  1. There is a new feature available to those of you that may not have wanted to start from scratch and re-list all of your current eBay products. This feature will hopefully make that process a little faster. In the Products section of the Vendor admin areas, you will see a new link for "Import from eBay". Its a pretty simple and fast setup. You will see an eBay Connect/Reconnect button that will bring you to eBay and ask for your permission for Brick Classifieds to get your listings. They basically pass us a token to allow us to list your items for you to select and import. It will show you all your current listings. If there are non LEGO related listings, you can keep those unchecked and it will only import the ones you want to import. You will also have the ability to select a small discount to your current pricing. If you would like to lower the price by 5% or even 10% it will adjust those prices on import. Once you select all your desired items to be imported, process them and you will then see all of them listed and ready to be edited and made live. All imported items default to the non active status. You will still need to add/adjust a few things to make sure it fits the Brick Classifieds format. It will import your Title, Description, Price, Quantity, condition (if available) and images. You will still need to select the category, enter tags and do shipping. If you are using stock photos on eBay, these will need to be turned into personal photos for Brick Classifieds. This has been going really well on the site, and we do not want to deviate from this. Note: All my listings above are fake, just used for testings... Hopefully this feature will encourage some of you that are just on eBay to import your listings here and continue to build the marketplace. If you are running into issues, please send me a PM and we will figure it out. Feedback is always welcome. There is also a sync process setup to monitor your eBay listings. If it is sold on eBay, it will update your Brick Classifieds listings. It can subtract quantity or make your listing in-active. Thank you

I hope the images are not too large. More detail work to do on this...but so far like it.
  5. And somewhere in LEGO's secret lair: Crap! They found it out! Now we have to conspicuously retire a different exclusive!
  6. By the way, I hear the Tumbler is on its last legs. Absurd, you say? Nope, Town Hall. Slave I is on the way out too. I know that because Town Hall and because Lego hates resellers.

I always thought the '50 Shades of Grey' books were the laments of a DS investor who loaded up back in 2008...
  8. Is that the guy waiting on his Death Stars to arrive or waiting on them to retire LOL?
  9. why are people all hurt about a satellite. its a satellite. do people really want this model or they are looking for another mars rover for sales? Wall-E was probably an easy call since its disney and they have license. i personally like the model and will buy for myself.
  10. YES! Doctor Who will be incredible. And I'm so very hopeful that this will be the start of a whole line of Doctor Who LEGO. I will be hoarding these as much as I can. A) I want it for myself, and need to get it for my Whovian friends. This will have a much larger appeal that just LEGO fans. Whovians will gobble this up.
  11. I still think it's best to make decisions based on known statistics and patterns. You can remain open to the possibility that seemingly improbable things can happen without assuming that they absolutely will happen. That said, I would concede that it is not crazy to load up on the PC now if one desires; it HAS been out for 2 years. But in my mind there is no plausible evidence available to suggest that it is retiring in the next 12 months. Honestly I'm just getting a bit sick of people claiming that X set is probably retiring soon, giving no rationale behind their claim and then hiding behind a Town Hall box when the criticism rolls in.
  12. OK, just keep believing conspiracy theories and basing your decisions around sets that are the exception rather than those that are the rule.

