No, I meant to share this pic not sure how that one popped up but would appreciate it if you take it down. Dealing with Amazon on that have to wait until 12/4 for a resolution. Freight carrier is saying I was not home for delivery but I was all day.

So since I got caught up in giftcard limbo from the Best Buy / Macy's thing this morning, I went ahead and just purchased the sets I wanted via Macy's website at the 30% off.

Anyone ever done the whole "return item instore and immediately repurchase (with giftcards)" for Macy's? I've done it with Best Buy and Target but I don't know if Macy's will allow it. AI/Google says they will lol

When you say partial pay on gift card, do no use the full amount of gift card? or can you use full amount of the gift cand and top up with credit card?

I am sure they will let you do a return and repurchase but the sale ends tomorrow, so you would have to do some type of price adjustment which will probably be harder. 

In other news:

Rak 12%CB for Macys went through for 12% of the entire purchase price.

I had four sets sell out on me because of that. Been waiting since 7:08, the first two showed up quick. Missed out on the train, mtt, juggernaut and lotr book note.

Usually inside an hour. The checkmarks are the confirmed shopping trips with cash back pending.

I should have known better but a word of caution for those newer to LEGO buying and selling. This time of year when stock dwindles it gets very appealing to pickup scraps still on Barnes and Noble, but today another package arrived shipped from some random store, a $200+ set with a hole on it and taped back box from them having the contents pulled from it and put back in and they sell it as sealed. Fortunately this time they still had the set at my local Barnes, though damaged, was still sealed. Took some convincing but was able to replace, in the past not so fortunate and they re online fraud department always looks at you like you are trying to swindle them and make you take pictures and it’s a pain in the bottom. With Barnes added shipping fee for large lego sets I am giving my member ship a break from there for the time being.

Just got my order from Macy's sale on Sunday when I ordered the UCS AT-ST. Unfortunately this is what was inside my box. They issued me a refund and told me I have to return the item. Now I am out an AT-ST, time, effort and gas money driving to the store to return.

My Macy's Technic Ferrari has a UPS shipping label generated since Wednesday with no weight and still has not been picked up.

Paypal Pay in 4 Rewards worked on the Enterprise 8K points pending. I guess after they changed the terms you still got one more purchase.

Similar situation here with Macy’s. I ordered 6 sets around 8:30am Sunday.  One set was delivered Tuesday, a second delivered yesterday.  The other 4 show a UPS shipping label was generated Monday at 7:36pm, and the UPS tracking shows still awaiting the package.  I’m growing convinced this is a case of something in the process “broke” and the warehouse/store will never complete processing (hand off to UPS).  What’s even more annoying is 2 of the 4 items are still showing as in stock on Macy’s.com.  I plan to reach out to customer service later today but doubt it will lead to anything positive.
