  1. There are still plenty to be gotten if you are willing to drive (and are fortunate enough to live close to a bm store). My haul from yesterday.
  2. This is a new Modular Set in my collection and of course a new video. Enjoy.
  3. Dynamic Duo 6857 = 602 currently in stock.
  4. Looks really cool and actually works! It accelerates a Lego soccer ball to 12.5 KPH. Nerd Approved Ideas
  5. Am I the only one that finds it funny when grown men ask each other if they should build a Lego set or not. I do not know what ur enjoyment level is with building a set. Me personally... It's work. You would have to pay me to build a lego set. It's work x amount. Is that amount worth it to u to build and have one of ur own.... No one here can advise. Would u rather have 300 bucks or a town hall. Simple as that dude.
  6. GE: "Oh no, it's going EOL!! [later] Yay, got a bunch!" TH: "Oh no, it's going EOL!! [later] Yay, got a bunch!" HH: "Oh no, it's going EOL!! [later] Yay, got a bunch!" R2: "Oh no, it's going EOL!! [later] Yay, got a bunch!" Maybe we like repetition after all...
  7. Lowest eBay BIN is already up to $235 qty 1 and next is $250 qty 3. Amazon lowest is $257.50. This is the droid you are looking for.
  8. That just happened a few minutes ago. Mixels Series 1, $120.
  9. The horde will eat what is left as a horderve.
  10. I studied it for 2 years. Insanely difficult to learn. Hard to retain too unless you can use it every day. Try looking on youtube for a video so you can hear it. Be careful too, the same phrase can have different meanings depending on context. There are also different hierarchies dependent on the age of the speaker. You would not greet a 20 year old like you would a 60 year old.
  11. The loss is not that big. He only loses Sealed-used difference which is not that critical down the road.
  12. Wait, I lost track.. Is he practicing to become head of shipping for Target/Walmart/Amazon/TRU?? So confused....
  13. Well, when the 4th arrives, without opening the package, give it a big shake. Stomp on it. Stand on it a little. Then open the box and look inside. Enjoy.
  14. Sales really picking up in November, already more this month so far than Sep/Oct combined. Have sold 4 Helm's Deep this week @ $170, a $60 Orc Forge, as well as some cheaper battle packs. Need to keep it up for all the spending that's been going on, UPS dropped off more boxes today.
  15. Bought a couple more sets of Mixels series 2 at TRU using the 10% off and Batwing promo. I think I'm going to list my sets this week at a high price and wait for eBay to catch up as we get close to Christmas.
  16. Cool. Yeah, I suppose I may have to start clearing some stock next year too. It's starting to feel like living in a warehouse round here.
  17. Just ordered my first Tumbler. Used my saved vip-points so paid only 75 euro. Cannot wait!!!
  18. Everytime I read your posts, I can't help but hear Tony Soprano saying it.
  19. And then Disney would eventually just own everything. World domination is what they are going for.
  20. it appears you mention something negative about this set in nearly every other post you type (in this thread). i think it's safe to mention that pretty much everyone (reading this thread) knows you have issues with 10225.
  21. The LOTR Pirate ship is not nearly as impressive as the POTC ship. For that reason, I think it lags well behind.
  22. horderve? oooo, my aching french. Hors D'oeuvres. So I've only got one extra R2 in my pile that I got a while back in the US... just too many other deals to take advantage of lately and not enough $. TRU in Canada still has them in stock, but it's $229.99 + 13% tax for me = 259.89 (about $230 US). I just can't seem to pull the trigger at that price... Would anyone here? It has to pass $260 US not including shipping to bring that into the black.
  23. You will need to provide a little bit more information on your source if you want to be taken seriously.
  24. Has anyone else who has pieced this set together wanted to make it black and turn it into Airwolf? Maybe have it blow up the limo when you can't find that black rear window?
  25. Unlike R2, DS works great as a cat tree if you clear out the internal features and minifigs (although my cats enjoy hiding those in out of the way places). I'm assuming this use has some effect on the resale value, but shouldn't be too bad.
  26. SPOILER ALERT: the empire was defeated
  27. I know this is unprecedented but what if the empire decided to build another death star bigger and better the one blown up by the rebels......I know I know mind = blown right now.
  28. R2D2 is going. Sell me yours at cost if you think it will be around.
  29. might still be better for what Target is doing with mine. they are shipping my 5 10225s in ONE box. that's 33.3 pounds of 100% pure 10225 r2d2. oh beep, beep, chirp,
  30. Better investments than Kingdoms Joust: - Cars - Computers - Blackberry stock
  31. Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda. We all have them and we all learn from them.
  32. Very true. My point was I csnt put a price on his enjoyment factor. No one here can. Wasn't directed at him so much but I see similar questions asked a lot lately. So I should say would u rather have about a 100 profit and likely more down the line or a town hall.
  33. Lock three in a closet, forget about those for a few years, and then build the forth one.
  34. Try to find one at MSRP and build that one. If you can find any, pick the TH that is in the worst condition and build that one.

My wallet thanks this site, carrying around all that cash sure was tiring. Much lighter now.
  36. "I think we discovered plates !" LOL
  37. For long term, I think both should be available for quite a while. But for Christmas, I think the Arctic Base would be a better bet. It reminds me of "The Mine" from 2 years ago. I wasn't a brickvestor then, just a dad trying to get his 4-year-old the only thing he really he wanted for Christmas. I waited around looking for a better discount... I was lucky to get one at regular retail about mid-November, because that's when they all disappeared. They were selling for 50% - 90% over retail in December. I just don't see kids getting THAT excited about the Bike Shop. Even if it did sell out in November, I don't think it would have the same upside as the Arctic set.
  38. From what reviews and things I read, fans of the Winter Village sets don't like Santas Workshop because it is smaller and doesn't fit in. Therefore the target group is going to be other consumers that aren't already interested.
  39. Hasbro have an uphill challenge ahead of them. IMO they need a game changer, a generation one transformers, a He-Man, a GI Joe, something new that sets the world on fire. It's been getting on 30 years now since G1 Transformers, Ninja Turtles, GI Joe, He-Man, Thundercats etc burst onto the scene. Toy companies have been rehashing themes for far too long, we need something new and exciting. Until that happens I really can't see Hasbro knocking Lego off top spot
  40. The main droid in the new movie is Kira's spherical droid.
  41. Wow you know your ethnicity that is for sure! Your Shuttle is a thing of beauty sir! And I think you list that green grocer just to make all of us who do not have one feel bad. Ha (just joking)
  42. Thanks for keeping things running smoo---- Ooh, Mini-Trucker Magazine.
  43. Putting 5,000 miles on his car right now. Let him concentrate.
  44. Little Johnny gave grandma his Christmas list this year: Lego Hawnted Houzze Lego Town Hall Lego Ar tooo dee tow Lego Camel that flies
  45. Toys R us with the 10% off for using CC and Bricktober sets.
  46. I'm glad to have a couple of Bilbo's houses tucked away for the future. This one will be gold in a few years--and I doubt we'll see a LEGO set like it (at least not for a long, long time).
  47. I just finished finding all the pieces for a 6285 Black Seas Barracuda. I was very surprised to see that in a bulk lot where most of the sets are from 2007 and on. Unfortunately, there are several important pieces missing like some of the hull, four sails, and the masts, so I'm can't build the set yet. Next set, 4957 Ferris Wheel!
