UMD-31 "Phobos"

The UMD-31 is a production model variant of the NR-31 "Vassal". The NR tag is used by the United Mars Directorate's R&D department for mobile frames currently in prototype and test type phases.

The Phobos has evolved as a heavy medium-range fire support frame. It features similar armor to its Vassal predecessor, and is also equipped with defensive flares. It's twin high-kinetic triple-barrel gatling lasers mow down enemy frames easily.

The immense firepower comes at a cost. The UMD-31 moves very slowly, as it must carry a large ammo cell for powering the gatling lasers. However, once a Phobos is entrenched into position, it is a force to be reckoned with.
