If you found the name of the next modular then The lego police are about to knock on your door and erase your memory this thread will be deleted. Good work ;)
  2. UA Ocean HQ. I haven't built let alone bought anything in this theme but when I saw Jangs review it got me. I was able to pick it up at TRUT for $60 and for that price not only is it a great build but nice display and awesome play set. It is very similar to building the tumbler not just because it is black but it has a technic core with many neat building techniques at different angles to complete the set. It does not have hull pieces like a traditional ship so at 1204 pieces you get a lot for your money. Also it is heavy and almost 2 feet long. I even applied the stickers. The side panels open up like Jabbas sail barge to reveal Accesories and play areas. I will include a pic so you know what set I am talking about but it probably won't do it justice. I swapped out all the Trans orange and some of the white with Trans light blue and I have a BL order on the way to finish off the main Gatling gun in Trans light blue. Up next is the DBZ
  3. Besides SW, I think one of the Big Bang this Christmas is going to the TBBT!
  4. Raptor Escape back to sold out on lego.com Have a sneaking suspicion the same is bound to happen to Trex and IR in the coming weeks.

LEGO Creator Corner Deli, great find, thinking bike shop cafe line or next modular?
  9. Found 1 at TRU and asked if he had any coupons and he scanned the 25 percent off. Buy in was 47 and listed on Amazon for $94 and sold in 5 minutes. QFLL at its finest.
  10. Pretty sure this is due to actual consumers as well. I think many underestimated the power and popularity of Scooby and the gang.

  12. Bought roughly 450 series 3 and 4 mixels at .98 each
  13. Like wow, man. That's so groovy.
  14. I don't recall my kid ever saying "Zoinks" before. Started putting together the minifigs and sets today and I heard "Zoinks" about 50 times in 2 hrs. Good stuff!
  15. Picked up this guy for myself. Looking forward to building it. After 20% off and discounted gift cards it cost me $172 with tax.

So, I think I inadvertently stumbled upon a list of future Lego releases. I tried to find the sets on Brickset, but they don't exist. I saw one says 2016 so I'm guessing these are future set names?? 19. Practice really helps with feeling the bags - try with a few blind bags you don't care about opening and smoosh away until you get the hang of it. As previous posters have said the accessories can be the best way to confirm and having the checklist in front of you of each figure can help. And just take your time, shake the contents of the bag so the small items settle into the corner - like you said you could feel the slingshot so it sounds like you are well on your way already.
  20. this is a great point, because what is to prevent a buyer who purchases a specific unopened figure from you to claim that they received something else? Pretty much nothing, and without opening it yourself beforehand you can't prove it was the figure you listed.
  21. http://www.brickpicker.com/bpms/eu-inventory.cfm?cat_id=614 Only 14 now...
  22. Bump codes don't seem to work anymore. Best way to do it is to smoosh. I'm of two minds on this topic - as a seller, I prefer to keep them sealed so my buyer knows that they are getting a minifigure that is completely brand new. This also lets the buyer have the fun of opening the bag. However, as I buyer, I want to know that I really am getting what I paid for. I want to see that it's really that mini before I buy it. Because of that, I'm leaning toward opening minifigs and immediately sealing them up into plastic bags. I've got a ton that are sealed, but I almost feel better knowing for sure that I've got the mini I think I do before I sell it. Just in case I've screwed it up.

