  1. Done for the night again. This is bags 7,8, and 9 and has us through page 335 out of 440. Bags 7 and 8 were just the other propeller / motor stations and are slightly bigger than the first 2. It was nice rotating these in the build as they are pretty much all the same so we each did 1 smaller and 1 larger. Bag 9 you start closing up the deck of the ship and put on the engines in the back. Those are probably the least sturdy attachments so far. Everything so far has been constructed really well and feels like one of the more solid large builds. Hoping to finish tomorrow after work with the last 3 bags 10, 11, and 12. Then to add the power functions (what I am looking forward to most) Saw the micro figs in there and they are ridiculously small. They are like the size of a peg in a battleship game. Also attached photos of Cap and Nick Fury minifigs.
  2. This new item which is a ten times upscale minifigure mug on Shop-at-Home popped up in the "You may also like" recommendations section for me earlier. There also is a Friends version for the missus.

Yeah! You no longer will be able to hear yourself getting fatter. I say this as I'm finishing off a pound bag of M&Ms. A pound is still a pound.
  10. Cleared the shelf of all two of them.

Exciter and Darth I yield to you. You both are the blackest of black belt Ninja's. Haru: The blackness of my belt is like the inside of a coffin on a moonless night. Joey: That's pretty black, Man. Haru: It is a black art, and I, Haru, am the blackest of the black. Or rather the great white black art... Blackest... Master.

  26. That's what you get for walking into a Lego Store without any money :-P
  27. I've been parting out Cantinas. I sold 5 of the buildings at $28 each in the last 48 hours. At a $50 buy in for the whole set it's doing pretty well.
  28. Can you see the status of your old order? BTW I would be careful with such orders. Though you didn't exceed the stated limit, it has "reseller" written all over it.

  30. I am loving these seasonal sets so far. I wonder if they will do a Halloween one. Maybe a couple trick or treating or something
  31. The ice cream truck well as the other 2-in-1 vehicles stand a bit tall and could use some modifying to make them shorter to the ground but they work fine overall. Main flaw with this one is the customer counter is a brick too high making regular minifigures barely able to be served properly as the counter stops right at the top of their heads. Anyway here is a mod to remedy that using only the included pieces. An LDD file is up to download in the main post there.
  32. I think I have all versions of the shuttle from 10212 down to the polys and the advent calander. When the new 1,000 piece shuttle comes out this fall I think it will be time to build and display them. Nice job Raven!
  33. 10234- Sydney Opera House The SOH replaces the TB as the new living room centerpiece, so expectations were high from the entire family. Jury is still out on this one, but it is starting to grow on me. Pro's: Lots of unique pieces including a ton of dark tan, several hundred dark translucent windows, and a ton of white shells End result is stunning, and looks great from all angles. Speaking of angles, the geometry to do the shells is simply astounding challenging, unique, if not somewhat strange build' more transportable than the TB, with easily separated sections. Cons While I mention that it looks great from all angles, our table will only all to display it from the side. Going to have to work on a new spot shell build gets a little redundant, but how they all come together is remarkable Speaking of the shells, I am not certain I like the layered shell look (instead of on smooth shell), but it is growing on me. missing two piece (no big deal) but some of the white shell pieces have a bit of a weird distortion on a few of them. Overall worth the time. I will definitely stash another one of these away should it decide to retire early (ya never know!). I think this will be an EOL winner.

  38. I am in a little bit of a difficult situation and need some advice. I sold two comics for $25 plus $5 shipping. Mailed them off to the verified paypal address via USPS. No problems. The buyer opens a case on me for item not received. I check the tracking and it says the item was delivered. I send a message telling him it was delivered and he says he didn't get it. I tell him to call his local post office. He does and says the package could not be delivered because there was something wrong with the shipping label and it is being sent back to me and that it was scanned delivered by accident. I tell me him I'll keep an eye out for it but the tracking says delivered so that's all I know. There were no additional updates to the tracking. I do get the package back almost two weeks later and the label was partially torn off by USPS and the comics were a little damaged in their 4500 mile trek across the country and back. What do I do? If I tell him I got them back he is either going to expect me to pay to ship them again or if I tell him they were damaged he is not going to want them anymore and want a full refund leaving me with damaged product I can't resell. I'm better off just saying I never got them back because I am protected because the tracking says delivered. He would lose the case if it were escalated right? I feel bad for the guy because it wasn't his fault but it wasn't mine either. Sent from my iPad using Brickpicker
  39. If you are out making your Lego rounds Tuesday why not stop by IHOP for breakfast http://www.ihoppancakeday.com/pancake-day-details.html Then head over to Olive Garden for Lunch http://www.olivegarden.com/coupons/coupon-personalization/5-dollar-soup-salad-breadsticks Then stop by Chick fil a for dinner. They keep the good stuff hidden behind the counter kinda like a TRU Polybag you have to ask for the chick fil a sauce it is not out like the ketchup and mustard Don't forget the TP ;)
  40. Potentially it could be legitimate as it happened to me on Arkham Asylum build I did last year. The AA was brand new and sealed. But, it was missing one bag! I sent an email to Lego Service. However, they never asked me Where I bought it from. To me, it does not matter if ebay or lego store or Target or CL. The only confirmation they wanted, was for me to read some numbers printed on one of my manuals of Arkham Asylum to prove I actually have the set. Once I provided the numbers on the manual, they sent me the bag. However, If they no longer make the lego set such as 41999 being retired, then you might be out of luck as they no longer have any bags for the 41999. Hope that helps somewhat.

Based on the set numbering, there should be a total of 6 seasonal boxed sets this year 40120 - Valentines 40121 - Easter 40122 - Halloween 40123 - Thanksgiving 40124 - Christmas #1 40125 - Christmas #2 The next two are very likely to be vignettes in the same style as the first two. if you look at last year, 40085, 40086, 40090, 40091, 40092, and 40093 were all 4" Animals themed with the holiday, so there is a chance that we get two Christmas/Winter vignettes separate from the Nov/Dec promo sets. I wasn't impressed with the animal designs, but the vignettes are excellent. Whether we end up with 4 or 6, selling them as a set should fetch a great ROI.
