The UMD-38 is the production model of the NR-31d "Vavasour".

The Deimos has forgone the extreme armor and shields of the testtype model in favor of the standard ST-07 frame's mobility and versatility, while keeping some protection with a reinforced chest plate.

The original twin quad-barrel heavy rail batteries remain completely unchanged, testing showing little could be improved.