That's a new line up. For Elves, there's been questions as to whether there would be an Emily Jones set, so it's nice to see that happening. I wonder if the Palace Pets set will be a Duplo set or fit into the regular line. My 7 year old daughter loves Palace Pets, so I'm hopeful it won't be Duplo. Friends has me intrigued and worried. Yet another Cafe/Bakery type set in the Cupcake Cafe. That's a bummer. However, the Party sets and the Archery set has me interested. And there's another Tree House. After the last one eluded me for so long, I'll probably buy this one soon after it's arrival. The only thing missing from the "girls" list is the DC Super Hero Girls line.
  24. As a collector, Lego is really letting me down. How can they have a brand new set sell out the first day that it's released?! Are they trying to manipulate the supply chain like Nintendo does with amiibos? We all know what a huge cluster collecting those have become. There's really no excuse for this. Yeah the horde has played a part but a large multi-billion dollar company should be able to plan for this. Anyways horde. Unleash the dogs and go to work. There's money to be made as TLG stubbornly tries to leave multiple sets on life support without meeting the needs of the marketplace.
  25. I've come to the conclusion Lego can't meet demand. Too many people on this globe can gobble up thousands of sets in an instance. This is making me really reconsider the entire "episode 7 sets are going to be flooded all over the planet" mantra. Maybe they'll attempt that, but fall very short. It could very much happen. Seems this is the case with most everything they put out now. They would have to attempt to produce 100's of thousands of copies to flood demand in a world of 7 billion, and maybe they just can't do that sort of capacity.
  26. This is my favourite LEGO set ever. I have bought 3 sets, and built one of them, which I almost never do. Stock in EU says only 17 left. I really feel like it is the very last time we are able to acquire this jewel. I am going to buy one more, this will be my august investment ! If the set is massively back in stock within 90 days, I still can ask for a refund.
  27. OOS already? Must be retiring.
  28. I assumed the Corner Deli might be with the smaller modular line (31026 Bike Shop). Just my thought when I read the list anyway.

I believe that it is. At least that's what I recall all of the talk being
  30. I sold another one for $62.99 + 5.49 - now i'm out of 'in hand" stock. I have more on their way from walmart to be picked up in tax-free NH on Wednesday. I will go out cruising later this afternoon for some sweet summer turboQFLL . Between Halloween and Xmas, this set has the potential to keep on giving during Q3 and Q4 2015.
  31. Walmart is sold out (again) so, that leaves Target & Amazon.

The Corner Cafe had a hotel in it too. I'd be down for this.

Looks like the Maersk 10241 is on its way out. Just visitted a Lego store and bought the last 4 at $119 each. Yes, they were discounted and won't be getting more. They also discounted the Lonely Mountain down to $109.... Interesting. Glad I got a bunch of each...

Was thinking the same thing. Lakeside Lodge sounds like the 3-in-1 house & the Corner Deli could very well be the next modular. Most speculation has called for a corner next. Will be fascinating to see it play out!

At first I thought like the Cafe/Toy Shop but now I'm really pondering if it's a modular
  38. Well it looks like I have one to build... Is this something you guys would contact Amazon about? It definitely happened in shipping since the outer box matches the inner. I gave my boxes a shake and didn't hear any lose pieces rolling around pseudoty.

It just occurred to me that lego.com had a teaser recently that showed a bantha and a group of Tusken Raiders. I'm starting to think that the "droid pod" set might be a lot cooler than what some of us might be thinking. Seems like a perfect set to get a Bantha and some Sand People.
  40. thanks for the reply. I guess we have to get out of the Canadians thread before they get all pissy. I send you a PM
  41. I wouldn't consider a box on wheels a good display piece either. As backward as this sounds, I ALMOST hope one of the boxes is damaged when I go pick them up at the post office (but not really). This way it'll force me to crack one open to build.
  42. Space for built models is also an issue around here. I can't say I find the Sandcrawler to be an amazing display piece but I have heard that the build is excellent, so maybe one day I will.
  43. Last three days I sold on Amzn all four of my 75919 I-Rex's. I hate to see them go. Thank god my son didn't catch me. Avg buy-in $91 each, avg. sell $203 shipped, avg profit $69 each (+ $8 in Rewards points each).
  44. I bet 0.7% of lego resellers hold 41% of the remaining NISB SSDs...
  45. I laugh when I see some of the reasonable price comments and "I will only pay this much" only for said person to list a rare set well over BL price.
  46. None, except the S@H out of stock labels and the WM exclusivity. Most everyone is speculating...
  47. now I believe you, just keeping tabs to make sure you're on the up and up
  48. For those who have been following this topic for a while may remember there was a general "How to" guide in the main post. Well the last forum conversion seemed to have lost the data and images from that leaving a couple sentences cutoff and a lot of empty space. Anyway I finally managed to fix up that guide with the correct pictures and such so anyone in need of some help getting started with their own modular house, hopefully the brief guide will give a good start in the right direction.
