The Old Workhorse - Traction Engine

The Old Workhorse - Traction Engine

Album created by Bricked1980 · Updated

This is my model of a vintage Steam Traction Engine. It's my first submission as a LEGO Ideas project, so if you like it please give it your support. Thanks ☺️ https://ideas.lego.com/projects/2a2ec583-9836-4868-8dc7-6b3bb0a2fe80

The model features a highly detailed Traction Engine with steerable front wheels, spinning flywheel and detailed cab interior. I've also included a wagon with drop down sides and various accessories and minbuilds that can be towed in the wagon. Hope you like it.

What a superb submission, I've tried to vote, but LEGO's website is struggling... again. If you don't get 10,000 votes by lunchtime, I'll want to know why!

This is a totally new and refreshing idea AFAIAA and could be the new theme that LEGO are desperate for. If they don't approve this, my faith in them will be reduced even further. Your 10,000 votes is a dead cert IMHO. You just need to get it past the stubborn killjoys. LEGO have to realise that it's not all about Star Wars, Super Heroes and Technic.

You can also approach Bright Bricks who can issue it as a LCP set like they do with Bridges and Cathedrals. Of course, there's nothing stopping you selling it right now and I'll take one off your hands (either PP F&F or swap) if you have the new parts and instructions (I will NEVER sell it!)?. Where are you based?

I'm a huge fan of Mamod so I just have to have this!

It’s brilliant but each picture doesn’t need its thread. I can’t find anything.
