Crustybeaver Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 To be fair this is an unusually high number of exclusives that have effectively retired or are flirting with retirement this year. We're talking about five this year (SSD, Haunted House, Sopwith, GE, and TH) when there were only two last year (B-Wing and Fire Brigade). Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong. The Sopwith is retiring? I must have missed that thread! Quote

Bold-Arrow Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 The Sopwith is retiring? I must have missed that thread! Some Lego stores have the retiring soon tag on the shelves next to the set . The general consensus is that it is about gone. Quote
speedsausage Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Well I just called my two lego stores, there was 2 left at one store and 4 at the 2nd last Friday, today they are dry! Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I watch what kids look at in the LEGO isles and they look at Chima sets. I gave my last worriz bike to a kid in the Lego store after I got my stuff and he about peed his pants. 5 Quote

Your probably right. Not looking for set names. But contenders done or underway as we know are SSD, SC, GE, TH, TB, PS, ToO and Horizon. Was hoping he would be super cryptic on any unknown rouges like Star Trek - There are always possibilities Or if no more perhaps - The fat man has landed. Quote
speedsausage Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Star Trek - There are always possibilities Or if no more perhaps - The fat man has landed. I'm thinking "The fat man has sang!" (Not calling you fat Ed, I'm just sayin') ;) Quote

Jeff Mack Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Ed, Do you expect any other shoes to drop on retirement this year? I can't imagine more. I think Ed was telling me that the Death Star was done. No one else is brave enough to predict that (I was being silly here) 1 Quote
trekgate502 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I thought Ed was short for Edward. Now we know Ed's real name is Enrico! Quote

You must have great skills to translate your brothers cryptology, So does Jeff stand for Jacques? As in Jacques Costeau master of the seas of Lego? Quote
