I really hope Lego makes this droid.

Woke up at 3:00am and checked my phone (Don't judge me lol). Noticed I had sold another Wall-E and went back to bed. Finished packing the one set and when I was about to print the label noticed the buyer (From Japan, Global Shipping Program) had actually bought 3 of them. Now that was a nice way to start the morning.

Someone should add a "Swooshability" rating to the set review categories. Would this score better or worse than Green Grocer?

My WM had 4 REs on the shelf this morning along with stock of all JW sets in groups of 4. Looks like they've only been bringing them out in small batches so they don't get gobbled up. Almost like they are trying to keep life support on the stock they have... RE codes were still 22R5

He's just saying a 400 dollar haunted house wont appreciate as much as a death star. I am not sure i agree that the death star will out perform the haunted house. Assuming equal price points. Death star has the brand going for it. Haunted house has scarcity. I think scarcity is going to win out. I wanted to snag some haunted houses before it hits 500+ because i see it at 1000 in 2 years. Will the Death star even retire before then?

Take with a grain of salt, but I just got off phone with LEGO CS asking if Series 14 minifigures is really done (e.g. no more from shop at home) and the rep told me that they should be back in stock within 2 weeks. Played the part of the concerned father of little Timmy, worried he wouldn't get his zombie cheerleader without his father having to step foot in a target or walmart and that I preferred to buy them from shop at home with VIP.

I thought I would resurrect this thread since its been a year since this debacle took place. I'm happy to report that I'm back on eBay and sales are picking up! I want to thank everyone in this thread for their advice, reassurance, and support. It turns out the best advice was just to lay low for a while and use my original account when the time felt right. I started selling on eBay in May. The summer was slow but things started to really pick up towards the end of August. So far I've sold a SSD, a Lone Ranger polybag, and a few sets in between. It's been fun a ride so far. Thanks again to everyone on Brickpicker. I would have been lost without your advice and input. What a great community we have here. I am grateful to be a part of it.

There is no way I would buy a Haunted House for $400 now, and returning a Death Star to get one to me is a big mistake. The Death Star will rise fast when it retires in a few months or so, just look of all the crap I heard when I kept saying get SSD,HH, etc. Now with 46 SSD and 62 HH and I do have 56 DS most thought I was crazy. Ed

Like others have said, I don't recall seeing Sold Out for something so new rather than (Temp) Out of Stock. This series is more seasonal than the rest, but 2 days would be crazy to be gone already. With all this talk, the fear suckered me into another Minfiguresplus order. I'm sure I'm not alone.

Everybody's been saying how much they love this entire series.. Granted it's a good series, but the gargoyle is a cheep cop-out imho. They should've given him an accessory... They could've been more imaginative than throwing in another Frankenstein monster again, and the (modestly altered) zombie.

Sold out is definitely the wrong phrase for something that they plan to restock. It sounds permanent. Poor grammar. Shame on you Lego [emoji88]

Well, I've seen both. A few posts above shows the link to the stormtrooper minifig. So....I don't know. Honestly, it might be different at different TRU stores. I am an idiot. I thought that picture of the stormtrooper was a minifig bag....but I see it's just a brick. Well, whatever. That's kind of lame. Not gonna cancel my plans just because of that, though. It's still a nice bit of memorabilia.

I was able to purchase 6 SW Advent Calendars from my local Toys R Us. with the 15% off coupon and TRUTH 10%. Total $35 each OTD with taxes in Houston.

Might need a swooshability by age range category... My youngest once swooshed 10188 and it didn't go so well. I could probably do better...

Yeah, that's what NDAs and digital signing/encryption are for. We really don't know what they saw and what was brought to them, but to not have real photos must have been a bummer. Also it says initial design sketches which are probably a lot more accurate than the concept art that was released/leaked. As usual this stuff will probably look better built that in a photo, but it just seems to be a really poor decision. What else has LEGO been working on for future waves that they've had to do from photos and sketches? Might make all those fab OT sets that much more desirable to the nit picky collector!

Wow… sold out, just like that in 2 days. Granted, these will be back, but it might be hard to land, and complete sets even harder. That bodes well for those of us with complete sets for the time being. I'm sitting on 5 of these, as of today.

On the flip side, lots of people actually WANT those Pet Shops and Red Fives, whereas many don't care about an ultra agents set and never will.

So I received a parcel from London Drugs today (I'd say they're like Walgreens for all our US friends... not sure about elsewhere... but they sell a little of everything). They're having a good sale on some LEGO right now but many BP members have been receiving them in bags and we all know how that often turns out. I received a single TREX tracker in black sticky wrap, taped up, in suprisingly good but the other order arrived like this. (this is staged, sort of, I put it back together after pic 2). Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 Picture 4 (sorry, it's blurry) To top it all off, on this order I had forgotten to use their special LEGOSAVE10 code and emailed customer service about my order. They refunded the $10 with a pleasant reply. Then my parcel arrives as pictured...

Thinking about putting a set of doors in sideways on the top floor and pretty sure rooftop dragon.
