, etc, and I can understand that. I have frequently posted what I saw at the Concord NC Lego store... I figured... if someone wants to know if there's, say, a Ferris Wheel at that store, they can always just call and ask. But having a general idea of what's available at different stores around the country (and what is not) is always interesting to know.

No, never. What am I supposed to say? "They don't let me stack coupons"? They'd probably get a bonus from corporate. I've tried this as well, got shot down really quick on that one.

I like getting and sharing this info to, whenever I can... but it is helpful to know where you are. I mean... if you don't want to pinpoint the store, I guess that's fine, but at least tell us "US Northeast" ... or "Southwest" or whatever.

Just had another thought on this, I wonder if you then spent £40 of your £60 in vouchers, would they give you another £10. Giving you £30? You then most well spend an extra £10 and get the promo again. Anyway I have a feeling i'm gonna be the most popular guy in TRU today Maybe ever.

Yep. I was coming in near the bottom on pricing of in-hand lots, too. May have been too many preorders up last week that I was competing against.

ebay has a feature that will automatically open a case when a seller doesn't pay within a couple of days. I like it - almost every time it has spooked the buyer into paying right away. Not foolproof but at least you don't have to think about it.

This might be of interest to someone. TRU £10 voucher for every £40 spend in store. Could be useful if your after some CMF or buy 4 ectos get one free etc. Havnt really had a chance to have a proper look yet to see if theres any good deals this could be used with. It might however stack with the £20 spend on Lego sticker offer ( 4 stickers gives you a £20 voucher). So for example if you bought 4 City Swamp Police Station (60069) all separately @ £40.99, you would get x4 £10 vouchers and 4 stickers giving you another £20 voucher. £60 back for a £120 spend. (I have only picked this set because of its price point, buy what you want etc) Obviously this could be applied to any set or any mixture of sets as long as you spend £40 each transaction. Halloween is far different than Easter and Valentines day. People spend money on this holiday for decorations. This set is adorable. This set is one of the few traditional Lego sets to feature a girl as the main (only) character. This set will have a limited run as it is seasonal. This set is a good value at a $9.99 entry point. This set will be far more collectible than the Monster minifigures are at the end of the day. The masses, will not be aware of this set as it is limited distribution. All IMHO but I bought five from SAH and plan to add five more from a B&M store close by. The pumpkin and the bat were okay but I wasn't moved by them. This one grabbed at me as soon as I saw it.

Okay so just have the emperor say "Have you eliminated the padawans?" and then "Yes, my master." I think Lucas got criticized for being too kid-oriented with the first two prequels so he overdid the violence in the third.

I don't like the scene either and I'm not a fan of explaining it to my kids.

I'm excited about Episode 8 because it should have more Luke, and it will have Benicio Del Toro as a villian and overall be the darkest of the next three. But please no murdering of a room full of children, that was not necessary.

Part of me thinks you should have waited for your next sale and looked to see if he sold it too.. Then ship the wrong one and let him deal with it. Reporting each one and blocking is a nice touch though.
