Greetings fellow Pickers!

 

I'm new to the site. Not new to lego. New to collecting/investing.

 

I'm nurpey on BrickLink should any of you had purchases from me. I haven't opened a store yet as I'm still sorting through the many of lots I've purchased.

 

My lego experience began when I was 10 and got the Black Monarch castle. It was stored away for decades (ok, maybe one decade). My nephew recently had my parents dig it out of the attic last year, and the fever began.

 

I'll go into more detail in some other forums because I have some questions and would like to get some feedback, but for now, I'm here and I hope to contribute a little here and there.

Welcome, mightycaseyatbat. Black Monarch's Castle, a good set to start any collection with. I had Black Monarch's Ghost among a couple others as a kid.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, unfortunately the castle isn't in great shape since I was 10 and played with it for a few years...

I basically just let me nephew have it!

Thanks Rootfish! You are so right about that. I find myself always frequenting the Lego aisle at Target, Walmart and Kroger anytime I'm there!

Ha ha I do the same thing! Not just for Legos though, toys in general. I think I realized I have a problem when my girlfriend and her 9 year son came to visit me last week and he exclaimed: "Do you have to look at toys at EVERY store we go to?!" lol.