Trek is late to the game. Trek absolutely loves this! Trek wants one himself! Trek is sad because he knows Lego and Paramount CBS will never have a licensing deal. Trek needs to pretend Star Trek is made out of Lego. Trek wants to be happier. Trek will go back to focusing on being first person in line for a Helicarrier at the Lego store 2 hours away on opening day like an Apple fanboy waiting for an iPhone 7. Trek discloses he is an apple fanboy as well but no longer stands in line for apple like he does for Lego. Trek will stand in line for Helicarrier. Trek is thinking "Be the Helicarrier" like "Be the Ball" in Caddyshack. Trek now can forget about Star Trek not being real lego. Trek is happier. Trek gives a shout out to Darth Raichu and all the other Star Trek Fans on BP. Trek feels better now. Trek will be starting shortly Into Darkness Star Trek 2 by JJ Abrams because of this thread. Trek likes to pretend it is somehow related to Star Wars and it makes Episode VII and the UCS Tie Fighter all the closer. Trek says I love BP. Trek signs off.
  14. I like to list with stock photos. I describe the item as not mint and request buyers to contact me first if they are concerned about box condition. A soon as they contact me I ban them. Frustration and hissy fit free. I won't sell any other way on ebay.
  15. I got you covered
  16. Thanks for all this feedback, I just got home from the office so I will dig into this tonight and update everyone tomorrow on some of these issues.
  17. What can I say? Autocorrect no likely Dalek.
  18. Lol. All good. I call people out and get called out in top 3 of people behind the scenes. Unless this is a slip up and you're really trying to tell us you are supraboy and this is your 4th username.......
  19. Town Hall is an outlier. In statistics, you often toss out the outliers when discussing trends. Does the life of the arctic supply plane indicate everything will retire in 6 months? No. It's an outlier, too. Does the life of the DS indicate every LEGO set will be produced FOREVER? No. It's an outlier. We are speaking in grand terms about things we do not control. Maybe PC is already done and no more production will be made. Maybe TH will come back over the summer. Maybe, maybe, maybe... I think this kind of paranoia is exactly what TLG wants because it keeps us buying.
  20. Common sense told me Town Hall is Town Hall and literally thousand of other sets that were not town hall did not behave like town hall
  21. I guess 1000 Euro will be the limit for a long time. After that (2-3 years later) I can see that set reaching 1500 Euro.
  22. When considering modulars I don't look too much into TH going early. With it's size and price point it feels like a one off. I think when it came out it was also the only time two modulars released the same year. GE-PS-PC feels like the natural order. My gut says PS goes this year in the same fashion as GE last year and FB in 2013.
  23. Amazon: # of sellers: 184 (-4 w/w) lowest price : $56.24 (+$0.76) BB: $59.99 (+$1.23) #468 in Toys & Games #48 in Toys & Games > Building & Construction Toys > Building Sets seeing slight uptick in price and reduction in # of sellers.
  24. I'm saying that anything can and will happen and if people want to be foolish and base their buying and thinking based on what was going on before the huge reseller boom then be my guest.
  25. Nah, Trek still used punctuation and line breaks. I would have been with you had Trek forgot to press enter
  26. I'm sure, I've been a Prime member longer than I can remember not being a Prime member, but I do know standard shipping takes a long time.

Ah Master Sensi you have a sharp memory. Yes Friends & Family has its advantages. My dog lives at the same address so that is a no go (joke)
  28. People who want mint boxes and not a shipping label slapped on the lego box, kicked out the door and then takes over a week to get to you.

Yeah, it was definitely in production worldwide in January (going by reported seal codes). Sigh. @Lego: How 'bout you show your love for the investor community by offering a PS for TH trade-in program... I mail you a PS + $50; you mail me a TH. Sounds fair, no? And it would be a classy way of apologizing to your friendly neighborhood Lego investor for the out of order retirement.
  31. So Today was a pretty nice day, I just scored a 100% complete with a nice box the batcopter: the chase for scarecrow (7786) for $27 shipped :D

Ah, the classic Chinese 'Lego to Jewelry' bait and switch. It's the oldest trick in the book. I still have a giant heap of costume jewelry where my stack of MISB 10179's is supposed to be. I just can't bring myself to take the loss and accept that the UCS Falcons I was promised by 'supertrustguy99' (only $99 each with free shipping!) will never arrive... I mean, delivery from China can take a long time, right?
  33. Just finished the build of the Ultra Agents Hurricane Heist (#70164) I was really exicted to build it and see its mecanism but in the end... I was bored by the fact that nearly everything has to be build x2 - feet - legs - weapons - wings And the build itself wasn't spectacular. About the mecanism, I'm a little disappointed too, it works ok but you can't crush minifigs, fans just turn in the air (ok that's what they're supposed to do). And the transformation into a spaceship is disappointing too (well, I was just expecting too much). What is great is that it's nice without stickers, so I didn't applied them... I'm not sure that'll keep this set. It's an ok set but right now I'm just a bit disappointed. Pros: - really cool bad guy minifig with a nice mask (it remembers me... MASK, from the 80's) - the little motorcycle (good guys) included is a cool mini-vehicule - no need to apply stickers - surprisingly stable - an off-beat vehicule Cons: - quite a boring build (x2 this, x2 that) - not that much playable (it's supposed to use wind as a main weapon...) - nor displayable (chicken legs makes it look a bit stupid in "robot" mode)
  34. That should become an official Pantone colour
  35. You do not have time anymore these days. Lately it is more about choices. Which sets do I see as good investments and buy my quantities. I have given up on trying to buy them all. Almost impossible for me.
  36. I'm not the only one a little turned on by this, right? Right?
  37. Here the best price is on LEGO Shop at Home when you buy it on double VIP and get a free polybag. So overall about 35-40

well, what can i say ... i just finished watching this movie ... yup, thats right ... it took me this long ... well, i actually enjoyed it ... probably because Lego is a part of my life right now ... if i wasnt into investing at the moment i wouldnt have enjoyed it as much ... thumbs up ... now i can relate to all the sets out there ...
  39. I say it IS all 3; Super (investment potential) Star(t praying there won

Good point guys but I don't do much investing cuz I'm only 15 so I'm more of a collector!
