El Guapo Posted February 16, 2014 Share Posted February 16, 2014 So, there are a lot of negative eBay threads (and rightly so) but I wanted to make one about POSITIVE stories about eBay...so I will lead off. I sold a Funhouse minus the minifigures to a guy who wanted to do an in person exchange. We were emailing back and forth and were having a hard time finding a mutually agreeable time. Finally I called him (he left his number) and I said I would just leave it on my porch, he could just slide the cash under the mat. (Normally, no I wouldn't do this, but had been communicating with him for about a week and felt okay with it). Not only did he leave the cash but a few extra dollars too. Cool! I would have just avoided the whole situation. The guy dropped it in my mailbox and refunded the shipping charges...I ended up giving him the shipping charges back.
