Wow wow wow my friends it's time to stop those speculations based on the back of the box right now. There are always been only 3 modulars at the back of boxes (the current, and the two last sets). It's like that since the 10185 green grocer. Back of boxes: Cafe corner - cafe corner, alone Market street - market street, alone (I list it because... see next line) Green grocer- green grocer, market street, cafe corner Fire brigade- fire brigade, green grocer, cafe corner (bye bye market street ! Thanks for the fish help) Grand emporium- grand emporium, fire brigade, cafe corner Pet shop - pet shop, grand emporium, fire brigade Town hall - town hall, pet shop, grand emporium Palace cinema - palace cinema, town hall, pet shop Parisian restaurant - parisian restaurant, palace cinema, town hall Detective's office - detective's office, parisian restaurant, palace cinema. 3 sets on the back ? Ok. So NOTHING NEW SINCE 20087 points

This post on eurobricks cracked me up: "also looks like a departure from the love story we've gotten in the modulars: PC: first date PR: proposal GE: Suit and dress choice for upcoming marriage TH: Wedding PS: New apartment to start a family DO: wife has run away and husband hires a private detective to find her?"5 points

I would say eBay will side with the buyer if she opens a case against you. I would ask her to show photos and if she's being truthful send the right one to her. One mixel is not worth an open case in my book.3 points

Use coupon code 44461 online. Expires Nov 29th. It worked for me for boxes, kraft paper, tape, and shipping label pouches. So it seems to work for just about all shipping supplies. Stock up for the holiday rush!2 points

The good thing about it is that is blends in more with city like the bikeshop and also it can be a nice addition for displaying the super heroes. This might be a very big hit. Now only thing I am pondering about is the price. Last modular was 102 points

I love it when you have 1/2 a dozen big packages to ship out and they are all for EBay Global Shipping Program customers. I live close to Kentucky, so I know all these packages will be less than $8 to ship and most under $6.2 points

I really like the fine details of the set. The window stickers on the DO are a nice touch. I like the brick as well.2 points

Here's some quick pictures, it's a work in progress. A mixture of our own stuff with Lego models because, frankly, I'm not very good at doing my own thing.2 points

I shared my Printable LEGO Label collection with many of you in the past, but I wanted to let you know that I just completed a large update which includes many common Technic parts. I got a *lot* of comments and emails indicating that you want more labels, so I hope you enjoy. A sample of the new Technic labels. The labels look great on any organization system. Today and yesterday... New/sealed 3061 city park cafe for $62 shipped. Paid $21. New/sealed 40082 & 40083 Christmas stand and truck promo combo for $56 shipped. Received free last year with other purchases. Used/complete with box 6769 Fort Legoredo for $148 shipped. I bought it off my local Craig's two weeks ago for $25. I spent about $15 bricklinking a few missing pieces.1 point

I especially like this last bit... (emphasis on MF my own).... I personally have no ambition to pay crazy amounts of $ for a new or used 10179, but this bodes well for those of us who hold a faint hope (a new hope?) that Lego will re-release this beast!1 point

like re-make UCS MF? I am waiting for one @ msrp now. . . . in my dreams1 point

Built the Town Hall last night - it's a monster! I love some of the details on the facade, and the dark orange colors.1 point

Nice! I just had a GSP buyer nab one for $47 shipped, so you might have been able to squeeze a little more out of it.1 point

For many BPers this is very good news. Heres to $74.99 next bump!1 point

Just seeing this now, this is easily the biggest discount I can recall ever seeing on this set, Costco previously had it listed for $337.99 I believe. Definitely worth considering this holiday season! http://www.costco.ca/LEGO%C2%AE-%E2%80%93-Mindstorms-EV3-English.product.100057003.html1 point

Sorry, no naming names to protect the innocent. Block 'em. I just blocked a cancelling buyer about a week ago as well.1 point

The best advice I can give to people is to keep sets like the SSD, HH and Town Hall. They are exceptional sets and lesser sets like the GE, PS, AA, SC, etc...will not keep pace with the Big Boys.1 point

This is the greatest post of all time. Why can't i like this twice?1 point

I get that, and it does make it probable that Lego intends to retire the other Modulars in chronological order. But I think we can't draw the conclusion that it means Pet Shop will be retiring soon. Grand Emporium was already absent on the back of the Palace Cinema which was released almost two years ago, yet the GE only recently retired.1 point

Kudos for the back of the box. Logical to show the 3 most recent modulars but also gives more credence to TH being done.1 point

I stuck to my rule and it paid off. This morning I purchased Battle of Five Armies for $45.59 at Target. I price matched Walgreens (20% Off Legos) and received an additional 5% off using my Target Red Card. Very Happy with this purchase. Now I sit and wait until I can get Lonely Mountain for less than $86.60.1 point

So guys, is this the last modular Lego makes? At least this is what the rumour is in the other threads...1 point

brilliant! Can't wait to build it.... I also love the different theme. Detective's agency is sooo much cooler than school...or petrol station or any of those boring buildings every street has Bring it on!1 point
-
I really like it. Not every building can be this perfect piece of architecture. I've been told by a solid source that the Detective Agency is supposed to have some special features, unlike any other Modular.1 point

I just have to say...The TB is an incredible model to display. I'm a huge fan of large intricate sets and the TB is truly awesome for those of you who haven't seen it built. Like a previous post, I never get tired of looking at and admiring it. I've had mine set up and on display for at least 3 years now. This is what I've done to it...I know that its not exactly to scale, but it was pretty fun and I think it looks cool.1 point

I started college in 2002 but had to stop before I finished because of the cost. I got back in to school two years ago and graduated today. My wife was very sweet and drove all the way across town to get this (and a gift card) for me. Of course I had to build it as soon as I got home. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker1 point
